"Yes Sir." she replied. The General wasn't on duty? Angelina relaxed only a little. She had still been caught regardless and she'd still have to explain herself in full. Angelina patted Serahim's dashboard. It had definitely been an honor to pilot the Wing Blade for the short time she they where together.

"Sir," she said warily, hoping she wasn't going to get in any more trouble for this "Aren't you supposed to be in the hospital?" she dared to ask. Talon had been correct Angelina was mortified.

Seraphim listened intently the old liger had a proud history, and had been lucky enough to survive to tell the tale. Serahim would have given the old liger a respectable bow if he had been able. Seraphim wished one day to be like this old liger.

A deep breath was taken, exhaled, and Talon figured he might as well relax somewhat. After all, the Republic's General was at Doc. Fox's according to what he understood from the brief banter he overheard...

"Ah..er okay. " was his reply. Yes, there probably would have been some sort of title thing in there, but after all..the General wasn't here for all he knew. Yep.. Totally didn't run into the General.

The raptor bobbed its head, must to the dismay of the Pilot, at the story. It was mightily impressed.

Talon had zoned out and was flipping through his handbook ( there apparently was no section for running into the enemy General playing hookie from a hospital) to figure out what to actually do. There was the section on rigging charges ( useful..if not a couple months too late), effectively implementing duct tape patches to tents, and preparing wild game...but nothing on this. So... he grinned and scratched at his chin, "I probably should be leaving, if it isn't any problem with either of you. " It wasn't meant with any disrespect, but it was a bit curt. "And the Republic makes excellent turkey sandwiches." This was said with a nod.
Tyrant, on the other hand groaned in shame of its Pilot's words. Really...it was back to food? Siigh...

"I am only stretching my legs." Nicodemus chuckled. "It is part of recovery." Though not really the 'to the book' recovery that Dr. Fox usually and insisted on, but it was something that had kept him calm. This area in particular was relaxing because of the memories.

"Apologies for keeping you Cadet. We will be sure to send you some republic turkey sandwiches sometime." It was obvious that the General was amused by Talon's last comment. "A pleasure talking to such a fine soldier from the Imperial city. I will be sure to send good words to your superiors."

The liger laughed quietly at the Rev's actions to its pilot. Humans are odd and amusing, that was something he had learned over the years. The blade liger, he was sure, would have miraculous stories of its own in time.

The shock of being caught was finally wearing off.. a little. Angelina gave a nod. Angelina would have said goodbye again to Talon if the General hadn't been here.

Angelina moved Serahim over beside the old liger. She smiled at the old one, even though he looked worn when she looked at closer it looked as though it could still take on the other sheild ligers and win. It was an old and proud machine.

Wait, The General was going to Talk to Talon's superiors as well... Oh dear. Talon was going to be in trouble as well in that case. Angelina cringed supposed they deserved this.

Seraphim laughed quietly along with the old liger and bade Talon and Tyrant a quiet goodbye in place of it's pilot. Seraphim would be glad to spend time with the old liger on the way back to the base.

Angelina would have to remember to thank Seraphim latter for that. She still wasn't sure what to say so she just stayed quiet humiliation keeping her silent as she tried to gather her thoughts and regain a calm head..

He nodded and wheeled the Raptor back towards the nearest Imperial base. He heard that he'd be getting sammiches and grinned widely. Sweet! Food! The mailroom folks would hate him no doubt, but hey...food was awesome and worth the glares in the hallways.

"Pleasure's all mine Sir. " Talon froze... He'd speak with the supirors? Oh shi----! "Thank you sir..." he said, hiding the obvious dislike of that idea.

The Raptor roared a farewell to the other two Zoids at a fast walk before going to a full run towards that blip that was his base. Eeeep! He was soo in trouble.

Letter/Package to Talon
(This letter will be received three days after this event)

Letter: From Lieutenant Bradly Collonal:

We have been informed of your encounter with the Republic army. And are proud of the reports and compliments we have received from their General Whitebane. To show such pride for the Empire and respect to our allies goes above and beyond the call of duty. We are proud to have a grand pilot such as yourself serving this Empire. Keep it up.

(( There have also been mentions of Talon becoming an Ambasitor for the Imperial army, but nothing yet is said in stone. Needless to say even the Emperor was full of pride to receive compliments on his solders. Talon was also noted of this.

In a package that came with the letter, Another note was attached to a strange MRZ, whom seemed happy to be out of the box: ))

I'm sure this will come in very useful for you. Keep up the good work Cadet.

-General Nicodemus Whitebane.

ps: I did not take Cadet Solari's ZOID away. In case you were wondering.

(( Also a well preserved fresh turkey sandwich was found in the box... ))

Nicodemus watched as the Rev and his pilot speed off. Life, life was ironic sometimes. And odd. The General than focused on his 'body guard' for the evening. She had been silent, no doubt worried. The thought of playing 'you are possibly in trouble' crossed his mind. Though funny for the moment he passed the idea. Something he would have expected Rudolf to get a kick of.
"..." He sighed. The cockpit of the old liger opening as it lowered its head. "Common Cadet. Let's get this debriefing over with..."

The com-link shut switched off as the Pilot exited the cockpit and waited for the soldier to join...

