Dear Live Journal wanna be...

So we met another wand-owner. Two, in fact! Both were girls, very nice, named Neveah and...Airahka? Something like that. Both had boy wands (for which I'm gratful...Yashi really doesn't seem to like girls too much) - a drow and a wvyren, respectively.

Both were jumpy. Both were a little nervous. Both werein the wand stage... I feel kind of proud, knowing I have the first baby to come by 'natural' means... aka: Not popping out randomly like Kay did.

I'm a b***h. I know.

Iamel's started drawing... It's cute s**t and he's actually really good. I'll sign him up for art classes one of these days... He's almost six months old, too. Scary s**t, isn't it? I think so. Yes, I do. I'm getting too old for this s**t.

....I might be pregnant. I pray the kid is like Yashima... quiet and well behave. I really do.

"Yashi... we can't just keep escaping the house whenever Akuti tries to hold you, you know." His voice was soft, slightly scolding, but far from angry. The fiercely pierced man was carting his silent son through the roads of the area, bouncing the little fox-kit on his hip.

Yashima, typically, kept silent, wide golden eyes scanning through the area. He could... He could feel something in the air. Something was different - he could feel it. Patrick, not understanding that his kit was actually thinking instead of just staring at things, continued to talk on about the crazy situation at home.

"I know Akilah bites but just smack him in the head. I know you have the motor skills for that. Lahela... You just have to pinch her beak is all, Yashi! I mean, really... they're easy to deal with. Staring at me won't make me let us leave any sooner."

He was talking to himself, explaining his own reasonings to the air and his own brain, rather then his sons. Yashi just cuddled against him, cheek pressing against the others shoulder. His tail curled a bit, the fluffy black and blue harsh against Patricks white shirt, ears lying flat on his skull.

....it was still a little cold out...

Indubitably
Malum was not a happy camper.

It was chilly, and the boy definately wasn't a fan of the cooler temperatures, a tiny scowl on his deceptively angelic face as he pressed it down further into his blanket, body encased by the babycarrier strapped to a young, redheaded woman's back.

Strapped to her front, however, was a happier, awe-struck little girl. Levis' darker-aligned face was lit with wonder, and she seemed extremely pleased to be able to see her breath when she breathed out, fingers trying to gently hold it.

Indu, the young woman, looked rather nuetral, a bored expression on her face. She wasn't out for a stroll, instead, she was simply trying to get to the autoshop where her bike was. She hated hoofing it.

nozomi_ga_kanau
Patrick hadn't been able to ride his bike since aqquiring his first child, Iamel. He missed it, damnit. But it was at that moment that Yashima chose to make a quiet noise, small, chubby hand reaching out towards the two girls and the angry young boy.

"Gyahaba!" He gabbed out, voice a rare thing for him. Patrick paused, lips twisting slightly into a frown, ruffling at the others hair gently.

"What is it, kit? Something sparkly?" Yashima ignored him, communicating the only way he knew how - making a slight noise and trying to grab at it. Pierced eyebrows arched, body twisting to ... see some lady with twins strapped to her?

He had that contraption! It was nifty.

"It's just some girl, Yashi. You don't like girls?"

"Gyahabababa!"

Indubitably
"Excuse me?"

What a p***k! 'Just some girl!' Indu didn't say THAT kind of s**t when HER kids were interested in something! Actually, she didn't say anything, in all honesty. Because Levis WAS interested. Usually, the slightly grumpy redhead would have just trudged past the man, but noooo, Patrick had to be talking to the boy. And the little boy had cat ears. Gods, did Indu not like those. Still, he was sort of cute. For a baby.

"Relax Lee, it's just some boy!"

Levis wrinkled her nose up at her mother, slightly puzzled, but then turned her green eyes over to Yashima, blowing a puff of white air toward him curiously.

"Oi?"

Malum hated being on the back, but ever since he'd made the mistake of hitting Indu several times in the breasts, he'd been stuck back there. Where he missed most of the action. A little fist came up to strike his adoptive mother's shoulder blade, and she winced a little uncomfortably. He snickered.

"Ahah."

nozomi_ga_kanau
"Excuse what?" The dark man glanced up from his silent son, eyebrows arching easily on that high forehead. "I was talking to Yashi--"

"Gahahababa!" That time..it was almost a shriek from the child, small body twisting violently in Patricks grasp. He gave a business-like yelp of alarm and his arms tightened. Patricks red and black eyes jolted up to the angry redhead, eyes narrowing tightly in his skull. "Boogah!"

"Did you by chance-" He grunted, for Yashima suddenly went still, staring up at the woman in perfect placidity, a sweet little smile curled on his lips, "Happen to stop by a Wande Shoppe?"

Indubitably
The question startled Indu so much that she actually answered it, her snort of laughter wry and self-mocking.

"Stop by? Hah, you mean forced to? Sure. I guess that's what it was. Some freak-woman dumped these brats on me."

Her gaze, however, was on Yashima. Why did he get such a cute, quiet little thing? Sure, Levis was nice, but she came in a double package...

Levis, seeming to consider the term an endearing nickname, gave Patrick a gorgeous, is shy smile, cheeks a little pink, before blowing another white gust at the two males, and pulling her blanket up to cover the lower half of her face, to the bridge of her nose.

Malum was not liking this. A loud warcry from the boy, and both his hands shot up to grip the ends of Indu's short hair, tugging before they slipped off.

"AWWRRAAAAAAAGHH!"

Indu's breath was a sharp gasp, and her red eyes narrowed, hands going back to easily undo the straps holding Malum in, and gripping him by the back off his shirt, pulling him up, out, and to the front of her, like a cat gripping the nape of a kitten's neck.

"MALUM REEVER! Cut that OUT!"

The malicious twinkle in his green eyes said otherwise, and he shot a wicked grin to Levis, before turning that gaze on Yashima.

nozomi_ga_kanau
"...Figures that's what would make Yashima make noise." He snorted, head shaking quickly. "They grew fast, though? They didn't become gusts of colored air?" Patrick was curious and it didn't stop him from smiling back at that adorable little bundle of cuteness.

Yashima just looked amused. There was a BOYCREATURE! FINALLY! A boycreature who wasn't his father or siblings - a boything just like him, just his age! How happy was HE geeking out?!

Silently.
Stoicly.
In his head, of course.

Instead of giggling, the little fox-kit just stared back at Malum, pushing his chubby fist into his mouth to suck and gum at. He didn't look away from the boys stare - the older male met it eye-to-eye, nose crinkling up delicately.

Indubitably
Mal's grin turned to a sneer as his green eyes ran over the other boys small body. He, actually, prefered females, as in his household, they appeared to be both smarter, and stronger. Not that Malum liked anyone. Well, he liked Levis. Sorta. And that Coailiann girl... But still, those were girls.

Indu stepped closer, a frown on her face, until they were only inches apart, thinking over what he said. Gusts of colored air? What kind of crack was THIS dude smoking?

"Ah, no, this is how I got them. Along with this... Wand, thing, I guess."

A glance down showed the wand sticking out of her sidebag, something Levis would never leave the house without. Malum didn't seem to care about it much though.

Levis was the one to giggle aloud, and she reached out to touch Patrick, deciding that Yashima was more interested in her brother. She hadn't seen any adult men before. Big boy.

Oh, Malum reached out to touch too. If you could call letting a fist fly, since they were rather close. It sailed toward Yashima with startling accuracy for a little boy like himself.

nozomi_ga_kanau
"Ooooh.. You've got yourself a Coailiann too then... Usually, they're supposed to become air or something like it and THEN a baby.. Something like that. It's What Yashima did." Patricks free hand waved slightly at that..before moving to tickle at Levis' palm, a grin still on that rather pretty face at that.

"And what's your name, pretty girl? I'm sure Kay's gonna be jealous of having you around~" Okay, so he gets squishy around babies. He had about seven of his own AND he was pregnant!

...yeah, don't ask about that part.

Yashima saw the fist coming. Oh, no, couldn't have that! Violence was a NO NO in his house and it was a NO NO here too! His hand jerked out of his mouth, sticky and damp with baby dribble, flailing at the hand nearing him and gums moving to try and chomp down.

Nonononono!

Indubitably
"Coailiann...? I know that name. Cute little thing. Like yours, there. Yashima, is it?"

She couldn't help it. As a child, and a teen, she'd only seen men abuse things, and guys that were gentle, and liked children always made her happy.

Levis' tinkling laughter lit up the cold, and in contradiction with her more demonic looks, she eyes were bright with good. She knew her own name, but unfortunately, she hadn't yet mastered the use of her tongue.

"Leeee."

At least she could get out the nickname, right?.

"That's Levis, and her brother here is Malum... As you heard."

Indu's gaze flicked down, and she was horrified to see the tiny fist propelling toward the fox-boy, about to reach out and stop him when instead, a tiny hand on his upper arm made his face darken, but the motion halt.

Levis.

She was the quiet one, the gentle one, and Malum seemed to control everything. But when you're not worried about LOOKING like you're in charge, you can actually BE in charge. The little girl was the boss here, even if no one but the twins knew it.

nozomi_ga_kanau
"She's the only girl yashima will ever touch, other then one of his sisters... She's adorable. Learning to talk too." He grinned quickly, glancing up at the woman in question. "Are these two your first sprogglets?"

Yeah. First two. Once you started 'collecting' children in Gaia... You find it hard to stop. He even adopted a lover! Kind of. Sort of. "Levis and Malum.. Yep, this is Yashima. He's a kitsune. What are your kiddlets?"

