Lori shrugged. It was worth a try. She fluffed up her bangs momentarily then looked at at James. She wanted to mess with him, after three months of boredom it really couldn't be helped.
"James... How about Jay?"
She stood up and rolled her shoulders stretching. Suddenly she put her hands flat on the table, making a loud sound and leaned forward smiling brightly. The table was not that wide and she was now only a about two feet from him.
"J.C!"
She said a bit of her accent peeking though as she spoke louder with more excitement. No one could understand her thing for nicknames, but she had to have one for everyone she spent time with, and it was a big thing for her. She glanced at Lily when she said something about a gun then back at J.C.
"You've got a gun? Le-me see? Is it a cool one? I don't think that He's kill us Lily, It's not like we're all that scary."

James laughed at what Lily said. "Now, what would make you think I carry a gun? I'm an NSA cryptographer, a desk jockey, basically." he half-lied. That was one part of his job. He was also a field agent at times.
"Nothing I need to shoot, beyond a rabid stapler." he joked, looking over at Lori.

He glared slightly, never really liking nicknames. But something told him she wasn't going to let it go.
"Fine, J.C." he relented, simply because he figured she was the type that would use a nickname regardless. He sat back in his chair a little.
"Again, what makes you two think I carry a gun?" he asked.

...The Thief...

Lori's smile widened and she stepped around the table to stand beside the man looking down at him. She pulled out a chair on his left side and took a seat.
"You look like a man with a gun J.C. I mean if you could see your self right now... the way you hold your self, the way you stick out your chin, and look though your glasses. As if you could kill me with just the movement of your finger... I can tell."
As she had spoken her voice got quieter and lower, her smile faded and she leaned in towards him. It might not have occurred to James but for Lora this was going to be the start of a grand friendship.
"So let me see it. Come on Champ, just whip it out."
Lori blinked and tilted her head to better match the angle of his.

James watched her get up and walk over to him, listening to her speak with a wry grin on his face. Yeah, like he looked like a man with a gun. He looked exactly like what he was: someone that spent most of his time behind a computer monitor.

He chuckled when she asked him to take out his gun. Like he'd do that. He had just cocked it. And there were two of them, and one of him. She could easily try and take it from him, take the safety off, and then escape.
"That sounds quite a bit like sexual innuendo, Miss Lori." James pointed out. Despite that, his musings made him think about something, and he crossed his arms instinctively. She didn't know where his gun was, but he wanted to have his hand close to it so that if she guessed and tried to take it, she wouldn't be able to get it easily.

"Ah yes...but you forget one thing...they wouldn't send a cryptographer to the FBI to be around criminals with out a gun." Lily agreed with Lori. She had a point, he did carry himself in a way that would make him look guilty of carring a gun. She giggled. "Lori...your so interested in this man's gun...if he wishes to keep it hidden...I say let him..." She glared at him though. "Just don't bring it out to shoot and we'll be ok!" Her glare turned into a smile. Yes she could be fickle at times. It was just apart of her nature. "We wouldn't try anything Mr. James. There are too many FBI agents and we are just dainty females." That was one of the reasons that she wasn't taken seriously during the trial. No one thought that she could have taken down two grown and hugemongus men. It was a feat that Lily was proud of.

Lori laughed and put a hand on the man's shoulder.
"In your end oh."
She said smiling and shrugged.
"It's not all my fault. Four months is a long time for me to go without a man to keep me company... And speak for your self Lill. I'm unpredictable. Who knows what I might or might not do... Because I can do anything."
The young woman made a kissing sound and winked at Lily then looked back at J.C. She leaned on the table to face him better and stick out her own chin.
"If you don't want to, You don't have to. But if I find out that it's a cool one and you didn't share. I'll make sure you never find your car keys again. That's what hells really like J.C. every time you walk into a store, every time you put that key into your pocket... or set it down in your house... It will be gone."
Lori was good at threatening people, she liked to be more realistic about her threats though. Who's scared of dieing? Not as many men as you would imagine, what people where really afraid of was loosing important things.

"Good point, Miss Lily." James said, looking over at her. He'd skipped over that detail.
He didn't want to draw it, but there was no harm in letting them know he had one. He looked over at Lori while she spoke to him.

"It's a Sig-Sauer P226, black Nitron-finished frame." he told her. If she was a criminal, one obviously interested in guns, she would understand what he was talking about.
"I won't draw it, so don't even ask. But that's what I carry." he told her, then he laughed.
"Go ahead and take my car keys. I have spares." he told her with a wry grin.
"And then, you can go to jail a second time."

