Deza walked in humming and smiling behind her mask.
"Alright for the record. I'm a healer not a fighter so i have a deal for you. This way i don't have to hurt anyone." she said smiling wildly behind her mask.

Edward pushed his hood back, his eyes staring at her from over the rebreather.
"What's the deal then?" He tilted his head curiously. He may not agree to it, but he was still interested in what she wanted to say. She certainly felt cheerful enough.
Are you worthy of it?

a fox like smirk spread across her hidden feachers.
"take my mask." she replied slyly. "but don't hold back. come at me with the intention to kill, do what ever it takes, and what ever you do, don't take it easy on me just because i'm a girl."
Deza wasn't stupid, she was doing this for a reason. while her taijutsu may have been weak, she was very good at close range combat, not to mention her wonderfull healing abilities. she wouldn't have to much to worry about. she was smart after all. it was times like now when she missed HER sensei. he was a true testament to what a healer should be. she was small yes, but she would prove that she was stronger than she looked. after all, they don't let just anyone become an ANBU.

Respect gets you a lot in this world...  "Come at you to kill? I like the way you think Miss Herusu! Very well then, same terms apply to you, try to remove my half-mask. And don't worry young lady, I don't hold back too well!" Edward opened up by spinning several slow Mizu Fuuma Shuriken at her, the large water blades merely a distraction to her. The trio of blade were laucnched at her in a staggered pattern - she would have to block them or figure out some way to dodge faster than he expected her to to escape from the slew of shuriken.
Before the Shuriken had covered half the distance between them, Edward had unleashed a large Water Dragon, causing it to circle around the room menacingly. It was merely waiting for an opportunity to strike. The former Kage wasted no time in dropping back, hiding his handseals behind his back. He didn't want her to see that the seals ended in a Lightning Affinity seal, and prayed that she wouldn't notice that all of the water attacks he had used were slightly oversized and leaving trails of water on the ground. Are you worthy of it? (The Fuuma Shuriken were thrown so that if you try dodging to the left or right, you'll run into another shuriken - clarification)

Deza swiftly pulled her staff out from where it was tied behind her back, and blocked them with ease. she smirked as she felt the serge of chakra around her.
~so he uses water jutsu as well, this can be used to my advantage.~ she thought to herself. in all honesty, he had chosen the wrong person to mess with. "as interesting as that sounds, i don't think i will. i'll even add one more thing. i'll only use seventeen Jutsu attacks. that's it, however i'll only use at most eleven different types of jutsu and only two of them will be attack kind, the others will all be healing. however if you think your water lizard will help you any, you're dead wrong. try that against someone who uses fire jutsu and you might stand a chance."
she loved messing with her opponents heads. it's what made her such a challenching opponent, she could easily outsmart almost anyone she fought against with out having to attack and still win the battle. she was deffinately not one to be underestemated. after all, a medic knows every weakness of the human body.

Respect gets you a lot in this world... Edward grinned widely and clicked his tongue against his teeth. The Mizu Fuuma Shuriken had served their purpose, covering the girl in water from when she had blocked the weapons and caused them to burst. The Water Dragon Rushed up into the air and roared its defiance down at her.
"Oh but, what if I don't even do that?" He grinned slightly. It had been a while since he had tried an elemental combination jutsu, but here he was. Well, one wasn't a combination but still...
"Raiton: Raikou no Yaiba!" A thin blade of electricity, humming loudly, sprang from his fingers as he slammed it into the water trail at his feet. Electricity arced through the water, following the path of least resistance as it followed the water trail straight towards the water drenched girl. To keep her from getting the water off if she could use Suiton, Edward immediately took control of the water, using his enhanced chakra stores to enable him to use the Mizu Soujou on all the loose water nearby. Even if she could use Suiton, his current control meant she would not be able to dry herself off, nor use the water for a jutsu. Then he ran through another chain of seals, ending with his hand pointed up at the dragon above them.
"Yes, the Suiryuudan is more useful against Fire wielders, but it's still a high C-rank ninjutsu... and did you know, that if one was to infuse the water with just the right amount of lightning... it becomes a high B, to low A-rank? Raiton: Raikou Buretto." A blast of lightning sprang from his hand, charging the roaring dragon with electricity. He reinforced his control over the loose water and grinned at her as the lightning in the water on the ground reached near her. Are you worthy of it?

she smirked evily behind her mask.
"you're right hun, i CAN'T take full controle of your dragon, but i CAN take controle of PART of your dragon." she moved her hands swiftly, soon a column of water to come off the dragon at him. "drop your attack now or it will come to attack you as well."
she was true to her word too. the moment that the dragon would attack her, would be the moment the water projectile would attack him, causing his attack to come back to bite him in the butt. she was no fool, and should never be underesemated. she was strong willed and smart, a deadly combonation on the battle feild. she could take the attack herself and still function simply from knowing it would effect her nervous system. if that happened it would only take a short amount of time to figure out what moved what and how to reboot the electrical current to make her nerves work propperly again.
"last warning, call your dragon off." she warned, clearly more than willing to not only take the attack but turn it against him as well.

