"Will do sir." Lucy left the warehouse and headed across the street back to the building she came from. She opened the door and ammediately started packing cans of food, ammunition, her crappy radio, everything she could into her pockets and as much as she could carry. She walked back across the street and rapped on the door.

Lucy immediately ran through the door, slamming it behind her in case more came after her. "Just fine. Startled but...im okay." She put her small pile of boxes and cans on the floor and pulled a few more out of her pockets. "I have about six cans of food, five boxes of ammunition, my radio, a handgun with no trigger, and two blankets."

Paul and Joely were on the second floor being over run by zombies from both sides. They were in a narrow hallway so going left or right was out of the picture. Paul noticed a loose door to his left. He told Joely, who was back to back with him, "Joely, on the count of two, jump to my left." Paul fired a few more head shots to get a few seconds of clearing for them to get into the room, then in miliseconds Paul shouted, "1 2!" then jumped at the door. Joely followed after because the rate at which he counted suprised her.

The door flew open and Paul immediatly closed it with his foot. He fired a few shots at the three zombies inside then stood up. Joely was a bit shakin but she was ok. She stood up and both Paul and her walked over to the window. Both of their faces dropped at the sight. Thousands of zombies spilled out of the hotel and many others near by. It would be almost impossible to get by them all.

Donovan looked over his shoulder at Lucy. "Keep it. It's of no use to me." He gave the list to one of the men and the rest gathered to organize how to split the food.

There was a loud thump up stairs and the feint voice saying "Dony!" Donovan quickly looked up and picked up his rifle. He ran over to the stairs only to see a woman running down screaming and and man falling down with a large hole ripped in his stomach.

Donovan had a face of anger and sadness. Inside he was a bit relieved. One less person to take care of. "Alright, get him and-" Donovan's head shot up as he heard three more thumps. He covered the screaming ladies mouth and signaled the other two to be quiet. The man with the gun looked at Donovan funny. "What's your problem," he said just before a zombie began falling down the stairs. It fell too fast for anyone to react and just as it reached the bottom it sprang up and latched onto the man.

Three more zombies began coming down the stairs, their foot steps covering the other thumps from up stairs. "Trucks, now everyone!" he shouted and the room turned into a furry of scatter. The men in the room darted out with the radios and put them in the truck right next to Donovan's.

Donovan fired off a few shots driving the zombies back, only to have them return with more. The trucks began to start up and Donovan threw the lady towards them. "Come on, you can ride in mine!" he exclaimed as he began sprinting over to a truck with a child and a pregnant woman.

The large doors slid open quickly and the trucks began to pull out two by two. The whole street was completely flooded with zombies. Donovan was towards the end. He planted down another turret and began firing at the zombies from the side. As his truck got out side he saw the sea of the dead. "Get into the center you two,"he said to the lady and the boy. He wanted to prevent what happened to the last pregnant lady. Donovan looked up and was astonished. Zombies, leaping from Lucy's building into the top window of Donovan's.

The first truck turned right and the rest followed. They were headed to Beverly hills. The group had been there before. All the rich people had bought safe houses, but still many of them had died. The only problem with the rooms was that they were small and spread out, making it hard to manage everyone. But now that they had less people, they'd be less spread out.

The trucks were headed down the street. Before all of them were on it a truck was already taken out. The zombies on the roof had jumped on it's wind shield causing it to swerve into a compact group of zombies. The zombies had no problem getting inside. That was another 8 people dead.

The rest of the trucks continued on, running over zombies by the piles. The trucks began to spread a bit. Donovan's truck pulled up next to Lucy's. "JUST ANOTHER DAY IN L.A.!" he shouted over to her over the noise of all the gunfire and engines.

"Um... BAD IDEA!" shouted Donovan. "THEY'RE ZOMBIES, THEY SURVIVE UNTIL THEIR INCINERATED!" Out of the flames behind the trucks came zombies sprinting out at top speed. It seemed like they were running away from the pain of the flames while running after them. Donovan documented this in his head for his next broad cast. He knew the west coast zombies weren't completely dead anymore, but he kept this info to himself, and he was planning too keep it that way. Even from Lucy.

The group of trucks had broken away from the zombies and were getting ready to enter Beverly hills. Behind them was a great blaze that stretched for miles from the flaming zombies. Donovan just hoped there were no survivors any where near the fires. Donovan stood up and took a head count of the trucks when the noise calmed down. "Only two this time! We're getting better!" He shouted over to Lucy. He turned around and looked at the up coming Beverly Hills. "Have you ever been here before!?" he asked as he began strapping his guns to himself. Others around began to do the same, as if they were preparing for something. "It's really cool! To bad everything is mostly privately owned."

"Actually i've never been here before! I think I might have driven past it once on a school field trip though..." They kept shooting at the zombies as they drove past houses, some of which were still occupied and fewer still were the ones that actually cared enough to shoot and take out a few dead themselves.

Eventually as they passed a house where a man came running outside waving his arms. Lucy thought he was letting them avoid the zombies in his house, but changed her mind when more of them came out of the house and sank their teeth into him. The vans drove faster.
