 Radiance looked at the woman as she disappeared and then looked at the water and the food. First it was the food she ate, then, when the hunger increased, she drank the water, which only made it worse. It looks like no matter how much I try this desire for food and drink will not cease... this will not be pleasant she thought to herself. Then she got up from sitting and started to walk along the path of food that was in front of her. Every time she looked at it she wanted more, but stopped herself every time because she knew that the want would only become even more intense. Instead she decided to ignore the food and just look ahead with other things on her mind.
But then things became a little too personal as she spotted a woman and Zeru kissing each other. The scene utterly twisted her stomach in a knot and she could feel something come up from within her. And to make matters worse the woman was stating that Zeru had had her in the past and that they'd spend their future together. Radiance really wanted to let either her jealously or anger take over, but kept her calm composure. Instead she tried to think if Zeru would do such a thing, considering how he acted before they arrived her. It wouldn't be like Zeru; Zeru wanted to change, be like an angel. This wouldn't have happened, and even if it did he would have told her as a confession.
So the half-demon just strode past the woman and "Zeru" while saying "Really, now? If I remember correctly Zeru wouldn't hide something like this if he wanted to become an angel, he would have made it known to me that he was in love with someone. Besides if that was the real Zeru, then I would have no choice but to accept he was in love with someone else" she said. Then continued to walk into the distance, trying not to look back at that scene, and to keep herself from crying.
((God I'm soooooo sorry, I was going to post but then I got busy and I was waiting for Milynn to pm me back and so forth, hope something interesting will happen smile )

The demon woman who clung to Zeru smirked and followed along with the silent Zeru. "I see you admit defeat very easily.. Do not worry, Zeru will be in pleasurable hands.." the woman smirked and in her tone it could be heard that she was smirking...

Radiance stopped in her tracks as she heard the female demon talk back to her. She knew that they were not real, just like that wasn't the real Zeru. But to hear that she was admitting defeat and easily to add to that made her very irked. She was not one to back down from a fight, especially since she had demon blood a pride for herself. But as she heard this she began to figure out what kind of test this was. It was a test of her own feelings for Zeru, not some 'fall into a trick and you lose' kind of test. Luci is giving her a situation in which what if Zeru was in love with another demon, or if he was being forced to love her. It was obvious to her that if she really was in love with Zeru, then that would mean that she would have to prove it by fighting... or at least trying.
"Demoness of Illusion you may be and Zeru be an illusion as well, but I would like to prove I'm not one who is easily defeated. If motivated enough I can whip you down with no sign of mercy, just like the demon within me" she started to say. Then beneath her breath she said "Bomb Di Wind..." as the pressure of the air changed and combined into a pile of winds in the black of Radiance's hands. then it was released and blown towards the demoness and Zeru as the sand kicked up, clouding the view of Radiance. Then she turned around, wondering if the woman was going to fight back or not.
((well, it's kind of pointless now since I was able to get something going))

The demon woman seemed to disappear in the blast as well as the illusion of Zeru. When Radiance turned around she would notice that she was at the end of her path, feet away from the real Zeru and Diablo who seemed to be asleep, though clearly in a horrible dream from their movements. Luci had her back to Radiance, continuing to watch the battle before the group. "You have realized your first task. Now you must have some food and tea and then rest for your next task.." The food she spoke of were only crackers equivalent to saltine crackers and the tea would taste extremely bitter.

Radiance turned around to see both Diablo and Zeru asleep, both in a nightmare of sorts, while Luci stood with her back turned to them. To her it seemed that the other too were already into their second trial and was targeting their weaknesses. She heard what Luci said and smiled a little as she heard there was some food and tea. Then the smile dissipated as she sat down and looked around to see what she could have to eat. Unfortunately it was only crackers and tea, which weren't of real liking to her but she had to eat what she got. The crackers were... okay though the tea was extremely bitter and hated it very much. She didn't show it at all and just sat there looking to Zeru and Diablo, wondering what kind of things were happening to them in their nightmares.

Zeru's mind, after a little rest, slowly begins to kick back into him. There are several deaths and several Radiance's... in reality ther can only be one Radiance. He sees the nightmare's and begins to realize what they are. Nightmare's. Nothing more. Worst case scenarios intensified by the unconcious and imagination. He began to hear the echo of an old disney movie that he heard while punishing the good children of the world. 'Dream a better dream,' from Sharkboy and Lavagirl, begins to ring through his mind as a bit of his concious slips it's way into imagination. He sees himself rescuing her. Saving Radiance in every situation. He life. Her love for him. His eyes began to tear up, but not from sadness this time. He could see her love, could hold her close...
Diablo, however, unable to use his powers or any other device, finds himself crumbling. Unsatisfactory to Eris. He sees the boredom in her face, the shear disconnection as she waits for something. He feels worse and worse. For once in his life, not wanting sex. His mind not as strong as Zeru's, he's unable to accept that this is just a nightmare. Unable to wish Eris away by calling her just a dream, only a figment of his imagination. Unless he gives up on ever having her.

