Kristi nearly cried when she heard that familiar, deep, male voice... it was Zeke and he was on her trail now. She had apparently cheated, so that would probably mean that she wasn't going to get any water. She was trying her best to ignore the pain from her ankle and from her upper body. She hadn't been breathing as much as she should have been so she was having chest pains. Great. And the fear just added to her pain. She couldn't keep running like this, she knew that much. She would eventually pass out. That's why she could no longer be on the track team. When she ran too fast for too long, she got light headed and she often times passed out.

Kristi soon came upon a creek. It was in the forest and it was almost a relief. She didn't have any idea how deep the stream was, or how long it ran. She just dove in, hoping for the best. Maybe this would would hide her scent just a little more. Just a few more minutes was all she needed, then, maybe, she could sleep out of the cage for the night. She started to swim under the water, searching for a little bit of mangrove or something that she could hide under in the water. Right before she ran out of breath, she found the little bit of mangrove that she had been looking for. She lifted her head up out of the water under the mangrove and hid the best she could. All the mud and blood was completely washed off of her now.

It reached 35 minutes right before Zeke finally reached the creek. It only took a moment for him to process what had happened. She had realized how he was tracking her. Well, actually that had been obvious, she had been throwing her scent all over the place and had finally decided to rid herself of the smell that had been revealing her location.

"Clever!" He shouted, hoping she would hear him.
"Into the river like a fox fleeing from a dog, hoping to escape being torn into shreds." He laughed. "How appropriate!" Her scent ended at the water just as he had expected. Guess we have to do this the hard way....
"You realize you've been running for 36 minutes don't you? You win water and a night out of the cage." He took this time to bow, just in case she was watching him. "With me as your host." He hoped she would begin to run from her hidden haven, as far away from him as she could, making herself more vulnerable than she could realize, but to his disappointment, that didn't happen.
He straightened his posture as he walked to various areas near the bay where the plants and trees roots were jutting above the water in mangroves. "You need to stop hiding now. I'm beginning to become annoyed..." At that moment he noticed her dark hair mixing in with the shadows from the closest mangrove. He smiled inwardly as he stripped off his shirt and dropped it to the ground. And just when I was about to give up...
He proceeded to dive into the surprisingly cold water and soon caught sight of her legs quickly in the clear water, seeing as he now knew where to look
He swam, under the water quickly and wrapped his hands around her legs, her perfectly frail, tired legs, and pulled her down, underneath the water with him. As soon as her body went under the water he grabbed her throat with his right hand and used his left to grab onto one of the tree's roots.
He kept her under the water, watching her and enjoying the thrill of knowing he could easily cease her life... or be generous and allow her to live and receive her prize.
Looking at her face and noticing she was either going to swallow water, or pass out from lack of air, he pulled them to the surface, then dragged her to and up onto the bay.
He breathed in the air deeply as he watched her catch her breath and he grabbed for his shirt. "I guess you've already gotten your water?" He asked smiling at her. He threw his shirt onto her body, rather than putting it back on. The cool didn't bother him anymore. But humans got sick so easily.

Kristi knew perfectly well that she had stayed out long enough to get both prizes... but would Zeke actually keep his promise? That was the question she had to think about... she never considered Zeke to be a gentleman, or fair. He was also strong enough to either throw her back into the cage or kill her right on the spot. He had also excused her of cheating, even though she didn't mean to. In the end, he could easily claim that he was the winner and there was nothing she could do about it. In a strange way, it kind of reminded her of her parents. She shrugged it off and stopped thinking about it.

For a few minutes, Kristi was completely alone and all was still and silent. Not even the creatures of the forest were making any sound. That was rather odd... Then she heard thud sounds when foot hits solid ground. She froze, knowing exactly who it was before she even looked. She turned and her thoughts were correct, it was Zeke, hunting for her. She wanted to scream and cry in fear... she started to shake, but she stopped herself quickly. That would give away her location... she won the game, didn't she? Why was she so afraid to come out? The truth was, she didn't trust anyone really, especially not Zeke.

Zeke started to speak and Kristi had to put her hand over her mouth to keep herself from making any noise. She peaked through the mangrove to walk him, carefully enough to not be seen. Zeke? As a host? He'd make a terrible one... I'm not coming out to you, buddy... He started walking in her direction and she looked away so he wouldn't see he eyes. The footsteps stopped near her hiding place and she froze. He had probably spotted her hair. She then heard a splashing noise and looked around. Where was he?

