Yulu was taken aback. This girl not only praised her, but was giving her firelizards eggs. Yes, eggs. Plural, as in more than one. They were sitting there, and if Yulu had heard correctly, had even been laid on her pants.
What were the odds of that?
"...I seriously can have these? You're not joking?"
Yulu reached down and touched the golden egg with the tip of a bandaged finger, her expression mirroring complete disbelief. One of her eyebrows was lightly raised and her lips were set in a small frown, though she was by no means unhappy.

"... Why would I joke?" Jada gave Yulu a look that clearly stated she thought the other person was very strange. On the other hand, seeing the other person so happy was normal for anyone. And two flit eggs was a hefty apology. Jada just believed in doing it right. "Anyways, Yulu, I wanted to return the clothes and give you the eggs. I'm working the kitchens today. The eggs should hatch soon, so stay close and keep them warm, okay?"
It was common sense, but Jada had learned that apparently not all common sense was... common. "My gold may pop in on you occasionally, if she finds you are the one I gave the eggs to. She's not overly aggressive, but she may cry at you. Don't give in to her feminine wiles, and you should be fine."

Yulu lifted both of the eggs into her arms, easily able to hold them both in a single one, and she nodded dumbly as she lead Jada back to her door. She was still sort of shell-shocked enough that she wasn't responding properly, merely keeping things to head nods, though she did manage to get out a few words at her doorstop. She reached over with her good hand and took One of Jada's into her own, raising it up to the level of her face.
"This is my thanks then, for your apology. It is more than I could have hoped for, and I look forward to seeing you again around the Weyr."
She ended her sentence with a kiss to Jada's hand before she backed away and moved out of sight, the two eggs still held close to her chest. Yulu would need to figure out what to do with one of them, she had no desire for two eggs, and a certain person was slowly coming to her mind . . .

Blank stare.
"Of course." Jada smiled at Yulu, almost mechanically turning around to walk down the hall. What had that been about? And a kiss? Even on the hand that was... so... manly. Gentlemanly, of course. But still.
Surreptitiously, she looked at her hand as she walked down the hall. That wasn't her first time being kissed, but it was her first time on the hand. And her first time being kissed by a girl. Who looked, acted, and thought like a guy.
Jadamirei was horribly confused right now.