Yashima scowled at the stopped hand, pushing his fist right back into his mouth... but his tail flicked towards Levis. So. Another good female! He could get used to those... the boys he met seemed to be jerks. "Veeee." He muttered in agreement.

Indubitably
"Sprogglets? Mmmn. Far from it. Gods..."

Indu let out a long sigh, the tall woman's gaze flicking to the ground as she shifted the twins in her arms. She couldn't help but notice how small Patrick was, and that actually made her feel more comfortable. At 6'1" she was a tall girl, and she definately liked that fact. Kept her at more even ground with most men.

"... Far from it. All of them have been accidental, really. I just can't say no to the kids that need a home, a good home. I know what it's like to have a shitty one."

Levis patted her brother's arm one more time, before flicking her warm eyes toward Yashima. He was a pretty thing, and she liked those. And his ears moved funny. Like Ka's, Neme's panther. Only not. Hesitantly, her fingertips reached out toward them, wanting to touch, but extremely shy about it. If he flinched away, the poor girl would probably be crushed.

nozomi_ga_kanau
"How many do you have? I have... eight?" He paused at that, eyebrows knitting together as he counted that in his skull. Slim shoulders rose and fell, red and ebony eyes sliding up, up, up! towards the woman, full lips peeling back into a quiet grin. "And it always happens by accident. Only one of mine hasn't been an accident..."

Even the one inside of him. Oh yeah. Accidents ruled everything.

Her comment about shitty homes made him pause, head tilting up slightly. Unlike most, he had been gifted with parents who gave a damn and raised him right. "I just can't say no to things that need someone."

Yashima just watched her. His eyes flicked, yes, but they moved towards her fingers, rather then away. Pets? Pets were good things. Pets were happy things! Girls - like Kay and Lee? - liked to give pets.

Indubitably
Indu straight up burst into laughter, causing Malum to scowl at her as if she'd been doing drugs. That she'd stolen from him.

"Only eight?! Jeeze, I wish! The Reever clan is gigantic! Kids I got when they were older are already starting subbranches of the family in my house! Luckily, we all work, a lot, so the house is rather huge. There's upwards of 30 underagers in my home, most of which answer to me. Or, are supposed to... "

Indu also had a pair of her own twins, that were VERY accidental. Who expected another GIRL to get you pregnant?! Hah. Certainly not anyone who's ever learned ANYTHING about reproduction.

Levis' continued her fingers' slow journey across the small space between their parents, and let them brush against his ears lightly, the feeling of the fur making her eyes light up, and a smile grow on her slightly colored cheeks. Unlike most children, that could pet too hard, Levis was always gentle, and the strokes she applied to Yashima's head and ears were light, affectionate touches. He had more hair than Malum did, and it was nice to play with.

Oh hell no. Mal was not into this. Uh-uh, no way. That Yashima-thing was going to regret this. Oh yeah, he was. Little Malum's green eyes were dark with fury and... Hate?

nozomi_ga_kanau
"Thirty?"

Oh, THAT made the scientest gawk. He could hardly handle the eight he had..the eight psycho ones... the one growing in him..god, it hurt his head SO MUCH. That head was shaken thusly, nose crinkling up slightly. "Thirty... Holy s**t. I couldn't handle thirty.. I have a hard enough time with the eight we have... Yashima is the ONLY sane one, I swear to the gods."

A shudder ran through him at that.

Yashima murred quietly in his pleasure at the pets, skull tilting closer to her fingers. It felt sooooo good. Even Coailiann only patted at it...not...scritched! Didn't touch his eaaaaars and it felt sooooo loooooovely that he was absolutely melting against her and his fathers arm, fingers flexing quietly, tail curling tightly around his ankles. "Gaba..."

Indubitably
Ever hear a pure gasp of joy? No, you haven't, not until you heard the sound that escaped little Levis' throat to find that Yashima enjoyed her touch. She was extremely shy, which coupled with the fact that the few times she put herself out there, she was shunned, had made her reluctant to reach out to others. Other children, that is. She loved adults, since they loved her.

"Shiiiii...!"

The scritching continued, and the little girls' smile grew to a full on beam, her cheerful green eyes dancing upwards to meet Patrick's. He was a nice boycreature. A big one, but a nice one.

Indu colored slightly under her tan, and nodded, answering quietly.

"Yeeeahh, though, the older one's help out, in their own ways, and my sister just moved in with her best friend. ALL the kids listen to Dakota, even Mal."

That was because Dakota Reever was a badass Dhamphir. You don't ******** with that.

Malum took that opportunity to attack his charming sister, sinking what little teeth he had into her shoulder, and causing her to whimper, more out of shock than any pain. How DARE she betray him for the pansy-thing?!

nozomi_ga_kanau
Patrick was concentrating on Indu at that moment - he was distracted! He didn't notice that gleeful expression of the girlchild, eyebrows arching high on his forehead. "The oldest I have looks about...eight. Who knows? Maybe I'll number with you one day."

Yashima continued to purr and wriggle his happy little self against the girl, head pressing closer with a little murmur. Oh, how he loved his pets! While he wasn't a very vocal child - at all - for pets like these he was purring and mewling and urging himself closer.. What a glorious person he's met! A good pettingperson!

...who was just bitten?!

While he only had one or two teeth, that ducked, complacent head jerked upwards, malice in those usually calm golden eyes. What happened next jerked Patrick out of his conversation - Yashima bared his baby-mouth and hissed at the offending male.

Indubitably
Indu also immediantly fell silent, staring slack-jawed at the children between the two adult bodies.

Malum was startled into releasing his sister's shoulder, green eyes narrowing quickly, defensively as he began to growl, barring his own tiny, sparse teeth.

Levis... Didn't know how she felt, exactly. Her fingers were still in Yashima's hair, shoulder damp from her brother's mouth. She felt an urge to protect her twin, an incredibly strong one, but a large chunk of her felt... Good. Perhaps because someone other than her kin wanted to protect HER? That was a rarity...

"Shiii, 'Umm!"

Her gentle, soothing tone stated what she could of both boys' names, and she widened her eyes at them, appealing for a small truce. Perhaps they could stop before something bad happened?

Indu didn't step back, although she wanted to, afraid that it would end up in Yashima's hair getting pulled, and instead raised both brows high.

"... Maybe we should go...? But still... Levis seems to like him. He'd be her first friend, pretty much... Uhm... You willing to exchange contact info...?"

nozomi_ga_kanau
"He..uh..usually doesn't do that. Sorry about that... Yashi! Stop hissing at the ni...at the winged boything." Patricks voice was slow, fingers moving quietly to the fingers grasping his sons hair, tickling gently at Levis' wrist to make her let it go.

"C'mon, baby... Stop being a jerk, ok? Be nice to the other kid." Dark eyes glanced up at Indu, lips quirking into a smile. "Sure I am. Not like you're going to stalk me - my lover is a bit possesive. I have a pen that I can get to but..uh... my son is kind of growling at yours..."

Indeed he was. Yashima, who couldn't bear to see unwarrented pain being caused on an innocent being, h ad shifted from hisses to a matching growl towards the younger boy. Patrick, once the baby wasn't holding his son, took a quick step back. "Clash of interests, prehaps, for them? He seems to dig Levis, though."

Indubitably
"Indeed."

It seemed to be a sufficiant reply for all of his wordy comments, and Indu wriggled Malum into the back carrier, ignoring his feral growls, and strapped him in, before grabbing a pen from her back pocket. Clicking it so the tip was out, she poised it over her palm, ready to write down his info.

"Mmmn, I'll just call, probably when Mal's busy doing something else, and hookup a playdate for them, alright?"

Levis seemed pleased with that, wide green eyes locked on Yashima's slightly larger figure.

nozomi_ga_kanau
"Patrick White, my number is..." And he rattled off his information, pulling out his own pen, scribbling the title 'Twins! One evil, one not so much' on his dark brown palm. "What's the number?"

While they made pleasentries, Yashima stared back at her, his mouth once more occupied by the firm ball of his fist, sucking at it enthusiastically. He liked her a LOT more then he liked the boything.

Indubitably
"Kal--Indu Reever..."

After a brief slip up on her own name, the young woman gave him two of her home's phonelines, seeing as the household was so large that they needed many, and laughed.

"It was nice meeting you, and your 'Sprogglet'... See yah 'round."

Levis bent and wiggled her fingers in a tiny wave as Indu backed up a few steps before turning and heading quickly in the direction of the autoshop.

Great, now she was late for pick-up.

Another day, another meeting, journal.

I think I update this thing way too ******** much but it's not like I have anything else to do, you know? Other kids to talk about, things to think of...when all I really want is a roast beef sandwhich.

....wtf. I know.

But eiter way, Yashima FINALLY met someone from the shop who were his age. AND one of them was a boy! Talk about being excited - yeah. I know. Me too. But the little boy ended up being SATAN. The girl twin was nice (yes. Yes I know. Twins. I know) and Yashima seemed rather pleased to know her - she petted his ears.

He made noise.

Yashi HISSED, journal. He ******** HISSED at this kid, because the brat bit his sister. I swear to god - his little head jerked up, that sweet little smile peeled back to reveal gums and a tooth or two, and he ******** hissed like a goddamn cat.

I was rather proud of him, myself. Because of that hiss, I gave him a piece of candy. He sucked at his honey-coated hand for a while... Yeah. His idea of 'candy' is me dipping his hand into something sweet, preferably honey. I thought it was weird too. Yeah.

Indu - the twins new mum - and I are going to arrange a playdate sometime. For Levis (the girl) and yashima that is... I don't think Malum (the boy) and he should meet again for a while. That would be...not good, I think.