All of the suddenly, Kristi felt cold hands around her legs and she was yanked under before she could get another breath of air. She opened her eyes and saw Zeke. His hand moved to her throat as he held her under the water. She started to kick and thrash under the water, but she had very little fight and energy left in her to use. Her eyes started to close, she was going to pass out... but before she could do so, she was thrown onto the bank by Zeke. She coughed as water came out of her mouth. She took in deep breaths of air, just thankful to still be alive. She looked up at Zeke when he spoke and she just wanted to yell at him, but she controlled herself. She needed to save her energy and use it wisely.

Kristi, once again, was cold and shivering. The water had just made things worse for her. Zeke threw his shirt on top of her and she jumped slightly, scared of what he was going to do next. When he did nothing, she looked down at the shirt. She held it up and then looked at Zeke, unsure of what he wanted her to do with it... he probably wanted her to carry it or something. He didn't expect her to wear it, did he? She couldn't put it on over wet, cold clothes, that would just make the shirt wet and cold, which would make her feel worse...

Zeke frowned at her lack of response. He had expected her to either demand the water in anger or quickly curl into his shirt in gratitude. "Humans..." He muttered under his breath as he watched her shiver in the cold. He suddenly felt agitated and offended. Why wasn't she saying thank you? He had been impressed by her run. Everyone else who had agreed to his game just ended up hiding or found looking around like idiots, shouting for someone to help them. She, though, oh she had used her brain and realized she was the only one who was going to help her win.

"Fine!" He exclaimed as he threw his hands into the air. "Be that way!" He pulled himself up into a standing position, for he had been sitting on the bank. "Here." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a silver canteen that was rectangular in shape and had intricate designs running all around the surface.
He held it out to her. "Fill it up with water. I'll either get you more water by myself before I let you out to sleep or take you with me to get it before bed. It depends."

The reason upon which it depended was on whether he could track out a human to add to his inventory. Lately he had been getting whiffs of a female in the woods. He had been ignoring it because, well, he was a bit lazy. He didn't feel like getting out and risk the female not being alone and he have to find an excuse for being out int he middle of nowhere and probably end up killing them all anyway. Yeah, too much energy to waste.

He looked at her and decided to address what he knew she must have been thinking this entire time. "I wasn't going to deny you your prize. That's just tasteless." He rolled his eyes and by chance noticed her ankle. He knelt down and carefully placed his fingers around it. "Is that where you cut yourself?" He asked arching an eyebrow. "If it affects your walking I'm sure someone at the cemetery will fix it."

He wrapped his fingers tighter around her ankle, trying to cause discomfort on purpose. "They might ask for a discount on someone though... You'd better be prepared to have a limp for the rest of your life if that's the case. Or pay for it yourself somehow."

He released her ankle and walked over to one of the trees lining to woods and the creek. "Hurry. I don't trust Thalia being alone with my property."

Kristi knew she hadn't responded, but she had perfectly good reasons for not doing so. She had been running for over thirty minutes and had nearly been drowned to death by Zeke... she was also freezing to death. What did he expect from her, she was only human after all. It seemed to irritate him that she didn't say anything, which also irritated her. Did he want her to say, thank you? He nearly killed her! That was taking it way too far.

When Zeke yelled at her, she moved back a little, in fear of what he would do to her. When he handed her the silver canteen, she sighed in relief. He had enough mercy to hand it to her instead of throw it at her. That would have hurt her even more. She nodded at him and took the canteen.

Turns out Zeke wouldn't have taken her prize away at all... she could have trusted him the whole time, but she didn't... or maybe, it was a trick once again. It would have been tasteless? To a creature like Zeke? He seemed to like being cruel to people and causing them pain, and would have been cruel. He was just saying those things to make her feel better about him, so he could crush that feeling later. She had to admit, he had a nice body for being dead.

Zeke bent down and touched her injured ankle... it really wasn't all that bad, it would heal in a week probably. The blood just made it look worse than it was earlier. She tried to back away before he could do any more damage to her ankle, but she froze up. He spoke to her and she looked at him. He was touching her ankle gently, so she got the courage to speak, but only in a slight whisper, "I tripped on a vine that had thrones..."

Kristi smiled when he suggested that someone at the cemetery could fix it, and why not? He had power, didn't he? Then he spoke again, in a way that sounded like he was mocking her. He tightened his grip and she found herself biting her lip to stop from showing how much pain she was in. She was tougher then most people thought or gave her credit for being. When he released her ankle, a sigh of relief escaped her lips.

