I don't keep count, but I try to do as many as possible. And just off the top of my head at least thirteen, because at least ten of them are about believin gin G-d and revering G-d's name, and more so about putting on tallit and tefellin which I do as well almost every morning.

YvetteEmilieDupont nathan_ngl YvetteEmilieDupont now i wonder this, me trying to keep good karma can i count good deeds to mizvahs and good karma???? or do i have to choose one? you know, there is karma in judaism - it's called "gmul" (G-Moo-le). Good miztvot and their reward, bad mitzvot and their punishment are all linked with gmul biggrin . So if you like karma, you like gmul too! The great part is, gmul is both reward AND good treatment in return for your actions 3nodding ... yea i'll stick with karma i won't murder that word when trying to say that stare i couldn't even say my name right for like a year of my life. And who were the jerks that wouldnt even help you correct that?!?! scream *ties them up with a lasso Man thats mean. Its such a nice name im sure people could correct you if you werent sure Anywho Chaya's is a beautiful name, ive always loved it!! 3nodding No matter how its pronounced lol wink how did you decide apon choosing it? smile

I'm shomer shabbas and I keep kosher in the house but I'm not glat-kosher and I usaully (thought I try not ot) eat non-kosher dairy outside of the house. so i guess that adds on a few more mitzvot to my count

nathan_ngl TunaSandwitch I don't keep count, but I try my best to be considerate to others. Donovinhs Knight Depends on the day I know this will sound kinda selfish...but if Im not in a good mood there is absolutely no way I can do anything good...so I just stay away from people so I dont do any anti-mitsvahs o.O the most mitsvahs ive ever done in a day where like...3 maybe 4? I'm sure you do a lot more. Anything as small as holding the door for someone is a mitsvah. I mean, it doesn't say outright that holding doors for people is a mitsvah, but because you get reward for it, it technically is.
Controlling yourself from doing something bad is a mitsvah. Every time you decide not to yell at your sibling, you get reward.
Even if you do a bad deed, there's a difference between doing it automatically and thinking about not doing it, and then doing it. Let's say you're deciding whether or not you're going to eat at McDonald's for lunch. You don't want to because it's not kosher, but you want to because they have good burgers. Even if you eat there, you get a mitsvah for every second that you were considering not eating there.
So basically, I'm sure you do a lot more than 3 or 4 mitsvos per day. You brought up the opinion noted in the book talelei orot of the rav kook, and from the sefer ikarim smile . Correct 3nodding ! Really? I did? I haven't heard of either of them. I just used some basic knowledge that I learned.

tsvi_tyl You cant alot of things we do are mitzvas, and we dont notice. Even if we did notice, it's a very sad thing if a person is able to quantify the amount of mitzvot he does. A person should be doing so many mitzvot (most of the time you are doing more than a few simutaneously) that he/she can't even count them from the sheer amount of calculations and size of the number.