Respect gets you a lot in this world... Shaking his head slightly, he unleashed the dragon, causing it to roar down at the girl. His hands flew in a chain of seals as the water spout, still tinged with electricity, shot at him.
"Fuuton: Renkuudan!" A massive bullet of air shot out of his mouth, dispersing the water projectile. He turned and blasted another Renkuudan at her, taking advantage of the fact that not only was she being shocked by the water channeled electricity blast from earlier, but also that she would have to dodge the electric charged Suiryuudan.
"Though I take pride in the fact that a beautiful young lass such as youself is calling me hun, that won't make me go easy." He spoke conversationally as his attacks rushed at her. Are you worthy of it?

'i'm a healer....'
Deza knew she could block one but she'd have to take the other one full force. so she took the dragon and blocked the other. how? simple. her only defencive jutsu in her arsonel. she moved her hands last minute and just befor the dragon struck...
"Water Encampment Wall!" it was simple and easy. she blew a stream of water from her mouth, cutting it off, and then blocked one attack while taking the other at full force, moving her hands up to great it in her arms rather than a more vital part of her body say her back or head. this would still channel it through out her body, but lessen the attack through out her more vital body parts.
she did not scream, she did not show any from of pain, but it hurt none the less, as she fell to her knees. she would be unable to move for a few moments, just untill she figured out what moved what, and untill she could fix her nerves, her reflexes would slow greatly. "don't take pride. anyone i see as my equal or lesser i call anything from hun, dear, lovlie, or love. get used to it."
there was hardly any sign of pain in her voice only distraction, because she was distracted, distracted on figuring out how to work her limbs again. it wouldn't take her long though.

Respect gets you a lot in this world... "Ah, had to go and spoil my hopes didn't you lass? Ah well." Edward sighed sadly, knowing that his opponent would recover quickly. He set up another chain of seals.
"Suiton: Suigudan no Jutsu!" Around Deza, water arced up as the Water Fangs shot towards her, attacking from all around. Edward quickly shot a Fuuton: Mujin Saijin Daitoppa at her after the water attacks. This second, different wind jutsu was much wider, and the limited space of the dojo meant that the only place safe from the powerful wind jutsu was behind him. Following up his Wind Jutsu, the former Kage unleashed another Lightning Blast, discreetly sending an Ectoplasm Bolt in the wake of the Lightning attack. The attack from four different elemental affinities would surely tax the girl greatly, and if even one attack hit, she would take a good deal of damage. Are you worthy of it?

{{no, she cut it off after it blocked the attack imidiately so that it wouldn't travel and add onto the attack, causing it to fall after it blocked shortly, so the dragon hit her but the other did not.}}

Deza worked quickly to move again, and when she did the timing couldn't have been better. she took controle of one water fang, and despersed it, as she created hand seals and seemingly vanished with in the water droplets. in an instant she was behind him she attacked with her staff, aiming for his side. i simple body flicker was all it took for her to seeming vanish and then reapear.
"step one, don't underestemate your opponet. don't be flashy with your attacks as well. get in get done and get out before you're even seen. basic shinobi skills." that was all she said before aiming a nice hard hit to his back which would be fallowed up by another body flicker and a hard kick to his stomache, she would continue a barage of hard head on attacks with out giving him the chance to recover, however her first five would be slowed a bit, but as she would regain controle she would increase her speed by three.

Respect gets you a lot in this world... An inky darkness shot out from the neck of Edward's coat, wrapping around the staff as it swung in at him, holding it in place as the man spun around and launched one hand, holding a burning sword in it, at her hip.
"Indeed. Step two is consequently this: Know thy enemy." He grinned savagely as Gantoy held the staff in place for him. His second hand began glowing with energy, before another Ectoplasm Bolt shot at her from close range. With Gantoy holding on to her staff with the strength of a Kage, she would either have to let go, or be struck by one of the burning weapons, even if she did manage to block one, they were attacking from completely different angles. Are you worthy of it?
