((yeah, its great that you did, since i wasn't quite sure of what the message should be any ways. Oh and Crystal of Infinity should be getting a character together for the RP, to interact with Satsuki, i think she said.))










Yuusuke greeted his friend with a slight inclination of his head, chuckling slightly as his sister tackled Kaza for one of the street magic tricks he'd displayed on many occasions. His sister loved that sort of thing, while Yuusuke saw nothing of importance in simple tricks and show magic. It was so common to see people swindle the unsuspecting out of their money with cheap tricks even he could perform.

Real magic would be another thing, it was useful if it were real. He didn't really believe in 'real' magic, having witnessed too many fake magicians in his life time. When Kaza came over and wished him a happy birthday, thus breaking him free of his thoughts, he returned the sentiments with his best early-morning-glare - not really very effective, especially if its Kaza on the receiving end of it.

Breakfast went by relatively pleasantly, and his shadow even left! ..To talk with his father about something. That was bugging him slightly, the wondering about what they could be talking about. It was most likely to be about the security part of the celebration. It seemed right around his birthday that assassination attempts became more and more common.

After breakfast, Kaza slipped off somewhere, once managing to extricate himself from the princess's clutches. She really wanted to hang out with him it seemed, since she hadn't seen him since her birthday-near four months already. Yuusuke took his sisters hand and led her to the next part of the birthday celebration, which was a sort of fair/festival in the city around the palace.

A large number of city guards were patrolling the streets, and he knew they were all keeping an eye on him and his sister. He was glad they protected her, but at the same time annoyed that they were also keeping his actions under watch.

Naraku got off the ship that was to be used for the nights festivities, his father having offered the use of their finest ship for the Prince's birthday ball. It was the ship Aerin had noticed earlier. He had decided to stay aboard for a night, so as to surprise the prince on his birthday. He had also been helping with final preparations to make the ship as safe as possible, as he'd hate for assassin's to successfully end his cousin's life.

As he walked through town, taking his time in presenting himself to the King, the young women in town started to gather in his wake. He knew the effect he had on them, and on a few young men as well-though the men hid it better than the women- and he used it to his advantage. He was uninterested in his female admirers though, as he looked to his own gender for bed-mates.

From the looks of it, evening was ever approaching, and he smirked as he saw the boy, only a couple years his junior, walking through town followed by the eyes of numerous guards. He smirked, ignoring squeals from the ladies he'd drawn in already, and made his way over to the birthday boy and his excited younger sister.

The girl saw him first, but a motion of silence kept her delighted greeting from passing her lips. The boy he'd targeted had turned his head away from him, and he saw it as a chance.

"Tanjobi Oumedetou, Chibisuke." He called out with his rich, sexy voice. He reached out and ruffled the boys hair with his cocky grin in place, waiting for the expected explosion about the nickname.

On his way back to the prince, he saw Naraku, and nodded, "Naraku-sama," he greeted seriously, "Good morning," he said, and went to Yuusuke, "Yuusuke-dono, the preparations are ready," he said, bowing slightly, "And... This..." he pulled out a simple looking yet ornate box, the size of his hand, and flat, It was white gold and silver, "Your father asked me to give this to you... For your birthday, he said," offering the box to him...

He had no idea what it was of course...

I was thinking he'd be bored, and end up following Aerin -discreetly- and would see Naraku being stuck by some clingy seaweed under water, being the only one stuck, he would decided to save him and help him onto land making sure no one saw, and then leave, so that Naraku would only see his tail, and feel him being saved, before blacking out and being found by people from the castle...]]

Satsuki felt a shiver as he thought the word, "?" he blinked, and tilted his head slightly, confused, but then shook it off.

Though, after a while, he got bored, and decided to see if he could help his brother...

Without him knowing of course...

So, he looked around, and seeing no one around, he snuck off, swimming off to find his brother...

Soon, he saw him, and hid, and when he looked away, he swam to the next rock for cover, or something else to hide behind, he followed his brother til he stopped...

Naraku chuckled at the prince's over-reaction, and lifted the young princess into a piggy-back ride. She giggled as she clutched him tightly, not wanting to fall off. He followed a half-step behind Yuusuke, noticing Taichi also following them.

They arrived at the dock in minutes and were graciously ushered on-board as the main guests to the party, as the birthday boy walked amongst them. They were given many greetings and birthday wishes, well Yuusuke was anyway.

The gathered nobles gave him and the princess warm greetings, and ignored Taichi since he was 'just the bodyguard. Hired muscle to defend the Prince.' Not important in the minds of the nobility, despite his fame as the "White Tiger". It was ridiculous, really, the way they looked down on Taichi simply because he was in the kings employ.

After all, nobles were also in the kings employ were they not? Just the fact that Taichi's name didn't come attached to any honorific past -san, and he didn't hold a title, just that minor detail had lowered Taichi's worth in their opinions. They were polite enough to him that it wouldn't reflect poorly on them, but Naraku felt that Taichi should be treated as an equal to them. He thanked the man everyday for watching over the air-headed (sometimes) prince, never out loud, as he knew it was Taichi's job to do so thus thanks were unnecessary.

He chuckled at the memory of the wounded look he'd sent his sister when he noticed her grin that said she knew before he did that Naraku was there. He was over-dramatic that way, faking being hurt and betrayed by the princess, even causing Taichi some confusion. It was a great reaction...Hmm, perhaps that sadistic blonde friend of Yuu-chan's was rubbing off on him?

Speaking of.. Where is that blondie? Kaza was his name, right?' He mused to himself as he set the girl down and watch absently as she ran off to where a table had been set up with fancy food for the dinner half of the party. After that was presents and birthday wished, Yuusuke's least favorite part, then dancing until about 11:30, then fireworks until the last strike of midnight.

Naraku moves to the outer deck of the ship and leans over the side. He was waiting as the ship made final launching preparations. The fireworks were being loaded, and it would be only minutes before the ship left the docks.

Those minutes passed with him not being disturbed by anyone who wanted to hear news from his small island nation. How thankful he was for that. He noticed Kaza entering the stairwell that led to the guests rooms, and figured the guy needed some privacy. He chuckled to himself, thinking that Kaza had found himself some early entertainment.

The ship was now moving out to sea, starting the night festivities off, and hopefully reducing the danger to the Prince's life to non-existent.