-Patrick.

"Yeah! It's called 'water', Yashi. You need yourself some physical training - you're getting chubby," Said the man who looked so thin he was bordering on anorexic.

Yashima merely gave his adopted father a Look that he would later perfect in life - a droll, unamused expression of 'How ******** stupid are you?'. The child was currently being held by that not too impressive black man, being carted through the gardens.

He remembered being there some time before...when he was smaller. Younger. Less to remember. But this time, he could do things, like hold his head up, like splash his arms--!!

He was a big boy now!

Kyrianna
Ianna was sitting in her hammock, keeping an ever-watchful eye on the splashing Coailiann who was sitting in the center, on a little inflateable chair, floating over the water. Ianna didn't quite trust her without the floating devices - including the floaties on her arms.

"Trick! Yashiiiii!"

That squeel was enough to cause Ianna to fall out of her hammock in surprise, "OW! Coailiann!"

Okay - she hadn't been expecting visitors. Or the loud noise from her daughter.

nozomi_ga_kanau
"What's this? Princess is swimming?" His eyebrows hitched, lips peeling into a grin once more. "Hey there, Ianna. How're you?"

Yashima was more distracted by the squeal, bare arms waving at Coailiann with a little greeting. He was dressed in a sleeveless silken shirt with three frog-ties, on the right side, and his diaper.

Girlthing. Fat? The question was directed to the floaties, a little confused expression to his face, wriggling just slightly.

Kyrianna
Coailiann gave him an indignant look. Fat? I not fat. Air-things. Helps not sink

She nodded her head. How daaare he call her fat! She was pretty, like all princesses should be! Right? Right.

Ianna chuckled softly, "I wonder what Yashi told her to make him earn that look...What brings you here, Patrick, and how are you doing?" she offered him a smile as she crawled back into her hammock.

nozomi_ga_kanau
Not sink...water. Obviously, Yashima hadn't grasped the concept that no, he was NOT Jesus. He didn't sink in bathtub water! It floated around him. Those wide little dishes of gold continued to watch the Princess, even as Patrick moved to sit on the edge of the fountian.

Yashi settled into his fathers waist, leaning over slightly to splash at the water with the edges of his fingers.

"I dunno. He doesn't seem like the most.. slick guy ever." he grinned, shoulders rising in a shrug. Iannas question brought heat to his cheeks and he shrugged once more. "Nothing much. Visiting again? I like to visit... So does Yashi. I'm alright. How're you?"

Kyrianna
Yes. Sink. Coailiann said softly, paddling herself over to Patrick and Yashima happily, "Water good! Come in!" she smiled charmingly at the dark man and light fox.

Ianna snuggled into the netting of the hammock and yawned, "I'm glad you like to visit. Coailiann needs to have human interaction. I'm good, tired...Matilda's been muttering about more wands coming soon, which I really hope is just a feeling and not a reality. Too tired to get more....How's things with Mordread and the rest of the family?"

nozomi_ga_kanau
No sink, He returned stubbornly, wriggling slightly with a quiet noise. Patrick arched his eyebrow at the demand of the little toddler, glancing down at Yashima. The fox met his gaze, nose wrinkling up slightly.

Patrick shrugged, stripping off Yashimas diaper and his shirt. He squeaked as babies were prone to, grabbing his tail and pulling it up between his legs, blocking the baby-goods. His father laughed, tickling at the boys stomach. "You'll be fine, yashi! Just don't pee or anything."

No pee Yashima agreed, nodding firmly at his father, small feet kicking at the water where his father was holding him above it. "Things with Mordread are...good. Really good. Infact, we're stocking up on more kids!"

....he didn't sound very..enthusiastic about that part...

Kyrianna
YES sink Coailiann insisted, just as stubbornly. She knew from experiance and while the fountain usually adjusted based on the need of the user...He -would- sink since SHE was the primary user. And she wanted it deeper so she could float on her floaty-thing.

"Oh? More kids? Where did these pop up from, flowers?" she chuckled softly as she watched the children, "You two are going to need a growing house, seriously...I could talk to Matilda about it, if you'd like..."

It was then that the tone of voice hit her, "Patrick, what's wrong?"

nozomi_ga_kanau
Yashima just kept a tight grip on his tail to gaurd his more softer bits, toes curling, flexing and kicking at the water, secretly delighting in the movements and the noises it made.

Water! The boy gleed, not answering her little mental noise, ears fluffed up and edged foreward. Then he paused, peeking up at her curiously. Met boy!

Patrick shrugged, dipping the estatic fox-baby into the water up to his knees. Amidst Yashimas squeaks of enjoyment, he responded to the older woman, face twisting up slightly. "A peep and another ******** Iamel, actually. He's taken a liking to my woodpecker but..." A shrug once more, "I think I might be pregnant. I'm not sure yet but.."

Kyrianna
Mal? Met too. Hit with apple. Tastes good. Coailiann forgot their little fight, for the moment, and splashed at her friend with the cool water. Coailiann loved water and everything to do with nature, really. And now that she had a friend AND water? She was one happy little princess.

"Even I've taken a liking to your woodpecker, Patrick. He's a sweetheart, when he actually likes you. And...A peep? Huh wait a s--" her eyes widened as she heard the 'p' word, "Pregnant? IS there something you haven't told me, dear one? Last I checked men can't get pregnant...."

That was a shock to the silver-haired woman's system, that was for sure.

nozomi_ga_kanau
Hissed at him. There was a bit of smug joy in that little foxes mind - he was rather proud of his little show of defiance to another being. It was sad that he could be so joyful over showing a bit of his spine.

Leaving one hand to hold his tail up, the other went to splash at the water with a squeak of pleasure. Water!

Patrick smiled bashfully, head ducking slightly to let some hair obscure his face. "Yeah. Turns out my parents have been lying to me about an ancestor that made it very, very possible for me to get pregnant. But since I have so much human and Mordie isnt even full human, it can be doubtful but.."

Kyrianna
"Well, do you have any symptoms, Patrick?" Ianna had never been pregnant - and doubted she ever would, but she DID know the symptoms. She was a book worm, after all.

Good. Bite. Tastes good. Jerk, but I like. Coailiann really did like Malum. For now, anyway. If he pushed her again or made her angry he'd certainly get another apple to the back of the head. She would make sure of that.

A gleeful giggle passed through her and she splashed at him, wobbling a little on the inflatable chair.

nozomi_ga_kanau
"Uhm..." He tapered off for a moment, shrugging a little bit, embaressed. "I've begun craving meat? I haven't eaten it since I was thirteen but...Mordies part white panther I think?"

Another hesitation from the dark man, nose crinkling as he watched the child splash around. "I haven't thrown up or gained weight or anything, though..My nipples hurt, but that's because the ******** BIT them during sex."

Yashima squeaked again with a cheerful little giggle, splashing back at her. He wasn't wobbling, but that tail sure was! Bit sister. Shii hissed.

Kyrianna
"I think you're making excuses over the nipples if it was over a day or two ago that it happened. Any fatigue? Feeling the need to go to the bathroom more than usual?" she raised a brow a little bit, pushing herself to swing between the trees.

It really wasn't any of her business, but Patrick was a friend. And she was concerned over him - especially if he wasn't happy.

Coailiann gave another giggle and reached out to pet his tail gently, fingers slowly rubbing through the blue fur gently - and then she cupped one hand and splashed water ALL over his tail.

nozomi_ga_kanau
"Well, there's METAL going through my nipples. They're always a little sore..specially if it's cool out." He grinned again, shrugigng once more...he found himself doing that more and more. "Yeah, there's fatigue. I have six or something kids to run after and.. I'm always tired. We both are."

His eyebrows knitted up together, shooting Ianna a distressed look. "I don't want to be pregnant, Ianna. I don't think I am.. I mean.. I mean that blood is so diluted that... I just.."

Yashima stared at Coailiann, stared down at his tail... His head rose once more to stare at the girl... And then his eyes filled with tears, shoulders hunching as the now-sopping wet fox kit began to bawl his eyes out.

Kyrianna
Coailiann looked rather surprised at the crying fox and her own green eyes watered, Wha...? She was so confused. Coailiann wasn't supposed to be confused! She was supposed to know everything! All she did was splash his tail...

Ianna laughed softly, "Yeah, you do have your hands full, Patrick, but did you think of what being pregnant really means, my friend? Call me an over-sap romantic, but isn't it just an end result of how much you and Mordread mean to eachother? If you're pregnant it's a part of each of you. Nothing can be more precious than that, can it?"

nozomi_ga_kanau
Yashima continued to bawl, hiccuping and hugging his wet tail closer, breath hitching. T-Taaaaaaaail! He sobbed mentally, petting at the damp, unfluffy fur. U-u-ugllly...n-not...not...not p-pretttttttyyyy...

Yeah. He liked being pretty. ******** you all.

Patrick just shook his head, scowling slightly. "I don't care! I don't want to be pregnant - I'm gay! I'm a man! Biologically, we should NOT have sprogglets!" His voice was a huff, scowling slightly. "I mean.. Mordread's probably gonna be thrilled but how the hell am I going to pop one out?!"

Kyrianna
Ianna rolled her eyes, "C-section, lovvie. And really, what if you are, what are you going to do about it? I hope abortion hasn't even CROSSED your mind, there..."

Coailiann stared at Yashima and splashed him again, Stop, pretty fox. Very pretty. Stop, hurt ears. her hands moved upwards to clamp down, trying to drown out some of the sobs.

nozomi_ga_kanau
His eyes narrowed at that, "I am a scientest. I study life. WHY does everyone automatically assume that I'm looking for a damn abortion?! If I wanted kids to die, I wouldn't have adopted Lehela or Akilah - the most bite-happy spawn I have. Gods. Do I look like the type to scramble up cells in my abdomen and have them sucked out for the pure pleasure of it?!"