Kristi stood up slowly and made sure to be careful with her ankle. She walked down to the creek and used the canteen to get water from it. While Zeke had his back turned, she removed her shirt to reveal her bra. She would hang it up to dry. She slipped his shirt on quickly over her body, it felt strangely warm. She removed her pants, so they could dry as well. She then went to Zeke, wearing his shirt over her under garments.

For the first time, Kristi smiled at Zeke... she wasn't sure why she did it, it just felt like the right time to do it. Before she turned away, she whispered, "Thank you..." After all, he gave her the chance to get water and to sleep outside of the cage, and he didn't kill her. Those were decent acts for Zeke. She then turned away and started to walk slowly in the direction he had been turned towards.

The name's Thalia Antoinette Rose, my Darling
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

[ Bahah, you should never trust Thalia with your property. ]

Thalia rolled her eyes at the lame attempt to strike back. An American accent? Really? Mocking Americans wouldn't effect her even if she was alive. She was born in England and lived there for a few years before her family came here. And the fact that it was her American girlfriend that had killed her- She stopped her thoughts quickly with a deep breath. Well, that tone of voice certainly wasn't going to anger her. The memories would.

Mmmm. The girl mentioned peeling skin off of bones. "Ya know dearies, mentioning flesh slowly being torn off of bones - or quickly, however you prefer it - to a Zombie, isn't the smartest thing to do. See I'm hungry enough already. Tempting me .. Now that's just a silly little thing to do. Zeke wouldn't be very happy to know his property's suicidal."

The anger. It flashed in the girls eyes. Her skin seemed to ripple with the overpowering emotion and her glare was fierce. It made Thalia laugh. Mentally of course, she wouldn't want this caged thing to think she was going crazy. No, she laughed in her mind. Humans were slaves to their emotions. Feelings, they override all logic and reason. They are, so adequately put, both a human's greatest strength and greatest weakness.

"Whore myself out?" Thalia's attention was snapped back with that word. her eyes burned furiously as she stepped further towards the cage. "You, a human, is actually saying this to my face. Even though with each generation your amount of clothing decreases." Thalia leaned down so she was face-to-face with Justus, only a few feet between them. "And no thank you, I'm not going to take that as an insult. I only eat women." Just in spite, she winked at the Irish girl before lifting her hand and kissing it, then bringing it down to slam the cage in front of Justus's face with a loud clash! of the metal. "Have fun in your cage." She spat before turning and walking away from the cages, stalking towards the kitchen.

Zekeil grunted at her thanks. He wasn't used to hearing those words.
By choice of course.
He then noticed, as she began to walk ahead of him that she was only wearing his shirt. He couldn't even begin to suppress his smirk. The last time he had ever seen w woman wear only his shirt was the last time he had sex, and allowed the woman to leave without become an after lay snack.

He began to follow her back toward the cages. He followed so close behind her that is she was to stop walking without a warning he would surely knock into her. He leaned in close to her ear as a wicked thought occurred to him. He contemplate the thought as he followed her, quietly.

Finally he was sure of how he wanted to word this, and the effect he wanted to create."You realize, don't you, that if you plan to sleep in that, and only that, I would probably demand something of you." Just to take delight in her reaction, he placed his hand on her shoulder and slowly allowed his thumb to caress the shirt's material. "Are you sure you want to tempt me into playing another game?"

Truth be told, he wasn't just being cruel for amusement. There was honesty in what he was saying. He still felt the erotic kind of hunger from the hunting. All the moving and running was supposed to help satisfy some of it by running it out physically, but a good deal still survived.

"If I felt energetic enough, maybe I'll invite Justus, or Thalia..." Now that part, was just to piss her off or scare her. Whichever.

He looked up from her and noticed they were already almost half way home. Surprising. He thought they had gone further, but no. Perhaps it only felt so far because for the most part he had been running in circles.

Spin me round again and rub my eyes

Justus raised an eyebrow condescendingly as Thalia spoke. Apparently she didn't realize just how ridiculous her sense of pride was. As if living off of humans made her worth higher? Please. We bury are dead for a reason.

Justus grimaced as Thalia spoke of only eating women and proceeded to wink at her. If it wasn't for the crazy prideful b***h thing, she would be pretty.
Oh, and the tingling disgust at the feeling of necrophilia kept her from being able to even look at her as if she was another human.

