((Yeah, I agree. I changed it to open RP now.))
Hisani herself wasn't having same kind of battle that Muroki had in his mind. She wasn't thinking any further, she had no idea. All that the little voice said in her mind was that Muroki was saying the most beautiful words to her while her heart was beating like crazy and she was shaking and she felt like she would cry soon for happiness. "Thank you," she whispered.
((Aww, young love is so sweet. blaugh ))

"It's okay, Goldie."
He closed the small gap between them again to nuzzle her shoulder, on impulse. With that done, he pulled away, and started towards a deep puddle nearby. Muroki couldn't be bothered to go to the proper waterhole and this would do. His throat felt dry and his heart was pounding.
The internal battle raged, but on the outside, he remained calm.

Paralyzed, like she had just met a snake, Hisani staid at where she was now. She wanted to do something but nothing came to her mind about what she could have done or say. She didn't even know how to feel. Then, the reality hit her. Her mother wasn't beside her! She mewed once and looked around, worrying, almost panicking. Why her mother wasn't close to her?
Laini wasn't really far away from her, but apparently, too far. She stopped her grooming and came beside Hisani where she gave her a nudge. She looked at Muroki and couldn't help frowning. This must have been hard to him. It was to her, at least. "Hisani, I will talk with Muroki a bit, is it okay?" she asked carefully.
Hisani nodded, though a bit absent minded. She wasn't yet survived from this emotional shock that just came to her.
"Thank you. I will come back soon," the grey lioness said with comforting manner. She padded next to Muroki and bowed down, like she was going to drink too. "How are you feeling?" she worryingly asked with low voice, so low that Hisani couldn't hear her.
((Because Hisani and Muroki has grown now, I think we could end this session and start new one where they are adult and adolescent, don't you think?))

Oh dear. He'd forgotton Hisani didn't like being 'alone' when he left her side. Muroki watched with sad gold eyes as she panicked. Atleast Laini could comfort her...
As the grey lionness cam over, her paused to scratch at his growing mane before answering. How was he feeling? Confused, worried and like he needed some air.
"I don't think I should have said that to her. Hisani's my best friend." -And he couldn't love her! He was a charming liar. A flirt. He wasn't good enough for her for one thing. And she was ill.
"Besides, she doesn't need stress right now..." After aking sure both lionnesses were okay, he went out; played tag with a young female; and was sneered at by a white cheetah.~

((Starting another one then. smile ))
Hisani wasn't very good at tracking but she knew that Muroki's scent was getting closer and closer and mother's and all other familiar scents were little by little fading away. She was alone now. Only the scent of her friend was with her now.
Finally, she was so close Muroki and Kiuma so that she could see them and they her. She rose her head and just watched. Who was that girl?

Edit "How would I prove myself to you, hmm?" He laid down, calmly, turning his gaze to a skull wedged under the rock - it was clearly a grave site...Muroki sighed. "Look princess, I'm a rogue and a friendly one at that. As much as I admire and respect your pride, I'm only here because of my mother's bones and because a friend and her mother are nearby. I'm not mooching, or joining, and I'm very sorry if I have annoyed you." "Good." Kiuma nodded sharply, plopping her red behind into the dust and sitting back on her haunches. Frowning, she began to wash her creamy chest, annoyed by the dust that clung to it. Between licks, she watched Muroki carefully with one eye.
"Why are you mother's bones on our lands? And how did Bakhti find you here? If you want to prove yourself, tell me your story."

"One moment, your highness..." Muroki looked to the other female, smile softening. Reassuring, he motioned for her to come sit next to him or something. Ah, Golden Girl. "This is Kiuma. Kiuma, this is Hisani - she's my best friend."
Now. On with the story! Kwahiri had been a storyteller and a minor priestess in the Dawnwalker pride, and her son had picked up her way of using your voice for an affect. Probably why he was such a good liar and could charm a buzzard away from carrion.
"The simplest version will surffice? Once, there was a pride called the Dawnwalkers who lived far from here. But then the Two-leggers came with their fire sticks and took the water. The plague came with them and the pride dwindled.
My uncle, the king, who I barely remember, was leading a small band of surviors. My mother got lost and was starving herself to keep myself, my brother, and our sister alive; we were her second litter, I think.
I don't know the fate of my father, uncles, aunts, elder siblings and cousins. I know my littermates died but i was the eldest and stronger than my poor brother and late sister. Kwahiri collapsed where we now sit, a mother to be proud of and one I still come to pray for.
I didn't know what death was when Bakhti and Mahiri found me. They told me that my mother had gone. Bakhti, having made sure I would be safe, left me in the care of Rahima, a rogue lionness and a friend. She is the crimson lionness I mentioned, and with her I've travelled alot.
Now, if you don't mind...I need a drink" He grinned. Wow, that was a long speech. They'd better have been listening!