Yashima hiccuped and curled himself up into a little ball, hugging his tail close to his chest with a sniffle. N-no! No p-p-pretty! Wet. Ugly! Fl-flat no fluffy! He hiccuped but indeed stopped his tears, simply staring at the sidhe with watery eyes.

Kyrianna
"Moodswing, check...Patrick, calm down, it was a simple question. I wasn't trying to piss you off, jeeze...." Ianna certainly wasn't used to irrational pregnant people. Especially males - but she wouldn't show it, she'd simply give him a forced smile.

Coailiann blinked, Wet. Pretty. No ugly. Pretty. Coailiann just didn't understand why Yashima was so upset over water touching his tail. It looked fine to her, and she was piiiicky.

nozomi_ga_kanau
She got another irritated look from him at that, full lips pressing into a firm line with a grumble. "It's just..that was the first thing Mordread asked me too. Do I seem like the type of person to kill something growing in me? IF I'm pregnant.."

"Fwhat." His voice was a soft sniffle, diminutive and tiny. Flat. His furr was flat. His tail being flat meant it was ugly. Yashima nuzzled into his tail, combing his chubby baby fingers through the slowly fluffing up tail. He squeaked. No flat?

Kyrianna
Girlthing Coailiann teased and simply slipped into the water off her floating device, sinking for a moment before popping back up due to her floaties. Her entire head was dripping and her hair was plastered to her face. Coailiann, instead of whining, beamed, "Pretty Kay?"

Ianna sighed softly, "No, Patrick, but a lot of people aren't that kind of person and do it anyway because it's not the right path for them to have a child. And with, what, eight of yours? I was just asking. I didn't mean offense."

Perhaps she wasn't as good as she thought about talking to people.

nozomi_ga_kanau
Yashima stared at the little wet girl for a long moment, head tilting to the side. Slowly, slowly, he peeled one hand off of his slowly-drying tail, fingers moving to give the top of her head a petpetpet! Never ugly Kay. He didn't know the word 'always' - nothing was 'always'. But Kay? Kay was never ugly. Never never.

The dark man sighed, head shaking. "No, sorry. I'm just being a b***h.. It just pisses me off that the first thing people think is that because it's strange, I'm going to abort the little brat." His nose crinkled, glancing up at her.

"So. I met the destructo-twins. The boy almost whacked Yashi across his pretty little face."

Kyrianna
"Malum's a little trouble maker. Levis is a sweetheart. Coailiann seems to be happy with gnawing on Malum. Not so big on the sharing..." she chose to gloss over the pregnancy topic. It wasn't going anywhere.

Yashi never ugly, too Coailiann promised, her green eyes sparkling as she gave a little bounce in the water the best she could considering she couldn't touch the bottom of the fountain. She had spoiled her nice little dry adventure to prove that point.

Yashi better appriciate that!

nozomi_ga_kanau
He laughed, head shaking slightly with a snicker. "Malum was adorable. Levis... Well-wait! That's what I came here to tell you!" He nodded quickly, twisting closer to her again. "Okay, we know that Yashima usually doesn't like chicks, right? I mean... he even squirms around Coailiann... But Levis, the little sweetiepie? She was totally digging on him and he actually let her pet at his ears."

He beamed at that little compliement, hugging his tail close to himself. That fist was once more shoved into his mouth and sucked upon. See? Kay no sink

Kyrianna
Floaties. Air helps me stay. She WAS right. Yashi would sink - he didn't have the Princess Jasmine-covered floaties around his arms like she did. Yes. Coailiann liked Disney. Go figure.

"Well, that's nice. At least Yashima's getting more friends. Malum and Coailiann and Levis got off to a slightly rough start. But Coailiann ACTUALLY shared her toys with Lee, which really surprised me."

Coailiann was still in the "You touch my s**t and die" stage. Not exactly a fun stage for anyone around her.

nozomi_ga_kanau
No sink, He grumbled stubbornly. Oh, Coailiann was right...but he refused to admit it, Float water. Nod nod nod...and then his head jerked towards his father. Patrick had ceased conversation and was currently holding his abdomen with a queer look on his face.

"I..s**t. I think we better head home, Ianna.." As it was, he was only holding his son up with one hand, as he was clutching his stomach. "I think I need to lie down or...something equally as peaceful."

Daddy?

As always, Kierla attracted several boggling glances from the passerbyers she was passing by - although most of the strange looks were now directed at something else: a bizarre floating lump of pinkish mist, carrying a wand...

But she paid the curious looks no heed, making a beeline for a place where she hoped people who understood her predicament would be: GotP HQ.

Poor Kierla! Patrick had JUST arrived, two seconds before her, to try and show off his newly grown spawn to Ianna and Coailiann. They had yet to show their pretty faces, however.

The dark man was sitting in the backroom, on a couch, with the toddler on his lap. Yashima was holding his wand firmly in that one hand, the other hand tugging gently at patricks labret piercing. "Tousan," He burbled hapily, little pierced ears arched foreward. "Tousan~"

Ahhh. There was someone here, thank the gods. A man, and a child. And a wand.

Eh! Could children be wand guardians? Kierla wondered, not connecting A to B. Or perhaps it was the man who was the guardian, and he was simply letting the child play with it. Kierla herself wouldn't have entrusted such a precious object to anyone, but each to his own...

Shuffling her feet and giving a tiny wave, she put on her best smile (mrff, this was hard stuff!) and called, "Hello there!" The words sounded cheesy coming from her mouth.

Patrick glanced up and he let himself smile up at the girl. Both he and Yashima had a shared disinterest in women but patrick was better at being nice to the females then his son. At that moment, yashima whimpered and shook his wand at the girl.

So far, the only word he knew (or would say outloud) was 'tousan' and he had NO CLUE what that meant. Patrick just stroked at the white and gold hair, grinning at the littler girl still. "Hello there! Wand owner?"

"Yes." Kierla nodded curtly, then attempted an indulgent smile at the kid; her sister had often berated her for making children cry by frowning too much. Weird creatures, those midgets are.

The smile actually came out more like a grimace. No wonder she made little kids cry, especially with those scary eyes.

"So. Ah - are you one too?" Kierla asked, gesturing toward the wand the fox-kid held. "When did you get it?"

"Sure am," He agreed, bouncing the little demon on his knee. It didn't quiet Yashimas whimpering, the small boy clutching his wand to his chest almost protectively. "Sorry about him... he's not a fan of girls."

A sheepish smile and a soothing kiss pressed to Yashimas hair. "Mmm.. I got Yashi back in January? Sometime like that. I'm glad he's a kid now, though, not just a wand."

"Coailiann..." Came Ianna's 'patient' voice. It was the voice she used to sound as if she was being patient rather than about ready to throw an apple at her toddler.

Coailiann was sitting, quite stubbornly, in the middle of the hallway. Her arms were crossed over her chest, her green eyes hard, "NO! NO NO NO!"

The silver haired woman brushed her hand through her hair, clutching at the strands, "Kay, honey, I know you're --" she was cut off by one of the large paintings being thrown from the wall, "******** HELL!"

Coailiann giggled.

"It is fine," Kierla assured him. Children really are strange.

The next second, her eyes widened slightly, and she pointed an almost accusing finger at the whimpering Yashi. "You mean he came from a - "

But her voice was interrupted by Ianna's, and instead of continuing her sentence, she glared at the ghost beside her.
As of now, it was just floating normally - although for some reason, it exuded an air of laughing at its caretaker. Breaking away from Kierla's side, the ghost drifted toward the sounds of things crashing and being thrown.

"KAY!" Yashimas voice was a squeak from his usually silent throat. His body wriggled and writhed on his fathers lap until Patrick, begrudgingly, put him on the ground. Wobbiliy, the little fox used his wand to push himself upright with a squeak.

He wouldn't stay like that for long.

"Yeah - He's from a wand. He's a fox spirit. Hey! Ianna!"

Alert green eyes instantly locked onto the fox kit and she squeeled, pushing herself up on all fours before she managed to crawl to him, a grin on her cute, cherubic face, "SHII!!!" she giggled...then stopped. He was...Bigger than her now?

Her little face fell and she pushed backwards a little bit, staying where she was. She wasn't very happy, and that showed. Normally she would have clung to him.

Ianna chased after her and offered a smile towards Patrick, who had become her best friend - surprisingly enough, "Hey there, hon? How's you, the brood, and the little one not yet arrived?" her silver eyes sparkled, though she showed signs of wear-and-tear.

Things were obviously hectic at the headquarters.

It was then that she noticed Kierla, "Hello there," she said with a small nod of her head. It was rude to forget company!

"A fox spirit. That's...interesting." So! So far, she knew of a phoenix wand, a dryad wand, succubus, Drow...now a fox. And her own was a pegasus. There certainly was a wide variety of souls.

Kierla felt rather self concious, as she watched the others greet each other enthusiastically. It was obvious everyone here knew each other, except for her; no doubt she was rather in the way. So she gave a rather surprised jerk of the neck when addressed. "...hi," she said, nodding back. In a tiny attempt to make conversation, she next nodded at Kay: "And who are you?"

The ghost seemed veeerrry curious about these new people, hovering around them as if trying to find every possible way to annoy them.

"I'd say so." His voice was quiet and amused, eyes slanting down to watch the two toddlers on the floor. "How've you been, Ianna? Rough times here with Princess?"