When she finally left, Justus looked around at the now empty area. Her mood was settling now that the zombies were gone. She found it easier to be calm when she was alone. A couple moments passed and she began to become bored. She looked up to the roof of her cage and considered etching in "I was here". Her eyebrows furrowed. There were tons of 'I's. But what should she use? The name she went by, Justus, or her birth name, Colleen? She reached out to Zeke's jacket and fiddled in his pocket until she felt something sharp p***k her finger. She wrapped her hand around the cool metal and pulled out the object. It was a razor... a razor which was bloody.
She quickly dropped it in disgust. There was no telling whose blood that had been.

This can't be happening

Kristi felt how close Zeke was to her... there was no way possible that she couldn't have noticed. His presence was always so clear to her, even if she didn't see him. She sighed, no wanting to thinking about it. The last time she was in a man's shirt was with her ex-boyfriend, Kyle. She had fallen into his swimming pool after a party and he had brought her inside. He gave her his shirt so she could stay warm. Once they were alone though, he turned out to be a jerk. He forced her to have sex with him and then never saw her again. That was a part of her life she had tried to block out...

Zeke was so close now that Kristi could feel his breath on her neck. Every hair on the back of her neck stood up and she started to shake slightly... what was he thinking of doing to her now. He started to speak and she tried her best to ignore him. She had just about enough of him and his silly little games. She was tried of it. When he caressed her shoulder, that was the last straw.

Kristi turned to face him and then crossed her arms, hearing him speak. She closed her eyes, she had to shut him out before she got angrier. When he mentioned the part about involving Justus or Thalia, her eyes flashed open. She grabbed his hand and pulled it off her shoulder, "First off, don't touch me like that... Ever! I'm a woman, not your sex toy. Second, don't even think of involving Justus or Thalia. I'm not a slut! Third off, I'm freezing and my clothes are wet. Your shirt is all I can wear that wouldn't make me sick... I'm tired of your stupid little games, I just can't take it anymore!"

Kristi put her hand over her mouth, what did she do? She got angry and spoke back to Zeke, her master and a creature that was far stronger and more powerful than her. She closed her eyes, knowing he would be furious with her. She had to apologize, no matter how bad it made her feel to do so... She took a deep breath and after a minute, she spoke in a whisper, "Sorry..."

Joshua

He knew how Anne felt about children. Well, not so much knew. More like guessed. But, come on, he was twenty years old. He wasn't an idiot, and he knew what women wanted. Not in that way- well yeah, of course in that way too. He was too experienced t not know that of all things. but that wasn't the point of his current rant. He knew what women wanted most: children. And that included teenagers. they all wanted children. something about little baby-doll size humans that could barely hold themselves up just melted women into a puddle of drool. And considering it was a baby they were fawning over, there was already a lot of drool to begin with. He didn't' have anything against children. Babies were adorable, and he even went goo-goo over them a time or two. but he wasn't a woman. He had no maternal instinct to make him want a baby- no urge to hold one in his arms. Anne was, no matter what creature she had chosen to become. Even Thalia had them.

So, when she spoke of taking a child slave it didn't surprise him. His first thought was .. Bad. Taking a child who had nothing, a tormented child when you consider the fact that it's a slave, and thrusting it into the life as her child until it dies. And it would die. the child would be human, and with Anne's immortality, Joshua didn't see how that relationship could work for very long. on the contrary though, it was a sweet action. Taking a thing that has nothing and sheltering it with her otherwise-useless femininity

"I know what you mean .." His voice faltered as he looked up at her, taking her hand with his tiny fingers and holding it tight. He knew exactly what she meant. That gap that never ceased to follow him as he wandered through the streets, feeding on emotions. The loneliness that came with the territory of being a child for eternity. There was another ghost, but he had never actually spoke to her. not long enough to make a friend anyway.

A couple passed by them, the woman sobbing into the man's jacket as he held her awkwardly in some sort of hug, making shushing sounds as they walked. the couple was far enough away to not cross the cemetery, but close enough for Josh to pick up. within a moment the air shivered, swallowing up the child and regurgitating a handsome twenty year old man.

He squeezed Anne's hand before releasing it, a smile starting to play on his face as he shoved his hands deep in his pockets. "The loneliness can fade with the right company, if only for awhile."

"Here you are, down on your knees again."
"Trying to find air, to breathe again."

"I love the way that your heart breaks."