Of course the girl had to go and make this more difficult. Lily was just going to stay out of this. It was all stupid anyway...The girl really couldn't have been serious though...A building full of FBI agents, the girl wouldn't have gotten away if she did anything. Which is one reason that Lily wasn't going to try and get away. Besides this was her ultimate dream. Being an FBI agent. If that's why they were there...Why were they there? She looked up and smiled as she was complemented. "Thank you James!" This guy had no idea. Lily had not only killed a man twice her size, she had also postioned him with out leaving any evidence that she was there or did it other than a black rose with her blood on it. No blood streaks from dragging, it had been hard, but Lily had done it. She wasn't as dainty as she looked.

Angela was riding in her police cruiser when she got a phone call. She picked up the phone and answered it "Hello?"she answered. It was Director Christopher, Angela wondered to herself what he wanted her for. "Yes?...I see, well I just got done with a police errand so I'll be able to come over... Okay, bye". After talking she hung up the phone and drove to the police station, going to the conference room.

Once she arrived she strode to the room with a serious look on her face. When she entered she saw James, Lily and Lora, all talking to each other while waiting. "Well, isn't this going to be great?" she said to herself as she saw the bunch together. She just had to know what Christopher wanted for her and everyone else here.

Lori blinked, she couldn't help but chuckle.
"That's it? What ev, and J.C. Don't call me Miss Lori. Lori is just fine."
She looked over at Lily and saw how happy she was. This must be some kind of great opportunity or something. The girl didn't know she was just trying to wring all the fun out of this she could before she could slip away and get back out there. Prison had almost overtaken her soul, and she knew that she never wanted to go back. While there she had gotten beat up, actually beaten... It would never happen again.
"So you got a family? Wife? Kids?"
She asked the man. Lori already knew a lot about Lily there wasn't much to know, but James was new to her, a new story she had to know.

Something about the two women made him nervous. And to a man who carried a gun, there was no better courage than the feel of it in his hand. That being said, he didn't grab his gun, but he did place two fingers on the handle, feeling the checkered pattern of the grip under his hand.
He looked over at Lori, shaking his head. "Course I got a family, out in Maryland. As for a wife and kids, nope." he said casually. There was no reason for him to not answer, besides, she had no idea if he was lying or not.
And he wasn't, but she didn't know that.

He glanced over at the door when he heard it open. A dark haired woman stepped through the door and mumbled something unintelligible to herself. He could tell instantly from her uniform that she was an on-duty FBI officer. He stood up and saluted her before sitting down again, hands crossed over his chest.

At the mention of family, Lily stood up. "AWWW MAN!!! I forgot to ask Christopher if I could call my brother!" That was just like her to foget about her family. Though her brother was the only real family she had left. Her mother and father had disowned her when she was convicted. Only her younger brother Paul stuck by her side. Though he knew she was guilty, he had grown close to her and didn't want to let her go. She looked over at Angela. "You wouldn't happen to know what Christopher has planned either, would you?" Lily figured that she didn't, but with Chris...there would be no telling...
((Edit: I got to go! I'll be back later! Play nice everyone^^))

Lori looked at the new woman as she spoke something too quiet to hear. She smiled at the woman then looked back at J.C.
"Maryland? I've been there! I lived in Baltimore, little Italy for a month when I was like seventeen. Right after I left New York. It was a great place to be, Where in Maryland are you from?"
Lori didn't have any idea what Chis had planed she had alienated the man for not telling her the truth the first time they meant and now she would not speak to him directly.

Angela looked over to James and nodded once he saluted her, then she turned her attention to Liliy"No, I don't really have any clue about what's going to happen". Christopher didn't really talk all that long on the phone when he called. So she just assumed that he'd come meet them in the conference room and explain. She knew him ever since she became a cop, and that was kind of the man he was.

James frowned at what Angela said. This wasn't good. Not a single person knew what was going on.
He noticed she was armed. That was good. Two armed people, two unarmed criminals. Just in case. He relaxed a little, taking his fingers off his gun's handle, but still kept his arms crossed.

He looked over at Lori when she asked him about where he lived. "Odenton, not far from Fort Meade. Not a bad place for someone interested in the spying game." he said cryptically, as Fort Meade contained the NSA building, his current place of employment. Sure, he wasn't a full blown spy, but as a field agent, he had done some "spy-like" things.
