Oh my gosh! She's falling? He thought as he braced himself for her. She landed lightly and safely within the confines of his arms, her face gently pressed against his chest. Slowly, his look of surprise slipped away as he realized that she was unharmed. Guess, I'm a good kisser... He took a minute to look at her once more, then carried her to a shady place under a nearby cherry blossom tree, where he then laid her in on a patch of soft grass. Once he knew she was comfortable, he started a fire with some dry twigs and grass. It was getting late and he was starving - and he knew sue was, too. Then, while he was starting the fire, down and to the right, he saw a snake. He quickly took advantage of the situation, drawing his sword and cutting off the head of the snake. I guess it'll be snake meat for dinner tonight. He continued his kindling and when he finished, gutted the snake, wittled two skewers, and made snake kebabs, which he smoked over the flame. The sun was now setting, but was still high enough for him to see very well.

Through closed eye's Kushina could see the darkness starting to set in then a bright light started flickering. "Urgh..." she moaned as she started to come to. Opening her eye's she noticed the scenery was suddenly different. Slowly sitting up she remembered why she had fainted. Kushina lightly brushed her finger tips against her lips. "Oh my god! Did I actually faint from something as simple as that!!! But it felt so nice." she thought as she began to stare of into space.

"So, sleeping beauty has awakened from her slumber, I see. You had me scared for a minute. Two hours is a long time to be lonely. On the other hand, it's the exact amount of time it takes to smoke snake meat. Dinner is served. I hope you like it." He spoke in a soothing voice trying to coax her into true conciousness - he could see in her eyes that she was still weary. Simultaneously, he felled a single branch of the tree above them and wittled two cups from it. "I'll be right back. I hear a stream not too far from here. YOu go ahead and eat." After those words were said, he walked vivaciously off into the trees behind them.

Kushina lightly shook her head as Ikemen spoke out to her. Looking over at what he had done surprised her, but the thing that took her by surprise even more was the fact that she had been out for 2 hours. She nodded as he left her to be by the fire, along with some food. Moving herself slightly, Kushina reached out for the food he had mentioned. Picking it up she looked it over, not knowing whither she would enjoy it or not. Taking a small bite she discovered that snake was actually good.But she only took a couple of bites before her mind started to wander off. "His kiss knocked me, an assassin out for 2 hours! That's one weakness I doubt I'll overcome." she smiled to herself. "But it felt nice. I felt all warm inside and I had butterflies in my stomach!" she spoke out, unaware that she was indeed talking out loud.

Across the 40 yard distance he had covered since he'd left wafted the voice of Kushina, who seemed to be speaking to herself. He tuned his hearing in so that he could decipher what she was saying. A huge grin inched across his face with each new word that he heard. I just kissed the girl of my dreams... and she liked it!!!! And that was my first kiss ever!!!!!!! He was so giddy that he began frolicking through the trees. When he arrived at the stream, he bent take scoops of the water. However, while the cup was filling, he looked to his right - 3 dead bodies lay face-down on the banks of the creek. He shuddered, quickly spilled the water on the ground, and walked briskly back to the cherry blossom tree. Upon returning to the fireside, he remarked, "I think we should go back to Shinji's cave, now. The water here is soiled with death. And nobody likes death water. Trust me, it's pretty disgusting."

Kushina's cheeks didn't take long this time to blush a deep red color. The sound of his voice was enough to do that plus send loving chills down her spine. Quickly standing up, she stretched her arms and legs then looked up at Ikemen, her eye's meeting his. "I believe we should too... I need to work on getting stronger so I may protects myself better." she replied, giving him a sweet smile.

As Kushina stood and stretched herself, Ikemen tried his best to speed up his perception of time so that he could see each moment of it in full detail. The true elegance that stood before him in the form of a woman was so enticing. From her soft, bare feet to her long kimono, to her flaming red hair, which was beautifully accented by the blossoming tree. When she spoke, ... Ah, when she spoke...Ikemen could tell he'd never felt this strongly about anyone before. "C'mon let's go." He extended his hand for her to hold. A bold gesture, but genuine nonetheless.

Kushina looked at his hand for a few seconds, debating whether to take it or not, but in the end her body acted before her mind. Her small hand was set into his, fitting perfectly. "Okay! Lead the way, Ikemen!" she stated, laughing quietly.

He had the vial still in his cloak pocket and all three of his swords Blood Blade, Faia, and Kumori. Blood blade was on his left hip, Kumori and Faia where across his back Kumori protruding out his left side and Faia his right, He was ready for a fight. He had his face hidden as usual but had everything else showing. The moment Ryuu stepped into the battlefield, there were eyes following him. From just out of sight, three figures chasing him through the area, until they heard him speak. Upon hearing him mention tribal warriors, they leapt into view and began circling him, snarling to each other in their own language. "It's another one from the dark!" One of them growled, brandishing a dagger at the boy. "The Dark Lord sends them to hunt us!" Another replied, this one holding a wooden spear. "It's time to deal with him. Go report to Baas. I'll take care of this." This one, the apparent leader of the group held a steel hand axe. The other two split off, running off across the battlefield, headed for their home where they would report to their leader. These raids on the warriors were getting old, and they were tired of it.
With the other two gone, the one remaining warrior held up his axe, and gestured for the boy before him to attack. If he tried to run, the warrior would simply cut him down and bring the corpse home as a trophy. The same as these "Hunters" did with them.

At the same time he let Blood Blade, Kumori, and Faia be seen. "So we could do this peacefully or one of us could die right now." The only reason he was talking is because he didn't want to become a murderer just yet. He would become a cold blooded murder soon enough. Their pride had been tarnished by these hunts, and he would stand for it no longer! Swinging his arms to the sides, the humanoid beast shoved it's face forward towards Ryuu, and let out an ear shattering roar directly into the boy's face, spittle flying from it's open mouth. Drawing back and clamping it's mouth shut, the beast swung it's axe horizontally to drive it between the boy's ribs. He would end this brat's life, and bring the corpse home to his people! An example for the Dark Lord, that they would tolerate his abuse no longer. Quote: *[Lion Roar] The creature lets out a loud high-pitched scream that shakes the ear drums of the people around it. The attack can only be used once per battle by a single individual. The victims who get caught by the sound lose Agility -10 and Dexterity -10 until he or she can rest to regain it. I can't really tell if you were responding to what the warriors said, but if you were... They were speaking a language you wouldn't be able to understand. Don't worry though! I won't kill you. Well, unless you fail to avoid my attacks. You made a big mistake giving him time to act first.

Ryuu Yukio=========================================== Ryuu didn't like getting screamed at. In fact he was pissed. The warrior would pay. He brought up Blood Blade just enough to block the axe from killing him at once. After that was done he let the blade fall right back into it's sheathe.