Adriana Eva Cruz- Vampire, 22/110
User ImageThere was a flash of light, a p***k on her throat, and the pain was gone. The virus that had infested the young woman's body, seemed to dissipate out of her, and into the air. She was no longer laying down on a dirty, make-shift bed either. The place was not humid and full of the scent of sea water. Opening amber brown eyes, Adriana, a then 22 year-old woman who lived on the shore of a remote village in some place ever she did not know, found herself somewhere that was not home.

Was it all a dream? The vision she had of her illness, taking her, sufffocating her lungs and making her choke on her own blood. As hot sweat poured down her cold, dead body, against pale skin, her breath was once sharp, and weak. It stung like a knife that kept jabbing it's self in and out of her chest. And just when she thought she could take no more, there was a woman. Though this woman was different from Adriana, in that Adriana's hair was a mixture of brown and black and she was a bit petite for her age. The woman, or angel perhaps, spoke to her in her dream, in a field of grass and marigold, with a rainbow over head, about her life. About how it was time for Adriana to move on and how she no had three choice to make.

Since it was all a dream -or so she thought- Adriana decided to play along. A ghost? Certainly not. Her people had told stories of the spirits coming at someone's death to haunt and torture the person into the afterlife. She would never want to become that childhood nightmare. A zombie? What, pray-tell, would convince her to become a zombie? A non-existing body that fed off of the flesh and beating hearts of other normal human beings. No.

But a vampire?

Would being a vampire be so bad? The ability to live amoungst the living, to live an almost normal life without being so entirely different, seemed much more appealing than a ghost child or a vampire. So, in her dream -for she thought, all this time, that it was a dream, that surely, she was still laying on the straw and mud bed, in pain waiting for a true death to come- she chose vampire.

That's when the flash of light occured.

When her eyes opened, Adriana felt a relief. She could breathe easy again, her body seemed back to normal.
Maybe my fever broke... she thought, as she relized now that she was standing. Blinking her eyes, it took a moment for her to realize that she was not in her natural surroundings. Gone were the ocean waves that beat against hot stones and white colored sand. Now, she stood in a cemetery of sorts, the area cold and dead. Mist covered her feet, but she did not shiver. Surely it was cold in this place, especially without something to cover her feet. But still, she felt as warm as ever.

That was at least, a hundred years ago, more or less. Now, in modern times, Adriana was still twenty two. Or at least, she appeared to be. Sitting in the branches of a tall tree, in the centre of the cemetery were she was re-born, brown and black strands of hair were askew, her glowing amber eyes steady, intent on something moving on the ground below. What was this? Running through her home, was a boy, not much younger than she. Such a fresh body he did have...

Hm...

Saliva fileld her mouth, and she licked her lips. Then, she was gone.

There was a soft thump, in front of Caleb's path where he was headed, and a pair of glowing eyes appeared from the shadows, before Adriana herself stepped out into view.
"Why how lovely..." She said, her voice heavy with an accent that may have been latin. "... for dinner to come so eagerly into my grasp." There was a smirk on her face as she looked the boy over. She had gone hungry ever since her last toy had died on her. It turned out that little Fabian's body was too small for her to drink as much blood as she would have wanted. She tossed his dead corpse to her neighbor zombies months ago. Ah, but here, was a fine young man, in both face and phyisque, that may be able to satisfy her needs for a good amount of time.

"Only surrender will help you now."
"I love you, please see and believe again."

"I love that you're never satisfied."

Zeke's eyes widened and he raised his eyebrows as she told him off. How angry... How disrespectful. She should have been happy that was the only thing he said. He could have just stripped and ate her body just then at the creek. Did she forget that? Did she forget that she was only alive because he had been restraining himself? Maybe it had been a wasted kindness. "Well..." Was all he said after she ceased her tangent.

He stared at her as she covered her mouth. So she realizes she's just ******** herself in a major way...

Zeke closed his eyes and nodded calmly as she apologized. Oh, of course she's sorry. They always say sorry when they realize...
Zeke opened his eyes and just gazed at her with a measuring look. He folded his arms over his chest and looked down at his feet, shuffling them for moment to kick at a stick. When he raised his eyes back to her face he sighed and unfolded one hand, holding it in the air with it's elbow propped on his still folded arm. and clicked his nails together. "Being a slut has nothing to do with sex, Miss Bell." He reached out with the same hand and gently played with a lock of her wet hair for a moment. Feeling the silk slide against his fingers. "And you are nowhere near as sorry as you're going to be."