The dark man swooped down long enough to blow a kiss to the little girl, lips quirking into a smile. "You're not being very good, are you, darling?"

Yashima was as close as he could be to beaming...when Kay stopped. His lower lip poked out into a pout, grip tightening on his wand. No Kay? His mental voice was sad as his knees wobbled once, twice...and ker-plunk! Onto his a**!

"Three more wands, Coailiann still being unable to walk and getting mighty frustrated about it...Malen's little girl Del, plus Kishi and a never ending parade of Sailor Moon. It's starting to wear a little on me..."

You got bigger than me! her voice accused inside the fox-kit's head. It didn't sound happy, either.

Coailiann crossed her arms at him and looked completely sullen. She already couldn't walk and others could, and now she was SMALLER than her best friend? It really was NOT fair.

Ianna looked to Kierla, "That's Coailiann, my daughter."

"I thought Matilda was your daughter?" If this was a cartoon, Kierla would have rotating squirlygigs for eyes. Her common senses simply weren't working today.

Another dreadful thought came to her mind. "Did she..come from a wand too?"

Kierla vaguely heard the man's words, tripping her mind up even more. "Wait. She's a princess...?"

Yeah. Her mind really wasn't working today.

"Kay is MY princess," He corrected, standing smoothly. The child didn't look too happy and Patrick did NOT want apples flung at his head by an irate toddler.

"Ianna, you didn't tell her that these wands turned into KIDS? For shame! I thought better of you!" The dark man was smiling, though, taking one flamingly homosexual hop-skip-and a jump towards Ianna to give her a kiss on the cheek.

"Matilda came from a wand too!"

Yashima wilted on his position on teh floor at his friends anger, hugging his wand closer. ....didn' mean to.

Coailiann broke her attention on Yashi to smile a bit at Patrick before she sighed and lay down on the floor. May as well be smaller, right? She didn't understand why she couldn't stand or walk or why she was the size she was.

Her lower lip stuck out and she hit the floor, "NOFIR"

Ianna winced and leaned into Patrick a bit, "I told her, I don't think she believed me. Coailiann came from a wand, as did Matilda. Kay is a Sidhe," she smiled slightly then gave an exhasperated look towards the tantrum-ready girl.

"I think she's trying to kill me though."

"Of course I believed you," Kierla said stiffly. "But I'm still rather in shock about it..." She added a sheepish laugh at the end, but again it sounded fake and unnatural.

Then her head was back whirling again. "Sidhe...? Bean Sidhe, or just plain Sidhe? What kind of wand did Matilda come from?" GAHTOOMANYQUESTIONS. Kierla knew that someday she would drown in them, and that would be the end of her.

The ghost meanwhile was sulking low to the ground. One with a very good imagination could almost see an absurd pout on where could be a face. Apparently it didn't like to be ignored, for it floated right between of Kay and Yashi, tendrils of smoke wiggling slightly.

No fair.. The little fox agreed tiredly, squeaking when that little wisp went up to his face. Those slanted eyes widened quickly, hand moving to pet gently at that wisp. His hand didn't go threw the fluff, like one would expect, but he kept his pettings soft and gentle, to not disrupt the cloud.

Patrick blinked a little, nose wrinkling. "She's not plain, but she isn't a bean sidhe. I don't think there ARE any banshees, right, Ianna?"

Ianna shook her head, "No, there aren't. And...She's just a Sidhe, though I don't know what rank..I know nothing about her past life, which rather annoys me. Could be the reason she's such a brat...I wouldn't be surprised if she WAS A princess because of her superiority complex..." she gave a weak laugh.

Coailiann glared at her mother and was tempted to send a flying object at her face, but instead looked at Yashi. Hard. She was MAD, Hate it. she whined, ignoring the pink fluff that now had Yashi's attention.

"Ah." What else was there to say? Kierla never had been that great at continuing conversations, only creating random threads of topics that soon died out.

The baby ghost was a little more social, however. It gurgled in a strangely purring fashion when petted, snuggling up to the young boy. It was extremely annoyed at the Sidhe, however; why was she ignoring it? The ghost did a little dance in front of Kay's vision.

Kierla frowned a reprimand at the lump of smoke. "I am sorry that it is bothering you," she apologized to Kay.

Patrick sighed at Kays continuing petulance, nose wrinkling. "First thing first." He swooped down once more, scooping up the girl-child into his thin, but strong, arms, cradling her close adoringly.

"Listen to me, baby girl. I dunno why you're glowering at my fox-kit, but you know he's a sweetheart." A sloppy kiss was pressed to her cheek, "I don't want to have to get rid of him just becuse my favorite princess didn't like him! Forgive the poor little bugger. Lookit him. He's miserable. Do it for your 'Trick."

So he could sweet talk.

Yashima tickled at the little baby ghost, casting a pitiful look at his tousan and the shiny girl. it was sad.

Coailiann seemed to brighten slightly at Patrick and sighed, snuggling into him before sticking her thumb in her mouth. She didn't look at Yashi again - she was still angry. It was a wonder she wasn't angry at Patrick (since he was also taller than her) but maybe she understood they were older.

Yashi was younger than her! THAT was not fair.

Coailiann didn't exactly like the fact she was slower than everyone else.

Of course, she didn't quite understand her powers were more advanced than anyone elses therefore her motorskills had taken a hit.

"I dunno why she's grouchy...but she IS." He grinned and shrugged, hands moving to stroke at Kays hair, nibbling at the little girls cheek teasingly. "Tell us why you're mad at Yashi, baby?"

Yashi whined at the angry gurgle, hand jerking away from that baby ghost, little pale cheeks flushing with frustration. He couldn't do ANYTHING right today, could he??

Coailiann looked at Patrick with the most adoring look EVER, "Big," she muttered, green eyes closing then as she snuggled into the older man, "More big," a deep sigh followed, one eye opening to gaze at her best friend.

Definitely. Not. Fair.

Kierla's heart practically melted at the cutest look on Coailiann's face. Heh. Who knew she'd be such a sucker for puppy-faces.

"Aw, sweetie, don't worry, you'll grow big soon." Kierla never thought she'd ever hear herself say the word 'sweetie', but what could one do against such a sad little face? "I've known people who were small when they were younger but became taller than everyone, later!" Well, that wasn't exactly a lie. It probably could happen, right? And if it made peace between Kay and Yashi, then it didn't hurt.

The ghost, oblivious to Kay's frustration, stared at (or at least faced in the general direction of) Yashi with confusion. Eh?! No more petpets? How sad! It made a gurgling noise again, this time of inquiry.

"Yashi's bigger?" He blinked quietly, laughing before pressing a soft kiss to Kays cheek before rubbing her back and placing the girl onto the ground. "He still adores you, baby. It's not his fault, you know."

The little fox paused, blinking quietly, moving over slowly to give him a quiet pet. ...not mad? The question as said completely in his mind but...he wasn't sure if it was only Kay he could talk to that way or...

The little Sidhe was totally digging the attention, "Small. Lot small. No walk. Sad." she grumbled softly, sniffling and wiping her eyes which seemed to tear up. Kay really was very much a ham, it seemed.

She knew how to milk everything for as much as she possibly could. Besides, she really WAS upset. How could she not be? She was a TODDLER and couldn't even stand on her own yet.

Kierla smiled even more gently, a genuine smile, and awkwardly petted Kay. "Don't worry. You'll be able to do everything Yashi can, soon. Besides...as..." She looked at the man, realizing that they hadn't introduced themselves to each other yet. "...as he said, it's not Yashi's fault."

The ghost certainly jumped. It definetely heard something, however - whether it was Yashi's voice and it simply couldn't understand the words, or whether it was some other noise that had startled it, would have to remain to be seen. But it cuddled against Yashi, making yet another variation of gurgles - this time almost like a contented purr.

"Isn't she adorable?" He grinned goofily when referring to the little sidhe in question, tugging gently at the others silver hair. "My name is Patrick, girlie, either way. Kay here calls me 'Trick'."

Yashi hesitated at the cuddling... so the thing heard him. Awesome! He shifted slightly to nuzzle his nose against the baby ghosr, careful not to inhale too much.

...what kind of high would that be? A baby ghost junkie maybe..

Her green eyes abandoned the two adults and simply looked over to Yashi. So he was already replacing her? She gave a little wiggle in Patrick's arms and whined, reaching out for HER Yashi. No puff of pink smoke was going to take HER Yashi away from her!

EVEN if she was mad at him, she DID adore him! HERS! HERS HERS HERS!

"Shii! SHIII! MINE!"

"Kierla. Pleased to meet you." Her eyes narrowed slightly at 'girlie' - but she didn't comment. Peace had just arrived, no need to make him go home too soon.

At the Sidhe's cry, the ghost shrank away, taking refuge behind Kierla. It peeked fearfully out.

"Oh, you want him now?" Dark eyes rolled, head shaking just slightly with a faint laugh. "Yeah, yeah, Kay..." And so he moved over, placing the little sidhe down near the kitsune and where the baby ghost used to be. "Here."

Yashi just curled back against his wand, hugging it tight with a little whine. She was going to yell some more. No no noooo...No more yelling.

Coailiann moved towards the Kitsune child and hugged him, "Still mad," she muttered, "But love." she nodded her head almost sagely then and nuzzled into his neck, "Still mad." she repeated, though she pat at his head lightly.

After all, he was still hers, right? Right.

Kierla smiled fondly again down at the two, then sighed. "Well, I suppose I should be going..." She reached down and petted the still quaking ghost on the misty head.

