"Does Rhea deage as well?" he asks out of curiosity. "Might be a bit hard on her kids iffin she does." He looks down at what Kero is reading and begins to skim along, tracing amilessly on the desktop with his fingertip as he reads. Ever so often the aimless tracings glow and flicker, then quickly fade, but he is so caught up in his reading he doesn't see this.
"This stuff is really interesting. Really useful, too... isn't it?" he asks after a bit looking up to see Kero staring at him. "Ummm, have I got egg on my face or did I forget and put my shirt on backwards again?"

**Okay...does Pasa wear human clothing, or something else?**
*Kero shakes his head*
Nah...just wondering how you made your tracings glow like that...and yeah, Rhea deages too...not as often as I do...the more powerful you are, the more often it happens...and I am the strongest Voidmage alive...

**kind of... loose tunics and kilts for fancy wear... loose trousers and vests for everyday... no buttons... everything wraps or ties...**
"Glow? Make what glow? Yer the mage here, mes'sirrah, not me." laughs the serpentine merrily. He taps the book and smiles widely. "Ye know... this magic is the first magic that makes sense to me... ever changing... never static... I like that concept."

**Gotcha...makes sense now...are they as concerned about privacy as humans? Clothing seems to suggest that**
*Kero smiles*
Water magic is a potent magic, in that it cannot be blocked...no magic wrought by another elemental mage can keep a watermage from entering their spellweaves...I can do it, but only because of my magic's ability to devour other magics...and like it or not, Pasa...you were making your tracings glow
**He's a Watermage, isn't he?**

**a tad bit on the privacy end... but more for show... his people wear or don't wear garments as the need fits... and as for being a water mage.. we will just have to see...l water magic and mind magic go hand in hand, ye know... nothing is more fluid than the mind**
The boy nods. "Makes sense, water touches so many levels of so many things..." He looks up and grins. "It's fun to play with.... to make it move like you want it too... have you ever tried it?"

Yep...a little bit...Watermagic has never been my strong point...nope...not one bit...now, how goes the math?

The boy groans. "Rhea is going to give me extra tutoring, does that say anything?" The he smiles, "But Terran said he'd help and Luna said she'd make sure I did all of my assignments. Kero tried to sneak me a calculator... whatever that is and got in trouble."

*Kero shrugs*
He shouldn't cheat...calculators aren't allowed in here until you know your basic mathematical facts...*Looks at him*...and I won't tell you what they are until then...don't want to tempt you...

Passura stares at him. "Mes'sirrah... I would never cheat!" he cries in alarm, then he giggles. "Twist the rules a bit if I need to, but cheat, never... but ye taught me how to do that."

Very good...now, let's go home...before Rhea sees what I did to the board...*Darts out...very quickly...when Pasa looks, he sees a funny picture of Rhea scrawled on the chalkboard*
**Question...does Pasa know about the colloquial birds and bees**

gonk gonk gonk yer not going to warp the little twerp's mind now are ye?**
Passura gathers his books and supplies together, then seeing the book on water magic still sitting open on the desk he picks it up. Going to Rhea, he asks if he can take a book home from the classroom to read.

**No...No...you wound me with your suspicions...I just want to know if Kero has to explain them sometime, or if he already knows...**
*Rhea nods*
Of course you can...just make sure you return it when you're through with it...and if it contains spells, no working them without adult supervision.

The boy nods, wondering how he is to know what a skill and what a spell is. Some of the stuff in the book he already knows how to do. He slips it into his carry bag and follows Kerobian out of the classroom, deep in thought.
**total innocent... he knows his people's females bear eggs... that's about it... how they get those eggs well... he's got a suspicion or two, he is ten years old after all...**

**Southern feline nods...lessoning might make good joke/father-son moment in future**
*Kero has already moved on, and when Pasa gets to his room, and opens the book, he finds it is explicit instructions...mind-magic that boggles him in complexity and usefulness...spells that allow one to control water....to command fish...even to ride a shark....water magic laid out, with instructions on how to do it*

Controlling water, he's done. That was how Bez and Emnast managed to channel the water up to Em's pool so easily. But the rest of the book is so intriguing he finds himself absorbing it word for word. (photographic memory... people... he's been trained by the wiseman to do this... only with rituals and formulas... nothing written down)
In fact he is so caught up in the book, he completely forgets about dinner or going to bed.
