he fell over on the bed beside Dem and stared up at the cealing pondering..
Had he really...just KISSED him? And everything still seemed so, normal.
It seemed so...good.
Yes, good was the perfect word for it. Comfortable, like his hoodies, his old sneakers.
... surely if it was 'love' there would be more, fireworks, or arguments. Right?
And yet, he glanced over at Dem just watching him. And yet, and yet -what-, you didn't fall for your ROOM MATE at a boys college over one -kiss-.
You just didn't... and you didn't want -more- than that. It just, didn't work that way...did it?

Demy groaned, flopping onto his back beside Z.
"Some reward Z, some ******** reward."
He was laughing though. Whatever, that was good enough. Besides, today he had an even better reward.
That KISS. That had meant something...right? Z had actually gone in for it, without any prompting from the blonde. Surely something was there? Or at the very least, there was a sliver of hope that something could be there. That was enough for Demy to latch onto for now. Enough for him to put on his happy face and deal with all that was going on.
Last night had been bad for Z, but good for his Negaverse self.
Today had been good for Z, but not so productive on the Negaverse end.
All in all it evened out, and he had to call it 'good'.

He laughed, soft and on the warmer side of things, not his mean little one saved for when he was angry at the world and plotting horrid things for them.
"Well then YOU pick, never ask someone to pick your reward for you, it seldom ends well" He smirked a little at the lesson.
"What do you really want, ask for that, what's the worst hat could happen, someone says no, but at least you asked."

Ask? ******** that. He wasn't asking! Z didn't ask earlier and nothing er...bad...had come of it!
"Fine, I pick..."
He rolled over, snagging his friend in the tightest hug he could manage.
"That you're stuck here, snuggling, until we have to go pick up the food. And god damnit if you struggle Z it's only going to hurt me and then you'll feel bad! So you better not..."

a long shocked pause followed. No struggling either.
"....you have learned well young padawan... too well. None of this student becomes the master s**t or I'm gona start calling you grass hopper."
He mumbled blushing.
"Cuddling... dirty truck man, dirty trick."
Funny how he didn't seem to mind.