Kiuma blinked once before coming back to herself and shaking her head to clear it. She loved stories, and that one had been fair. She smiled crookedly, forgetting for the moment to replace her mask. "That's a sad story, but I liked how you told it. But... what's a two legger? And what are firesticks?" She asked, trailing after him on his way to the water. Waiting for his answer, she studdied the other lioness, some of the hardness coming back into her young eyes.

A smile rose to her muzzle as she saw Muroki's welcoming gesture. She rose her speed a bit, soon she was next to him. Wow, how big he had become. It surely had been time since they saw each other last time.
He gave him a soft nuzzle and then, glanced at Kiuma. "Hi," she said silently, kind of shy way which after she rose her head to look at Muroki when he told his story.
The story, it was awesome! Muroki was a great storyteller. Hisani wished she could be as good with stories as he was. But she was shy one. Too bad.
Speaking of shyness, Hisani hadn't spoke much after that 'hi' she said. She just followed Muroki, head a bit down. Maybe the presence of another lioness was making her nervous.
Kiuma could see that the golden lioness was smaller than usually lionesses are in this age. Maybe she was youngest? She might have seen also her ribbon like scars on her back.

No way he was explaining before he'd quenched his thirst. An hour or so of on going prayers and then a story were harsh in such hot weather. Fortunately, a deep, settled puddle wasn't far. Ah, water...heaven.
"Thanks, though I didn't tell it as well as I have before. Now. Two-leggers are also called hue-mans, I think. They're like upright hairless monkies. Dangerous things."
He continued to answer the princess' question even as he greeted Hisani properly with a nuzzle and a lick on her cheek. His dear dear friend. Kiuma may have had the lands and the bloodrights and the true title. But the scarred, quiet, smaller female was the princess to Muroki. Nay, a golden queen!
They use fire-sticks or normal sticks to kill with, since they're not very strong or fast. Fire-sticks can kill you from far away with, well, fire."
He smiled politely at the scarlet female. "Have I prooved myself, your majesty?"

Kiuma frowned as she settled back on her haunches. Sitting primly, her tail wrapped around her paws, she sniffed and eyed the two stranger lions. "I don't think I believe you. Hue-mans? Fire that kills from far away? And I've never heard of a pride called the Dawnwalkers. I guess I don't doubt Bahkti finding you after your mother died, but the rest is obviously a story to entertain cubs with. And I'm not a cub." The scarlet lioness rose ubruptly, her spine stiff.
"If you're not here to join the pride, and I'm thankful for that, I suggest you leave. We don't need rogues traipsing all over the place, eating the prey we could be feeding on. Especially ones who make up such ridiculous stories." Giving him a glare, and flashing a scowl at the young lioness with him, she turned and headed back towards Priderock, her tail lashing behind her. Rogues... She really couldn't see why her parents were so lenient with them. From what she could tell, most were either lacking in intelligence, or unable to tell a straight truth.

Hisani smiled a bit when Muroki greeted her but her smile faded soon as Kiuma started to speak. Why she was saying such rude things? Why she didn't believe Muroki's story? Hisani did. Her mother had told her about humans too. They were real, Hisani was sure about it.
She blinked as the red princess gave her a scowl after telling them leave. Her ears flattened and her tail hit the ground at times and she frowned. What she did wrong this time?

His tone remained pleasant as he called after her.
"Don't believe in humans then, princess. I've never seen any myself but enough lions, including my mother, and other creatures have mentioned them that I'll belive."
He kept his stance neutral, but he was annoyed. What an arrogant, rude girl...but then, hue-mans were weird and firesticks made no sense. It was all he knew.
"And I am Muroki, son of Kwahiri and Mawali. I'm a Dawnwalker, and I don't doubt you've never heard of us, because we came from far away. I'm sure my orginal pride had never heard of Pridelanders either - very inventive name, by the way."
The tan male started to walk away.
"Say hello to Bakhti and Mahiri for me, please. It's been too long since I saw them last."
