Varian DuFrey Nex had his feet up on his desk with a hand under his desk"ahh yes..."His hand whipped fast from beneath his desk, and dagger tipped with a very deadly poison was soon flying towards Prism's face "...I did!"
Prism squealed as she ducked from the dagger. it missed by the slightest, cutting off some of her hair "what the hell??!?!" she thought

Nex couldn't help but smile as he clapped his hands together "Good! good good! I find that when you find yourself in danger, you are far more skilled in your reflexes, but this is not why I called you to me. I am glad you are keeping your skilled honed my dear. Ooh and if you wish you may throw it back at me, are you good with throwing daggers?"

"....somewhat.." Prism shrugged and picked up the dagger *well no DUH! i've been throwing diamond strength sharp objects since i was 6!* she thought bitterly and threw the dagger back at blinding speed

The smile disappeared as Nex threw his hand up batting away the knife, causing it to sink into a bookshelf. "I have noticed you have been...Distant lately"Nex said softly, but with sternness. He stood and went to the bookshelf where the knife was lodged, he noticed his hand was bleeding"You shared your story with me earlier today, and I wish to share one with you, though it is not about the orb. would you listen to it, Prism?"

"of coarse, you have my undivided attention." Prism was surprised. usually Master Nex was not interested in story telling. But she was interested in what he had to say.

Nex sighed, his large shoulders bellowing downward, before he turned back to her. "When I was seventeen my father sent me away with a young mages apprentice, a girl. She was beautiful, stunning. We were to travel to a Ralii encampment and poison their food supply..."Nex walked back to the front of his desk and leaned against it"...When we arrived it was discovered that it was not a Ralii camp at all, but a temple of ancestral beasts, the likes of which I had never seen. The mage and myself fought through the hordes of the beasts until we found the leader of these creatures. It was my fathers strongest warrior. He told us that I was to sacrifice the mage to the creatures and head back to my father, for she was a Ralii. I...did not. I was striken by an unknown emotion and I threw myself at the warrior. He laughed and slashed me across the chin. I was able to put a knife i had hidden in my cloak through his leg, and we were able to escape." Nex rubbed the scar on his chin.
"I took the mage and fled into the forest you snuck into today to train. she hugged me and I told her I would find us some food. As I was searching the forest, she struck me in the back with a bolt of lightning, hoping to kill me. She told me while I was curled into a ball of agony that her father told her to kill me if I could not gather the strength to sacrifice her she should kill me..."

Creed appeared his back on a wall outside of the castle, he was on the wall facing the lake. His invisibility had run out which allowed him to get to the castle undetected. He had to find a way in tho. That was all that was on his mind. Looking up on the wall he found a little opening, which looked like a window. Without making a sound he climbed the wall quickly. Jumping through the window he landed softly on the floor, he was crouching and looking around the room. It looked like a bed room of some kind, with a comic book on the floor."Wasnt expecting that." he thought to himself.

Prism stared, wide-eyed. Because of 2 reasons. 1:Master Nex is actually willing to tell her this and 2: He has felt love. "A-and this relates to me how?" she said unsure if she should say anything at all. *does he know? NO! not possible! i made sure i hid my secret well! no, he can't know, this must be something completely different.* she thought to herself.

"I'm not finished Prism."He said softly"...She laughed as she stood above me. I tripped her as soon as regained myself and cast a ice blade into her chest, killing her instantly. I sat over her weeping deeply for two reasons. One I had not expected this beautiful mistress having the ability to hurt anyone. and Two I had been betrayed by my father..."The word betrayed rolled from his tongue with a certain pain to it. "That was the first time I was betrayed, I was young and it ripped my heart out." Nex chuckled to himself as he shook his head"I don't know why I'm telling you this, maybe I'm tired"Nex plopped down into his chair again sighing once more"You may go if you wish...and Prism?"Nex smiled as he held up his hand, now oozing a black liquid"...Nice throw"

Nex covered his eyes with his injured hand"Maybe what that Lich said is getting to me."Nex felt a warmth rolling down his face. He felt his eyes, which had watered up. Nex sat quietly in disbelief. He was crying. Nex stood and went to his bookstand and placed a hand upon it bracing himself against it. The only place he would allow his emotions to rear their ugly heads would be when he sat alone in his study "Filthy creaure, making me doubt myself." Nex left his room and headed for the gate to the castle, he needed to relax.

Being in enemy's basically means you get caught your screwed. So Creed had to be extra careful and try not to alert any one of his presence. The mission was simple, find out what the Takii are planning and if they have any more info on the orb. He heard foot steps heading towards the door, thinking quickly he jumped up to the ceiling grabbed on. "Thank god that Master taught me how to hang on like this." Pulling himself up he was pressed hard up against the ceiling above the door being out of site if the person came in here. Like a jumping spider he was ready to leap if seen.

Prism walked into her room, surprised not to see anyone, because the presence she felt was incredibly strong right now. She looked around and noticed her comic. "awwwee s**t. its a good thing Master Nex didn't come in here..." she said as she picked it up, moved her bed, put it back under the stone and began chanting the spell to hide it.

A girl walked into the room, Creed kept a close watch on her. Something though in his memory triggered. The girl from the forest had the same figure as this one. Maybe this was the same girl. Creed ignored the thought and began thinking of how not to get caught. He couldnt stay of the ceiling forever, and eventually if the girl looked up she would spot him. The idea came, "I could go invisible, it wont last long but it would buy time. Maybe she will leave or go to sleep." he turned himself invisible while the girl chanted a spell.