Radiance watched as the two boys struggled with their mental turmoil and knew that she too was probably be in one as well. But she really only had time to watch them as she got her energy from the bad snacks that were given to her. And as she watched she smiled as she saw Zeru's face go at peace and a tear of happiness ran down his cheek (... did not intend for that to rhyme... -.-'). "Zeru..." was all she could say as she was happy to see him conquer his nightmares of whatever it may be. But poor Diablo was struggling more and more with his and his face seemed that of defeat, which was not very common in the demon. "Diablo, I hope you can pull through like Zeru did..." Radiance said under her breath. She really did hope that her two friends would be successful, even if she was not.
((Finally, someone posted... I was getting a little bored in waiting, but now I'm happy biggrin ))

((Sorry I haven't posted, I really shouldn't be on right now.. The English instructor assigned an overload of homework and 2 essays due tomorrow and other stuff..))
Luci turned to Radiance, "Reaching out to someone without speaking is your next task. There is one other condition, to reach them you can not touch them physically." The extremely bitter tea seemed to have started to give off it's effect on Radiance. If she tried to speak, she would quickly realize she had no voice.

Radiance looked over to Luci and she addressed to her and her next task. But instead of replying back, not a sound came from her mouth since the bitter tea seemed to have dried out her vocal cords and thus could not speak. 'Dammit I knew I shouldn't have drank that damn tea!!' she thought to herself, though it was kind of too late to really curse herself from what she got in. After explaining, though Radiance already had an idea on how to contact Diablo and/or Zeru. She looked to the fire demon and seeing that he needed some help decided to try to talk to him instead. So she closed her blank crimson eyes and concentrated her mind to go into Diablo's dream. In it she could see that Diablo was sulking because he could not satiate the boredom that came onto Eris' face.
"Diablo... please don't give up just yet, you have yet to realize what this is all about. Search your heart and your soul for the answer you seek in satisfying Eris" she told them. Then Radiance stood there and hoped that maybe Diablo at least heard her and would try to figure out that he was in a dream and not reality.
((Sorry, I didn't mean that you had to post right this second because I was plenty happy with Ninja posting))

Zeru began to not think of saving radiance but merely being with Radiance. All the enemies and deaths seemed to completely fade away. He was left with only Radiance. She happened to be on her knees and he offered her a hand to help lift her up. She gladly took it, his concious slipping in more and more, he just hoped he wouldn't wake before...
She came up to him and he placed his hands gently on her sides, above her hips, and she followed the feeling as she moved close to him. Body-to-body, his arms weaved themselves around the back of her. Wrapping her in his arms. Her arms countered with wrapping around the back of his neck. He felt the dream beginning to unweave to reality though. He could feel his body waking up. No, please not yet, he thought to himself as he looked deep in the dream Radiance's eyes. She smiled as she ganced down to his lips and then back up to his eyes. He couldn't believe it. A kiss.... something he could never ask from, but always wanted from, the real Radiance. He began to slowly move his head towards her, as she mirrored, but with a tilt in her head. And an inch from her lips, where he could practically feel her breath. It all dissipated as his concious brought him to the real world.

Diablo heard the voice, which seemed to almost be out of place in the horrid torture that was happening. My heart and soul say nothing, does your body speak to you? he asked, half jokingly. He didn't understand what she was saying. He had been raised as a full devil. He'd been taught that humans had souls they were supposed to corrupt so that when they died they were able to be tortured in hell. He'd never been told to listen to his own. Far as his heart, all he heard was 'thump, thump'. Didn't really mean anything to him.

"In some ways it does" Radiance answered Diablo's question. "You basically have to realize if this is reality or if this is a dream. Once you distinguish the two, you might be able to end your suffering in this world... if not then you may be doomed to fail this test...". After telling him that Radiance took a breather from the mind entering and came back outside, only to look over to see Zeru awakening. She wondered what he was dreaming about for now he was smiling gently, seeming as in a peaceful dream, but also trying desperately to stay in there. What could possibly be in there to make him want to stay... didn't he want to come back? But the thought was kind of cast aside as she knew that Zeru was going to wake up anyway... and now she had to think of a way to get Diablo to get his act together and pass his test.

Zeru stretched a bit upon returning to the real world. Though he wished the dream would have at least played a little further. He then stood up and walked over to where he saw Radiance. A smile of comfort and peace upon his face. She was here, beside him.... he could do anything.
Diablo heard the voice again... he heard it ring clearly and echo in his mind. Reality or a dream.... He began to remember falling asleep. And the fact the world around him changed from ugly demons to Eris. Such a dramatic shift.... He also recalled the boredom on her face. He hated to dismiss being with her physically as a dream but... maybe he could make it a reality soon. He was seperating dream and reality. Beginning to slowly wake up.... extremely slowly, but he was doing it nonetheless.