Angelina nodded nervously before replying "Yes Sir." she straightened herself out and took a deep breath she was supposed to be good at keeping herself composed, this was pathetic. She sighed there would be no pint in lying either it would just get her into more trouble than she was already in. The liger's light blue canopy opened Angelina switched off the com before slipping out and joining General Whitebane.

"Sir," she saluted "Where would you like me to start." she waited for his response before speaking.

Nicodemus was certainly not lying about not being on duty. He wore a loose white cotton button up shirt, tucked neatly into his denim jeans. It was too casual for his usual uniform. And honestly it was a relief.

Angelina could see some of the bandages wrapped around his neck and chest through the shirt. The wound had been less troublesome since the night he received it, not that it made much of a difference in his behavior.

Nicodemus returned the salute and offered for Angelina to have a seat in the lush grass. "From the beginning of your mission, please."

(*Coughscoughs*typo *Coughs* Not Marcia)

He really didn't look like he was on duty, but Angelina did notice the bandages. He clearly wasn't finished healing either. He should still be in the hospital, but instead he had been out here.... god she was embarrassed.

"Yes Sir." she said as she started talking about her mission. It had been rather uneventful, she hadn't even run into any sleepers as she had been scouting. But... she then started to explain how she had seen a blip on her radar and found Talon. She then continued with how he had asked her to eat lunch with him and she had accepted, They had exchanged sandwiches, she she told him what they spoke about, not leaving anything out, and how they where both artists and had drawn each others zoids and exchanged them.

"It's in Seraphim's Cockpit if you'd like to see it Sir." she said trying to show she hadn't been lying. "We said our good byes after that and then you appeared Sir." she finished, she wasn't sure what to expect, she waited, Stiffly for his reply.

(( 9~9 I have issues today... Thank you. <3 ))

Nicodemus took his seat on the ground. Hoping to calm the soldier a bit by not seeming so professional. He was aware of his presence being intimidating, but that was not something he willingly put on. Some times...

The whole time Angelina gave her explanation Nicodemus's eyes never left hers. He was actually quite good with telling if people were fibbing or not. That was a skill perfected when he was growing up. When she finished her story Nicodemus looked out to the pond.

"There is no need, I believe you." He looked back to Angeina. "Though the meeting was harmless, you have to be careful when on duty. Especially when opposite military personnel is involved. "

Angelina waited as he looked back over to the pond. He didn't seem as though he was going to yell at her. But she wasn't sure what was going to happen. Angelina listened as The general spoke. "Yes I will Sir." He had said the meeting was harmless.. But still.

"I'm sorry sir." He was right, If it hadn't been Talon it could have been someone who would of attacked her when she had gotten out of her cockpit. Why hadn't she thought of that before.

Angelina bowed low. "Please don't take Seraphim away." She finally said wat had really been on her mind.

It wasn't so much that the rival pilot would have been dangerous, but rather the encounter would raise suspicion. Though Angelina was only a cadet, he had confidence in her skills. She was the one who caught the gunman after all.

Nicodemus' eyebrow quirked at Angelina's desperate plea. He had no intention of removing the ZOID in the first place. Up until now he had been good about keeping his laughing to a minimum. "Take your ZOID? I don't think I could if it were ordered. You two share a close bond... I'd have to destroy it before it left your side." Nicodemus laughed. "Your fraternizing with a fellow soldier is no grounds for the removal of your ZOID. From your story your meeting was not intentional. And I do not see you as a traitor to the Republic. No, Seraphim will stay with you."

Nicodemus took a deep breath as he calmed down from his laughter.

When the general started laughing Angelina looked up suddenly, HE was laughing?! Angelina couldn't believe it for a moment. He had never even intend to take Seraphim away from her.

Seraphim Gave a growl of agreement to the generals word, he wouldn't Leave Angelina unless he was destroyed.

Angelina looked over at The blade liger. Seraphim was very precious to her, She had always considered the liger like a best friend to her. She would have been devastated if he had to have been taken. When he had told her she wasn't going to loose Seraphim she felt as though something had been lifted from her shoulders.

"Thank you very much Sir!" Angelina looked back to the general and spoke a smile filled with relief and gratitude.

Nicodemus looked back out over the pond with a chuckle. Angelina's smile hopefully she was a bit more relaxed than when he first arrived.

"So you are an artist?" He finally spoke again. "Odd enough, so am I..." The general chuckled. It was always a beak when not having to constantly be talking about work and/or filling out mountains of paper work.

Missions he tended to do on his own. Most people thought that it was off for a general to complete missions by his self, but the unknown territories were dangerous. Especially with almost every ZOID on that territory being a bio ZOID. But there was little interaction with anyone on his missions.

Angelina was indeed relieved she gave a slight nod "I am Sir." she was very proud of her work, often painting in between missions and when she had some time off. The General did art too? That was something she hadn't even heard of at least amongst the other cadets, maybe the higher ranked offices knew? But regardless Angelina loved to look at art, maybe he'd allow her the privilege of looking at it one day now wasn't the time.

"Sir, if I may be bold enough to ask, why are you out here instead of in the hospital recovering?" she asked obviously concerned for her superiors well being. Shora had told her after about the generals wound. He had obviously healed faster than expected, or he was just simply pushing himself, but the Reason Angelina was unsure She still wanted to know the real reason he had asked to her be his body guard.