The ghost was sulking again. What a selfish little girl, that girl with green eyes was, to steal the nice petting creature from it! But it was too scared to come out.

"You have a spoilt daughter, Ianna." His eyes rolled, standing and glancing at Keirla, lips quirking into a smile. "It was nice meeting you. When your kiddlet sprouts a solid body, we should get together again. Yashi seemed to like it."

Yashima hugged back slowly, whining at the pets and the nuzzle. No mad.. He pouted, glancing up at the ghost. His small hand flexed in a baby wave even as his tail wound around Kays waist

Ianna raised a brow at Patrick, "I don't spoil her, you can bet your a** on that one..." she sighed and rubbed her temples, "I don't know what's gotten into her lately. I think she's frustrated that she can't even stand up yet. She doesn't understand why she's so...different. Therefore, she compensates."

Coailiann sighed and leaned against Yashi, No get it. Slow. she murmured in his mind, her thumb going into her mouth to soothe herself. She understood what Patrick was saying.

But she was so young! And she was...Frustrated and didn't understand. She had a RIGHT to act out!...Right?

Kierla nodded hesitantly. Seemed her kid was the sociable kind? Or maybe Yashi was simply liked by everyone. "Well...I'll see you all later sometime, I suppose! Bye! Come...ghostie-thing." She really had to get some sort of temporary name for the ghost.

The ghost happily returned the wave, then turned to follow Kierla. In a moment, both the woman and the ghost were out the door and out of sight.

It was Iamel this time with Yashima. Patrick was busy and he wanted to get out of the house. The small kitsune was clutching onto his brother, small face buried against his neck and tail around his wrist.

The bird sighed, ducking into the store with a little grumble. "Ianna? Are you in here?" He actually LIKED Ianna...she gave him shiniees.

Of COURSE she was there! She still had two wands to give out and pretty much had to stay in that dusty shoppe. All. The. Time. Coailiann wasn't too happy about it, but currently she was trying to forget where she was by coloring on a large sheet of paper stretched across the floor.

She would have preferred to be coloring on the floor itself but...Ianna wouldn't allow it. Despite how dirty the shoppe was...It was her baby. And her sanity.

After all - it was because of that shoppe that she had her children.

"Oh, Hello Iamel!" she said, looking up boredly from her book, "Patrick around or did you go off by yourself?"

"I wandered off by myself." He shrugged just slightly, still cuddling his little fox baby close. Yashima squeaked at the tightening of the others arms, little body twisting around.

"Kay?" Yashima drawled out softly, head tilting down to peek at the others.

"Shiniee said I could take him here as long as I didn't throw stuff at people."

Coailiann's green eyes lit up and she set her precious crayon down to reach out for the fox child. Her friend was here again! And yes, all was forgiven!...Slightly. For the most part.

She was still a little upset but it seemed like the little golden eyed boy was more important than her crayon. Considering that was the most important thing in her possession at the moment - it was a good sign.

Ianna chuckled softly, "Wanna help me polish some of the wands? They're not as shiny and nice looking as they could be." carefully she marked her place in the book and pushed it aside, tilting her head as she waited for the woodpecker's yay or nay.

Yashima still wasn't too sure how to react to Kay but now that she seemed happy to see him, he was more then happy to give into her whims and to join her. Iamel shifted so he could put the fox-kit next to the sidhe, running a hand through his multi-colored hair.

...and then she asked him to make things shiny. He might not have been a raven or anything attracted to shiniees by breed, but we all know the woodpecker. He loved his sparklies. So those red eyes lit up, and he grinned, hopping a bit on his heels. "Okay! Will any of them come to life?"

The white haired boty rocked a little on his butt to land on his hands and knees, slowly crawling over to kay. No mad?

"Oh, no, these are normal wands. Baubles. Antiques." she smiled warmly and pulled out some polish and two rags before moving out from behind the desk and picking up a few boxes of wands and bringing them over. She then pulled a chair up beside her, "Come here and sit down. When you clean, put just a dab of the polish on the rag and rub up and down carefully across the metal, okay?" she did one to show him and then handed him a rag and offered the wands so he could select one.

Coailiann reached out for Yashi and hugged him, making soft baby sounds. She was happy to have her friend, even if he was bigger than her, "Shii! Missed." she nodded her head and patted his cheeks then, "Lots ."

She really was a cutie. When she wasn't being a brat.

"D'ya think I'll ever have a bunch of brats like Shiniee?" His nose wrinkled in distaste at the thought but Iamel didn't really think he'd be a bad father. He already babysat all of his siblings, allllll of the time!

The rag and the polish was taken, following Iannas instructions exactly. "Cause babies smell bad and Shiniee has catbitch - I don't think I want a catbitch. No one would WANT to be my catbitch 'cause Shiniee says I don't make hte right choices in friends."

Yashi purred quietly, nuzzling into her hand with a soft purr, eyes sliding shut with a quiet trill. "Arigatou.." His voice was a murmur, leaning foreward to wrap his arms around her little shoulders quietly.

Coailiann didn't exactly know what that meant, but she shrugged her little shoulders and closed her eyes, wiggling about to get comfortable against Yashima.

"Language," Ianna reminded idly as she worked on her second artifact, the other finished and set aside in a padded basket. It was currently gleaming in the dim light of the shoppe, "And I don't know. Maybe. If you want them, you can have them. If you don't, you may get stuck with them any way. You never know," she smiled and turned her head to look at him, "I think you'd make a fine parent some day, Iamel. You're responsible - which is nice. Not seen in a lot of kids these days."

Yashima shifted just slightly against her, nuzzling into the sidhe with a soft trill. His tail poofed out, winding around the two of them with a purr.

"Language?" He looked puzzled at that - 'catbitch' wasn't an offensive term to him so much as Mordreads name now. He continued to shine at the wand happily, humming a little tune he'd heard under his breath. "But I'd need a catbitch thing, right? I mean, shiniee had me alone and 'Kuti but t hen Catbitch came and BOOM! We have a FULL house. We had to move! Is that what happens? Because you got Coailiann and then that guy moved in. I can smell him on you."

"Yes, Iamel. 'b***h' isn't exactly good language for you to use. You're still a child," she paused in her working and sighed, "Yes, He had two children of his own. Kishi and Del. But there hasn't been a boom of children and he's been here a while. In fact, Coailiann's the last one we got - and that was WAY before Malen came along," she nodded her head then, giving her wrist a twist to get some grime out of a particularly horrible area.

Coailiann shifted again and giggled, accidently kicking her crayon across the room. That didn't make her happy and she whined softly, carefully untangling herself and crawling towards the crayon.

Her small hand grasped the crayon, unsure how to crawl back carrying it. Her clenched fist would hurt...She gave another whine and rolled herself to the side of the desk, grasping at it with one hand in an attempt to pull herself up.

It worked. She was standing - albeit wobbly, "Shii!" she giggled, little legs wobbling a bit too much before she fell onto her rear.

Instead of crying, her lower lip jutted out. She had wanted to walk, darnit!

"I say it all the time and Mordread doesn't say anything." His lower lip poofed out in a pout as well, but he continued the shining. He'd make that damn thing glisten! It'd be fabulous. "What if you get pregnant? Shiniee's pregnant." He nodded at that, as if it was common knowledge and not odd at all.

Yashi paused, calm golden eyes on his friend. He hesitated and gummed at his wand again. It was bigger now - as big as he was, and strong. That's what HE used to - wait!

The foxkit wriggled himself over, pushing his hand - and wand - towards the sidhe. Take.

"Maybe Mordread's used to it," she shrugged her shoulders and then coughed, "I don't think I'll get pregnant, Iamel. I'm not even sure what Malen is to me, right now we're just...friends." she nodded her head. They'd yet to discuss it and she hadn't seen him much lately. Jobs, she supposed.

Coailiann looked at the wand and took it, pushing it against the ground as she struggled to push her tiny frame up again, wobbling - though not as much now that she had the third 'leg' to use. She smiled a little bit at her friend and gave a little grunt, lifting one leg (and shaking pretty badly) and placing it in front of her other. And then - she repeated it, slowly taking wobbly little steps with the aid of the wand.

"Shii Shii!"

Ianna stopped her working and almost dropped her rag and wand, staring at her little girl, "Kay! You're WALKING!" screw the fact that she was using a cane! SHE WAS WALKING!

"BUt how's it bad?" He was still puzzled and then snorted at that. "Just friends. That's what Shiniee said too. 'He's just my friend, Iamel! He just needs a place to stay! That's all!' And now he has babies growing in him. He throws up a lot. If you start throwing up--"

Yashima beamed at her, little chubby arms waving enthusiastically. She was doing it! She was doing it! He squealed softly, ears foreward and fluffed upwards, cooing under his breath after that squeal.

He was so proud!

"She's walking?" Iamel twisted around and arched an eyebrow. "....they get worse when they learn to walk,y'know."

"I think she'll get better," Ianna laughed, "She was a brat because she couldn't walk and it was frustrating her. She did worse than walking before - she levitated. Could get things higher in the air...Doesn't matter now that she can walk. I expect her temper to wane now..." she blinked and then reached behind her desk - that desk seemed magic -After all, she could just about get anything she wanted by just reaching behind it it - and picked out a plate of cookies.

"I think this deserves some celebration. And you know, Mordread IS Patrick's friend. But things happen." she nodded then and bit into a chocolate chip cookie.

Coailiann beamed at Yashi, bouncing up and down on her feet - and staying up, "I do it!" she giggled childishly and let the wand drop (Thankfully it didn't break). She wobbled a little bit at first before staying still.

"EEEE!! EEEE!!!!"