He kept his hand still for a moment, in her hair.
The he suddenly pulled her hair toward him, jerking her to him. With his other hand, he grabbed her upper arm and forced her body to slam against his. He glowered down at her. "Remember..." He said in a quiet, low voice. "Every breath you take is only because I'm allowing it. Every bit you drink, comes from me. I can kill you just as easily as break your fingers."

He pulled her hair harder, forcing her to look in his face. "I am stronger and capable of more than you could ever imagine. I've killed and devoured more people than you could ever remember the names of."

He let go and threw her towards a tree. "Would you prefer to sleep in the cage? I won't touch you either way, but I know you may have changed your mind..." He stood still, looking at her, awaiting a reply.

"Hold onto chance,
'lest we bleed ourselves"

Carlos Ramon Andres
User Image

"Ah..."

Breathing out a sigh of relief, Carlos crept away from his hiding place as Abra left her apartment. He was afraid that she might not have come out.

Sweeping away strands of black, wild hair, Carlos moved within the silence, making his presence known only to him. Skillfully, he followed Abra down the street, the sun not phasing him for he had just fed the night before last. From behind, Abra surely was a woman, with beautiful brown hair and a body to match. The idea of feasting on her seemed even more tempting now.

Careful, careful...

Carlos, though a vampire, was still new to this way of life. He was hungry all the time, and if any other real humans caught on to his feedings, he would have to surrender his hiding place and go back to the cemetary where he first started his new life. He didn't like it back there. Other vampires, zombies, and ghost children lived there. And honestly, Carlos minded very much if he had to share his pets.

A moment later, after pondering deeply into his thoughts of how exactly he would get his prey, the woman turned down an alley way, dark and empty. Here was his chance.

Moving fast, rapidly, Carlos made his way down the other end of the alley way with a soft woosh. Then, there was another sound, and he was in front of Abra, his throat giving off some kind of vibrating sound as his lips smirked, and his dark eyes seemed to become even darker.

"So, we meet again..."

ANNE MARIE RIEGEL

Oh yea. Are you nervous?
Look, just let this happen...

Anne Marie was comforted in his reply. She squeezed his hand in return when he held her hand. Joshua was a good person... er... ghost. Whatever. But the hand was gone too soon as Joshua became the older man he had trueley grown to become.

She smiled at him. Josh went from adorable to handsome so quickly. She was sure she had seen his true form before but she just couldn't recall the time...

"If only for a while..." She shook her head. "No, that'll never be long enough... Give me a week." She smiled at her small joke the suddenly she became rigid as if she had a delayed realization she began looking around, searching for whatever source Josh had fed from. Her eyes found the source as if they had heat vision embedded. There was a couple. A man comforting a woman. How sad... That definitely didn't help the atmosphere.

"I think I'm happy I've never mourned a person like that." She shrugged her shoulders in a relieved sense. "Everyone I loved had a fulfilling life."

She looked over to Joshua and placed her hand on the side of his face and said jokingly, "Since when did you grow into such a big, handsome man?"

Kristi closed her eyes, she knew she had done a terrible thing. She should have just continued to ignore him and let him have his little bit of fun. He wouldn't have sex with her, she knew that much... she wasn't up to his standards most likely. She never considered herself all that pretty or that much of a catch for any boy. She was just a second choice, in her mind at least. Zeke touched her hair and she shook slightly. She knew he was going to do something, she was expecting it.

As soon as Zeke tightened his grip on Kristi's hair, she closed her eyes, knowing she was about to be in a world of pain. She deserved it, she knew that much... when she said sorry, it was never lightly used. She meant it every time she said it. t was just tasteless to say it if it was just to get you out of trouble.

Kristi was pulled to him with her hair and she bit her lip so she wouldn't make any sound of pain. She didn't need any excuses and she didn't need mercy. She listened to his words and looked deep into his eyes. She nodded the best she could, she understood everything he said. She was lucky to still be alive. When he yanked her hair hard, a yelp of pain escaped her lips.

Kristi as thrown against the tree and she didn't even try to stop it from happening. Her body hit the tree with a thud and she fell to the ground. She started to breath slowly, calming herself. When Zeke asked her the question, only one answer came to her mind. It probably wasn't the best one though, "I'll sleep outside of the cage, if I'm still allowed to do so... sir..." She stood up and lowered her head to the ground, in an almost submissive state.
