last movie I saw fully was Sky Captain and the World of Tommorow. It was surprisingly good to me. One movie I want to see when it comes out soon is Suspect zero. that looked really good.

I recently saw 'La Cage aux Folles' and 'Birdcage.' I thought the original (La Cage aux Folles) was a bit funnier than 'Birdcage.' Probably because I saw the original the day before I saw 'Birdcage'. . . anyway I liked both Albert and Albin the same, they were so funny. X3 But the son was evil. He told Albert to go away! Ungrateful jerk . . .
As for movies that came out recently I saw 'Robots'. It was very amusing. Oh, and I just remembered, I saw 'Monty Python and The Holy Grail' ( yet again ) in World Cultures, because we're studying the middle ages. One of the funniest movies ever. God I love my World Cultures teacher.
I also just saw 'The Producers' for the second time. I heart that movie. Anything Mel Gibson has to do with is always good. whee

Flight plan is an awesome movie and I think my favorite. I first saw it in movie theaters and I was sitting on the edge of my seat during the whole thing. I can't wait to see it again.
The worst movie that I've seen would have to be The Ring. People said it was scary, but it wasn't. It really wasn't. It was long and boring. My mom fell asleep while watching it with me. She also fell asleep while watching The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, which I thought was an ok movie.
I live far from the city though, so the closest movie theater is like.. 45 minutes away, so I don't get to go out and see much movies. My parents will only rent a movie if they feel like it. If they don't feel like it, then I have to pay myself to rent it, which they know I won't do. stare

Id have to disagree with you on The Ring being the worst movie. Id have to say that it wasn't really marketed as what is was supposed to be. I saw both The Ring and Ringu (the original Japanese movie). Id say that even though The Ring was aimed more as a horror movie, they were both more thrillers then horror movies. However one of the better things about the original was the moments of silents which made it more scary ^_^.

I was expecting to be terrified after watching it, since all my friends were like "HOMG I COULDN'T FINISH WATCHING IT LYKE SCARY OMG!!!". Maybe if knew it was a thriller it would of been different. >.>

Ive been recently getting alot of japanese horror and other movies in my Netflix, and I've notice that their horror is more physiological thriller like which differs from American horror. The Ring was basically, lets take American actors take a Japanese script tweak alittle and then film it. One thing you will notice in Japanese film is they go for the silent treatment instead of the chase and stab. It is a very cool effect, but if your not looking for it and in my opinion you need to be in a dark room, audio up and maybe totally alone for the effect to be truly scary (again in my opinion). For instance if you've seen The Grudge and Ju On they are virtually the same movie just with different actors.