Obviously she was excited. But to take another step and ruin her glory or not was the question! She decided to throw caution to the wind and took tiny tentative steps. And stayed up.

"He isn't his friend. They're...whatever." He shrugged those little shoulders slightly, lower lip poking into a full-blown boy pout. He didn't like thinking about his shiniee being 'more then friends' with anyone but him. The bird hopped away from the wand he was shining, glittery shoes moving his slim frame to the barely toddling girl.

The cookies? They were ignored. Who gave a damn about cookies when there was a troublemaker at hand??

"You're walking!" Iamel crowed, grinning and reaching out, offering his hands to Coailiann. "This means you can dance with Shiniee! Yashi can't walk yet, even! Goooo Coailiann!" He was cheering her on, like any good big brother would. Kay was, after all...kind of like a little sister.

Yashi was estatic for his older friend, waving his wand in the air. That black and blue tail was poofed up and he bounced on that cute toosh for a moment. "Kaaaaaay! Mmm!" It was as close to his cheering as he could get at this point, giggling madly. What a GOOD thing!

Coailiann giggled childishly, clinging to Iamel's hands to keep from toppling over. She was already teetering dangerously, her young limbs not quite used to all the pressure and weight on them. The little girl's green eyes were sparkling with such light and happiness - and it was quite obvious that her bad moods were a distant speck now.

Well, maybe not so distant. Ianna's head was still kind of pounding from earlier that morning when an apple had been lodged at her.

Speaking of Ianna, her silver eyes were lit with happiness. Three children were currently very happy right in front of her. And that was amazing, "Go Kay!" she joined in the cheering.

Iamel just grinned a little as he moved his hands a little bit, fingers still wiggling. "Maybe you should sit down, Kay. Your legs are getting wobbly." One hand stole down to tickle her behind her knees, laughing once more. "But see? You can walk! It's a good thing today."

Prompt: Yashima is getting bigger every day, and thank the gods for Patrick and Mordread that he's actually quiet, right? Well, what would make him not be quiet? Make him really, truly upset, other than being dirty? And how does Mordread & Patrick handle an upset Yashima?

Iamel grabbed Akilahs soccer ball, growling softly. "It's MINE," The Bird snarled under his breath, fingers tightening in the dead cow hide. Akilah chittered angrily at him, past the knowledge of using words.

How DARE his brother try to take his ball! Iamel claimed it was his but - then the Bird tackled him, amidst the pulling. The two of them tumbled down, squeaking and squalling. There was a mess, a rolling ball of feather and fur, as the older but weaker brother tried to take the ball back from his brother.

Yashi watched it all in silence. He was dressed in a little red yukata for babies, hugging his geisha doll close to his chest. The loudness always disturbed him in the household, but he'd never seen his two siblings fight like that before.

It was... it was scary. They were usually so close and friendly together, the meerkat and the woodpecker. Iamel always took the initiative when it came to his brothers, taking care of them like a mother hen although a little rough under the edges. The fox kit sunk back into himself, arms tightening around his doll.

His eyes were wide and eyebrows were furrowed together, small mouth puckered up into an expression of distaste and fear.

The fighting came closer. Yashima couldn't really move back anymore, pressing back against the counter. His eyebrows knitted up still, breath coming a little faster, a little shallower then before.

It wasn't as if the walls were closing in on him like a vice, but his world zeroed in on his brothers fighting just feet away. Akilah was wearing a red shirt and it flashed like blood in the dim lighting of the house. Iamels bright hair and wings scared him still, jumping, whimpering a little bit.

That's when Akilah flew free of the tangle and straight towards the little fox kit.

he was runningrunningrunning woods cut at his legs and through fur drawing blood and ow owowow it hurt hurt so bad.

the brothers were on his tail hunting him down like a rabid beast. fhe could feel their hot breath on his tails shreds of garments flying in the wind. she she she she sent them they sent them

why!? he did nothing nothing nothing wrong, nothing wrong at all, oh inari save him all he tried to do was help

one leapt and then there was red

The next thing Yashima was aware of was that he was on the floor, geisha doll somewhere else on the floor, and he was screaming. His voice was high pitched, shrieking and flailing, tears running down his cheeks.

Patrick was running towards him, socks skidding on the wooden floor and his two brothers were desperately trying to get the little boy to calm down. Iamel looked panicked while Akilah just appeared to be stunned. Yashima couldn't stop though, he couldn't keep his screaming and flailing muscles to himself.

Baby hands smacked at Iamel and Akilah, pushing at them, forcing them away. The two stumbled back, more then content to let Patrick handle it. Their father crouched down, scooping the sobbing boy up, trying to content him enough to stop the ear-splitting shrieks.

"Baby, baby... sweetheart, no.. Please... Quiet, quiet, ok?" His voice is soft, bouncing the little toddler on his hip, stroking his fingers through his hair. "Shhh, shhh... it's okay... It's okay..."

Only through the soft whisper and the soothing pets did the kit calm down, hiccuping and hunching his shoulders up. "T-tousan.." Voice quiet, Yashima flexed his fingers up to bunch in his father shsirt, cradling closer to him. "Tousan.."

"It's okay, baby... I know.. I'm here for you.."

"Tousan..."

Airaka sat on the edge of the fountain, watching the baby ghost fluttering her and there. He seemed not at all tiresome. The wyvern wisp was currently attampting to attack a butterfly with his golden wand. Airaka leaned back slightly, closing her eyes from the light of the sun. She shot a hand out, catching the foutain edge to keep her balance. The garden was perfect for pondering.

And pondering was what Airaka was doing. She wondered whether or not the boy would be as hyperactive now when he soldifies. Will he be able to make friends with the other babies. Airaka believed the wyvern boy would be able to befriend Yashima easily, but not to sure about the other two. Then again, Airaka half feared the other children. Coailiann with her attitude, and Kishi just because she was a succubus. Airaka was pretty sure Yashima was safe.

A sudden nudge at her shoulder startled Airaka, and she had to grab the edge of the fountain with both hands. Her eyes had popped open, and she sat there breathing heavier then usual, sounds of gleeful baby gurgling in her head.

"Very funny..." she muttered.

But her scowl turned to a grin, and the wyvern floated away again to explore the lilypads.

Yashi was safe until he remembered who and what he had been. But now, as a toddling baby using his wand as a crutch, he was as innocent as the purely driven snow and just as pale.

He was meandering side-by-side with his father, startling white against the deep brown of the larger Patrick. The human was talking absently to his son, voice mild and sing-song, chatting about one of their clan. Yashima, on the other hand, was toddling in the akward movements of a toddler, his plush geisha doll in one arm and his wand in the other.

When the wyvern came into view with his girl-thing, the foxkit let out a squeal, the hand clutching the wand pointing at them sharply, almost accusing. "Shounen~"

Airaka blinked, and got to her feet at the shout. She had look worried at first, but then at spotting Yashima and Patrick she grinned.

"Hello Patrick. Hello Yashima."

The wyvern waved his wand at Yashima, then turned about, distracted by a butterfly that had landed on the grass. When he floated toward it, the butterfly took off again, and Airaka heard a slight hissing in her mind. She blinked dumbly, with a flustered look in her eyes. But she said,
"Yashima's grown since I last saw him."

"Mmhmm. He's officially a 'toddler' now. Your kiddlet's grown too, I see." Patrick smiled faintly, leaning down to scoop the still-pointing Yashima up and cuddle him to his chest.

The toddler was having none of that. His wand was gnawed on and the doll clutched close and he wriggled himself fiercely agaisnt Patrick. His father winced slightly and put the boy down with a siiiigh. "How've you b een, Airaka? Dealing OK with the baby ghost ness? It's weird, isn't it?"

"Watage!" Yashima squeaked towards the other wand, taking large baby steps towards him, small, floofy tail waving in the air. "Wa-ta-geee!"

Airaka nodded her head, her eyes trailing over the fuming wyvern wisp.
"Congratz. I've been great. Ish. You know? "
As her blue eyes moved back to Patrick, she said weakly,
"Yeah... It is. I can kind of hear him in my head. Or atleast, I thi it's him. I may just be going insane."
She chuckled, then blinked over at Yashima,
"Do you understand what he is saying?"
The wyvern ghost floated closer to Yashima, and waved his wand around a bit more, before circling about the boy. Airaka got a shot of gleeful gurgles from the boy.

"Yeah, I know." He knew. One hand patted his own stomach with a sigh, head shaking and glancing back with a grin.

"Oh, no. That's definately him, darlin'. Definately, definately him. I heard it with yashi too, except he didn't say or do all that much. He was quieter."

Yashima, at Airakas question, paused andwrinkled his nose, pointing again at the wyvern. "Fukafuka?" Ears flicked slightly, fingertips moving to tickle against that cloud of fluff. "Fukafuka watage!"

"...nope. I don't have a goddamn clue. Neveah did, though. She talked to him."

Airaka had been attempting to figure out what was with that stomach. Either Patrick had gotten fat really fast, or he was pregnant. She doubted both ideas.
"Oh... My boy seems to enjoy making noises. He also moves quite a lot. Good to know I'm not going insane though. "
She blinked at Yashima, and her own child, whom had stopped circling around Yashima, and was now floating a ways away from him, groggily so, as if her were dizzy.
"I wonder if he'll speak anything other then English." she said, referring to the wyvern ghost.

Yashima dropped both his doll and his wand to reach up at the babyghost, cradling it between his palms and trying to tug it closer.. He wasn't a very strong boy, though, and he couldn't will a baby ghost to do something it didn't want to.

