Mmm....I was thinking about perhaps haveing something on here like book assinments? You know....like, we agree on a book and then as many people as want to read the book by a certain day, and then we all get together on here and chat about it? I don't know, we do that all the time in the library, so I thought it might be something we'd like to do. Anybody else interested? 3nodding

Mmm...buy which book shall we read? Has anyone here read The House of the Scorpion? I forget the author...but it comes highly recomended by one of my pears...I mean peers. >.<

I read a little of the "Vampire Book" it is an Encyclopedia.

*stretches her fingers* I'm reading stuff too. Okay people! First book assinment! sweatdrop I should really come up with a better name for that....
Feb 30th is the due date! The House of the Scorpions is the assinment!!!! Everyone who wants to read it! We'll start disgusing it, and I'm sure it will be great. It's a book with a little of everything for everyone, and a lot for the sci fi buffs in here. I will post reminders every few days to keep it in everyone's head. 3nodding
I encourage everyone to use their local library! If you cannot find it ( I dont have the authore here, sorry. >.<) ask your librarian, it would be in the young adult section, or maybe the adult section. If the librarian says they dont' have it, don't give up! Most librarys can and will order from other librarys if you make a stink. wink But don't get kicked out. It's a pretty big book, so give yourself plent of time, and I really hope you enjoy it! *takes a bow*

dancing_on_hyenas hehe, no not you. but what is this vampire book? encyclopedia on what? Unless I am mistaken, he is talking about Vampire Book: The Encyclopedia of the Undead by J. Gordon Melton. It is the only book that I know of that is actually titled Vampire Book anyway. It is about vampires!
