kai laid her head back also bord so easily she had to wait to practice ont he dead head of a old akatuki member called 'blue' and might not even get to keep it then she would have to find another dead human to practice on with her medical justu or clan

Selene entered the meeting room, her cloak strung across her shoulder. She walked over to her seat and sat down, examining the new members. "Welcome, new and old members. I will be now arranging the teams, and you will respect them." Her words left no room for negotiation. "Kai and myself will be partners. Which leaves Sai and Death on a team. Sai will be the leader, and so am I"

Selene nodded her head, sending a stream of constant vibrations out to examine the 3D map. Konaha had a large X on it, symbolizing its defeat. The Shukaku was sealed, and the Nekomata was next. "You and I will search The Hidden Mist Village." The Mist Village held a spot in her heart, and from what she heard, the Mizukage had killed her member, though she had planned to it was an act of stealing what was rightfully her duty.

Selene stared at Kai. "We are going to mist...As for you Death, you and Sai shall head over to Cloud and scout out the area. From what I remember, the deceased Hokage told me the Nekomata host resides in Cloud." Selene examined the scroll, leaving it on the table for another time.

Selene rose, motioning for Kai to follow. "You will follow my lead, and speak only if I say. Do not venture from me, or you may die." She headed off to the entrance, throwing her cloak over her shoulders.

 Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninSai knew that Death had not followed him in, otherwise he would have heard the footsteps. Instead he simply walked to the meeting room, his lightly placed assassin's footsteps creating no noise as he walked through the silent cave corridors. Stepping out into the meeting room, Sai moved to his chair and saw the scroll he had placed there long ago, the one with the previous Hokage's body still within it. Taking the scroll and placing it on the table, Sai took his seat and released the body from the scroll as it appeared, headless on the table before him.
With a few quick hand seals Sai began to hover his hand over the body as droplets of water began rising up off of the body as his hand began to shake, collecting the bits of water slowly as they absorbed into his skin. slowly he came to know all the secrets the body had to offer...special abilities, talents, and jutsu known. As he absorbed the body one ability in particular stood out to him as he focused on it, absorbing her experiences into his own, as he learned the technique in seconds, absorbing her own memories of practice and the hard hours dedicated to perfecting the jutsu. [Jutsu Learned : Doton: Iwa Finaru (Earth Release: Rock finale)]
After that, nothing else came... no custom techniques, no bloodline info, or really anything of use. "Hmmmph, at least she was good for one thing..." After another minute or so, the body was gone, leaving no trace of the former Kage behind. Sai rolled the used scroll up and placed it in a holder on the side of his seat. he then took out a blank scroll and began to write down mission details to give to Selene for her filing pleasure. "You can never know my pain..."
