Jasmine looked at the statue quietly for a moment, and then asked the others, "So, I guess we don't know if this one's going to blow up as well. With the goat eating the garlands, I think we can safely assume it isn't set up to blow due to motion." Gesturing to the goat, who was chewing on the garland contently, the statue was very much intact.

Bravely walking up to the statue, Delilah tentatively reached out a hand to the statue's arm. It was cold and smooth, definately stone, probably marble. The statue looked rather out of place in the small wood clearing. There was no-one nearby who could've possibly have made it. In place of its eyes, there were two warm brown gems that seemed to twinkle. Delilah still couldn't place the name to the statue. Delilah turned to walk back to the group, as the four-horned goat started to bleat.

Sage glanced at the goat and shook her head with a grin. " You might have started a trend Delilah. Next thing you know everyone is going to want four horned goats."

Flicker frowned for a bit, staring at the statue. "Well, I think that could possibly be Pan, the Greek god of wilderness, but Im foggy on whether or not the Greeks made many statues dedicated to him. It could also just be any random satyr...but regardless of who it is, with the clothes we're wearing, we'll stick out like sore thumbs. Not to mention people might be hostile to us when we ask for directions. It's best we have disguises and a coverup story so that it will be harder for the enemy to find us. I can rustle up the clothing. Any ideas on the story?" Flicker pulled out packages of clothing, and passed them out to everyone.

Quickly donning the clothing which consisted of a several metallic bangles, a travelling cloak and a strange garment that Flicker had called a 'tunic'. Delilah had almost insisted that they wear shorts underneath them, but for the sake of the continuity of trying to not look too strange, Delilah hadn't suggested it. Thinking a while, Delilah looked at the statue. It didn't even look like it had been made in the century they were supposed to be in. Had they travelled further back than they were supposed to? "Depending on what time this is, our story might not sound valid." Delilah then suggested, "Would it be believable to suggest that we are emissaries from some strange far off land that were waylaid on our way to pay respect to the town of Athens and need directions to get on our way?"

Sage tugged on her tunic as she made a slight face. She knew it was to blend in but she much preferred her jeans and tube top. " I guess. I can change my hair color using a mirage because I doubt they would believe we're normal if they saw my real hair color. "

The clothing was uncomfortable and strange in Jasmine's eyes, but wearable. Pulling her fingers through her hair, she commented, "I think my hair will be fine. Maybe not in the style, but plain enough not to be noticed." Turning to Delilah, she said, "I think that would be a good idea unless they started to question us too much. Lying's always an option, but too much hesitation and they'll start to get suspicious."

"The best way to tell a lie is to use aspects of the truth." Delilah said as she leant against a tree, the goat sitting beside her feet "We can't blatantly tell everyone we happen to meet of our mission, but we can give some minor details away..."

Sage smiled slightly and created a mirage around her hair. Instead of being a teal color it now looked exactly like Delilah's hair.

Jasmine frowned for a moment. "Wherever we can find people. My sense of direction isn't the best in the world, and I don't have a clue where the nearest person is. Delilah, you're pretty good with directions. Any idea?"

Flicker frowned to herself slightly in thought. "Maybe if we follow the road for a bit, it will lead us to a town or something. Maybe then we'll know if we showed up in Greece before or after the Oddysey, yeah? If we're in the era around the Illiad, that would be what, 1194 - 1184 BC?" Flickers eyes lit up for a second. "ooh! We could pretend to be rhapsodes! Uh...I have no clue if they travel in groups though...hm. But it could work, right?"

He was walking calmly down the road, the butt of his spear searching the ground in front of him in case of loose rocks or outstretched tree roots. He had been walking for three days in search of the enemy camp, hiding somewhere in the valley. Finally he crouched down on a stump to take a break.
Then he suddenly heard the explosion, and jumped up from his seat, spear and shield falling to the ground. He quickly scooped them off and headed off into the sound of the direction.
He reached the edge of a clearing before he noticed the presence of four humans and a goat. Pausing, he waited to sense what the people were doing in the clearing of Pan, the Nature Lord. If Pan's servants found them, they would not be pleased.
