Phoenix was so close to being able to grab at the ropes that she could almost taste it. Her fingers barely brushed the twisted rope that ran along that side of the squared circle and if she could just inch towards them just a bit more, that would make her day. If Yuke would slack up on her hold just a bit,she'd have her freedom that much sooner.

The hold was taken its toll on Yuke as well as she lost her concentration between torturing Phoenixfire and preventing herself from being pinned. The hold was loosened up a bit

Phoenix pushed herself forward with all the strength she could muster and took hold of the rope with her hand. All she had to do was wait for the referee to call Yuke off within the next few seconds. That meant all she had to do was grasp that fine line between freedom and defeat for just a few seconds longer and she'd hopefully be able to start the trek back towards being the dominant force in the match-up.

The ref counted to 4 and Yuke reluctantly let go of the hold. She was amazed by Phoenixfire's determination, but Yuke believed the damage was done.

Phoenixfire released a sigh of relief as Yuke let go at the insistence of the ref. She couldn't believe she was free from that hold; it seemed like she spent an eternity fighting defeat. Phoenix kept her grip on the ropes as she began to try to stand up. Yuke had certainly left a lasting impression and almost certainly some sort of injury. She knew that the next few moments would be crucial and that Yuke would try anything, so she had to be focused or else.

The next few moments were once again make or break and Yuke was intent to keep on the momentum of wearing Phoenixfire down. She would attempt to kick Phoenixfire in the mid section; if successful she'd attempt her new signature move. The Konami Code ( Reality Check)

The outlook for Phoenix in this match was growing bleaker as time wore on. Phoenixfire was rather astonished at how much ground she was losing in her struggle for victory, knowing that it couldn't be much longer until this was all over. The probability of her defeat was so high that it was disheartening. It was especially discouraging when she found herself taking another blow to the midsection and finding herself entrapped in another one of Yuke's signature moves. As she found herself collapsing back onto the mat, Phoenix began to wonder to herself- was it worth it to continue?

After Yuke's signature move connected, Yuke collapsed. It was a back and forth match at the beginning until the figure four took them both out. Yuke had used one burst of momentum for the Konami Code. She had a little ounce of strength left and managed to drape it on Phoenixfire.

With the back and forth action between the two female stars, this match had the trappings of one of the best Women's matches there ever was. It was enough to make the crowd shift in between deafening roars and raucous applause for such an action-packed match that it made up for the sting of imminent defeat. Phoenixfire couldn't find the strength within her to resist defeat. The two stars had been battling it out for what seemed like the longest time now so Phoenix didn't so much as flinch when she noticed Yuke barely make it to the mat for a pin. As much as her heart told her to fight just one last time, the aching pain that echoed throughout her body convinced her it was time to give up the ghost.
1...2...3...
Phoenix felt so tired that the moments between noticing the referee preparing for the count and the actual count were but a blur. So finally,she could breath a sigh of relief. It was over;it was finally over.

Yuke's hand was raised in victory, when she got up. She looked down at the fallen Phoenixfire and attempted to bring her to her feet to shake her hand. She would then raise Phoenixfire's hand up as a sign of respect. After all these two fought brutally back and forth.
Yuke couldn't help but be pleased that there was another diva here that could go.

Phoenixfire winced as she rose back to her feet to have her hand raised by Yuke. Never before had another Diva shown her such respect. It was truly an honor to have her hand raised by her rival because it made it quite clear that somebody still had respect for what she did. Phoenix managed to don a smile through the aches and pains that had most of her attention at the moment, thankful for another rival's appreciation.
