Ishtar Shakti That sounds good. Some advice about trying to look at things in that zone. Try visiting places that you've never been if your perception isn't perfect I find it best to visit places I've never been because it forces me to not just make up whats going on there. I have found that its easiest to figure out where the doors and windows are in rooms I have never been in. I think it has something to do with fengshui(sp?) But it seems pretty easy to see doors and windows for me even if I can't see the rest of the room. Also things that people touch alot or use alot seem easier for me to see/perceive. When I try to see places I know I just rely on a memory of what the place looks like and just alter my perception to fit the way I think the room should look. Its different for each person though Is this about seeing without looking with your eyes... in the real world? o.o I think my one friend has done that before, I know I have somewhat. Although... in the dark I think I can't see and do just fine with eyes open, but if I close them it's like *bonk*. And -OH MY GOD- only one day left!! gonk

Kajunk I've gotten myself in a continuous rut, I'm going to try something that seems simple but not for me, the power of positive thinking. I always think of the worst possible scenario and I attract a lot of negativity. I just have to train my mind to think differently.
Edit: I'd appreciate it if people start giving me a name for the project and, if you're feeling generous, a brief description, at the very least. The name can be a placeholder, if you'd like.

So what he's looking at when he's astral projecting should be something like a reflection of whats going on here. not exact but there should be an imprint. Things which people use more leave more of an imprint. Thats if I have the theory down right. Its not with your eyes. Your soul is leaving your body. Only one day left?

Ishtar Shakti Obscurus Ishtar Shakti What testing methods are you thinking of using? Based on what I'm reading, the most basic level of projection is into what's known as the "real-time zone". This zone is basically a mirror of the "real world". So in that line of thinking, assuming I can get the hang of this s**t, I was going to try some experiments similar to the remote viewing experiments conducted at Stanford Research Institute all those years ago. Its different for each person though From my reading, projecting somewhere you've never been before has the potential to produce reality fluctuations, which would of course mess with the reliability of my perceptions. I was thinking more like placing a random playing card on top of a wardrobe or inside a lighted box and then looking at it once out of body.

I was off to a bad start today, but yeah, I'm going to try and think positively instead of going straight to negative.
I want to see if it changes anything..
Today some things were out of my hands, my teacher left while I was trying to do a tattoo.. I kind of needed help with it, I spiraled from there.
I'm basically trying to change the way I think and react.

I'll make a thread proper when I have the chance, but I have decided to pursue learning the "nine cuts".
It's a set of nine hand signs in Japanese lore that is said to grant power over what the signs are made over. Figuring that I believe I'm a kitsune inside this -should- be an interesting pursuit.
"Kitsune pursuing nine cuts of Kunji-in", no?

I want to participate, I have to think of something good though. Blind Guardian the 2nd You know, I would do something, only my University has been having me do other things which are apparently more important for the past four years. neutral
And I sympathize to your plight, Blind Guardian, I'm going to be facing something similar for the next 3.6 years myself. You're not getting a winter break or anything?I've started on an experiment and I am doing well to adhere to it. It is simple, but I also enjoy simplicity where I can find it.

This is late, but I will be attempting to do this over break. No idea what to call it, but I plan on attempting to build up better communication with what I fully believe to be a malevolent spirit that has been haunting me for a few years. It has, on occasions, taken limited control of me, but only to talk to people. Through this spirit, I have experienced remote viewing and even mild telepathy. It is my goal to test this over the period of three weeks to see if I can bring it under tighter control or, at the very least, attempt to learn the nature of the beast.