Instead, he squished his eyes shut and projected, loudly, loudly, for all to hear that had the capacity to see into the thoughts of one little godly messanger, Boythingyeah?

Patrick would kill whoever called him fat. Period. He almost dive tackled the doctor and murdered him for mentioning it. Instead, he smiled and moved to sit on the edge of the fountian, stretching out. "You're not insane," He assured her, shoulders shrugging. "He might. Yashi knew a little english until he heard Iamels damned Sailor moon theme song. Kay speaks english."

The baby ghost fidgeted. He didn't want to be held, but would the boy with the tail ignore him if he didn't submit. Attention is gold. And there was many ways to get gold. He wanted gold from this boy, now. So the wyvern wisp submitted. He shivered a bit as he heard the voice in his head.
Yeah, yeah.

"Sailor Moon? Well, hopefully I'll be able to understand him a bit. He might speak... " she paused, pondering on it for a second, "Draconic... I think. Because he is dragon like."
Airaka gave a shrug of her shoulders.
"I'll wait and see, I guess."

Yashi blinked and petted at the little baby ghost, fingers dropping when he realized the fidgeting was one of impatiance, not of being happy or wanting to get closer - Iamel did that sometimes. Wriggled and twisted until he was close enough to cling to someone.

Yeahyeahboything? The little fox wasn't too good with seperating his thoughts, like Coailiann was... He was only good at projecting and he could recieve things easily. But seperating them into coherancy? Not much of it.

"Sailor moon," Patrick confirmed, nose wrinkling. "A girl cartoon. He put it on and the second Yashima heard it, he's refused to speak anything but that. I'm getting frustrated... What does Draconic sound like, anyway?"

The ghost gave a soft whimper into Airaka's head, causing the woman to look over at him for a second, before turning back to Patrick. His thoughts were quick, and detatched, yet soft. This whole speaking in the mind thing was weird to him.
Yes. Boything. Me.
Yes, speaking out through ones mind was difficult, and confusing.

"Mmm... Sailor Moon seems to be very popular. "
She grinned, then paused a bit at his second question.
"Draconic sounds like..." Airaka hesitates again, "... Well... hissing. Sort of. It's a pretty old language."
She shrugged her shoulders, for she did not know much of the language, only having heard it once when Kris had had a verbal fight with someone.

Okay. The little thing didn't like the mind talk and without someone telepathic that could help, neither did Yashima. So he just reached back up, petting softly at the little fluff with a squeak.

"Watage," His words were wisely said, although it meant something along the lines of 'fluff'. To a child his size, everything was wise.

"Does it? I thought it looked a little too girlie for him, but then the killing and lesbians kicked in and then it just kind of scared me." Patrick laughed, head shaking a little.

Draconic is a hissing language? Nifty. One eyebrow arched and Patrick let out a soft hiss between his teeth by pushing at the air, lips quirking into a grin once more. "It'd be hard to understand, even if it IS pretty, I imagine."

The white wisp floated up, nudging into the foxkits hand. He didn't understand what the toddler was saying, but he did kind of enjoy the pets.

Airaka shrugged her shoulders,
"I mean Kishi and her sister watch it as well." She then raised a finger to her chin, looking thoughtful, before continuing,
"I didn't know there was lesbians or killing. Doesn't sound that good for children to be watching."

She let out a bit of a giggle when Patrick hissed,
"They do use words. But when they talk real fast, it sounds like snakes at war. I don't know much though. I would have to get a friend of mine to teach me the language if the little boy does talk Draconic."

Yashi giggled loudly at the nudges, fingertips tickling at the cloud with a grin. He liked this little white wisp! It was new and different and liked his fingers.

Patrick just grinned, shoulders rising in a shrug. "In the English version they say the lesbians are cousins...but whatever." One dismissive wave of his hand, and he grinned once more, nose crinkling up. "They'll learn english eventually. Kay knows English. Yashi will just have to learn."

He held out his wand as he nudged once more into Yashima's hand. The wyvern waved his wand infront of the kitsune's eyes.

Airaka paused for a second, before nodding her head.
"Oh. I see. Counsins intresting."
She grinned, and shrugged her shoulders as well.
"Yeah. It'll be intresting when he starts speaking."
The red head turned to Yashima and her own child.
"I'm honestly getting kind of giddy. Supposedly he becomes a living, breathing child next time. I wonder how he'll act. What he'll like. Everything like that. "
She gave Patrick a weak grin, then looked back at the two.

Yashima squealed at the waving and a giggle left his lips, little hands clapping together in childish delight. It was a wand! It was waving at him! Yay! So cute!

"Fukafuka kawaii~" The little boy giggled, fingers moving to tickle-pet along the smoke still, cheeks getting pink from his excitement.

Patrick just grinned, shoulders rising into a shrug. "It IS exciting... yashi was something of a surprise. He just popped into his crib one day while we were setting up his bedroom. He just stared at us like he knew we were there... I'm sure your brat is going to be just as cute as he is."

The dark man smirked, shrugging once more. "I haven't regreted the fox yet."

The ghost baby retracted his wand, his 'tail' flicking with the movement, and he let loose a gleeful thought.

He thought caught Airaka by surprise, which it did every so often, and she raised her sunkissed fingers to her temples.
"He's kinda loud... but I think he likes Yashima."
She lowered her hands, and grinned at Patrick, before reverting to their other conversation.
"Oh, he was a bit of a surprise this time. I was changing a bird feeder when he baby ghisted. I fell right out of the tree, and sprained my arm. It's pretty much healed."
She held up her left arm with a grin.
"I wonder what will happen this time," she said, this time accompanied by a chuckle.

Yashima giggled and wriggled at him with his fingers, tail lashing back and forth. He LIKED this little ghost child! he was fun and amusing and and and..yes!

"I think yashi likes him too, so it works." Patrick grins, ducking down to ruffle at his sons hair. "You sprained your arm? Gods be damned, that sucks! At least it's getting better JUST in time for you to get a kid though, you know?"

Another laugh before he scooped Yashima up, bouncing him gently on his knee. "Sorry but it's almost time for fox-kit's nap... he gets grumpy otherwise. But we should totally catch up again. I think he might pout without the dragon thing."

Well, it was that time again. They'd been visiting the HQ more and more often lately - there was Easter and the walking bunch.. Oh, the fun of it all.

But now? Oh, NOW. Yashima had a DOLL. She was a pretty doll, soft and white plush, with a pretty little geisha up-do and a red yukata. Her eyes were button-black and her smile was sewn of a pretty red fabric - his daddy had bought her for him and now, Yashima was settled on the floor of the HQ's 'living room', in his little blue outfit and his hair tied up in two ponytails.

The doll was dancing across the ground with his chubby baby-fingers as strings, the toddler squealing softly at each little movement. So pretty! So graceful! So much fun! The little fox giggled as he made her dance more, nose wrinkling.

"Shoom!"

"And THAT is why I don't lik--" Neveah's voice, though eventually cut off, carried enthusiatically in the air; she was probably talking excitedly to someone. She cut herself off however, when she heard the shoom sound from the other room. Curiousity killed the cat, but in this case the butterfly...and she went to investigate. Peering around the corner, Neveah eyed the living room, then let out a happy keen.

"Oh! I remember you...! Yashima!" She called out happily, then disappeared behind the wall again, though her voice was still heard. "Look, Spiderling! Yashima's over there!" Like before, she sounded excited. The next time the butterfly appeared around the corner, she had a ghostly baby floating above her cradling arms, waving the spider-tipped wand in the air lazily.

Remembering Patrick's mention of Yashima being hesitant around girls, she crouched down a few feet away, waving pleasantly from a distance. "Hi there, little one! Remember us?" Even as she spoke, the ghost baby in her arms fluttered to the ground, sitting there and tapping its wand against the ground.

He looked up when the vaugly familier thing wandered inside, wide golden eyes blinking up when that butterfly skittered inside and stared at him. "....Shoom?" He squeaked out, ears shifting, lying flat on his skull.

It was the girl who wasn't a girl! She was the thing with wings - like Iamel and lahela - which meant she was safe, ne? "Chocho?" The fox questioned, hands moving to hug his doll tight to his chest, gumming at the hair of his lovely doll.

.....THE BOYTHING! HE LIKED THIS BOYTHING! BOYTHING! In his glee, all those thoughts were...projected, shoved towards the little mass of drow-mist, little tail floofing out. Shinieefloofyboythinghi!

Neveah giggled, then promptly sat back on her rear, minding her wings of course. She didn't understand what Yashima was questioning her about, but there was something vaguely familiar about what he was trying to say. Those words...how did you say it again...? ...OH YEAH! Having remembered what a little kid had called her once, the woman pointed to herself. "Chou! Aoi Chou" If it was one thing she remembered, it was how to say 'Blue Butterfly'. "Where's your Daddy, little one?"

The spiderling stopped hitting the wand against the ground as the fox-boy's thoughts were projected to him. After a moment or two, it let out a churr of joy that only Neveah might hear...but it was also probable that Yashima could hear it too. Lifting a ghostie appendage, the little ghost seemed to wave to the toddler, and the wand resumed tapping against the ground.

"...Aoi chou?" His voice was small, staring up at her and then the little silver fox beamed, squishing the doll closer to his chest. "Aoi chou, watashi kitsune!" Another little giggle and then.. "Tousan?"

He didnt know where his Tousan was. Ah well. When the spiderling waved and gave that trill, that small, pale hand thrust the doll outward, towards him. "wa-ta-ge~ Watage, ningyo~"

Neveah nodded a bit, smiling happily. To be honest, the woman remembered more than she first throught! It wasn't until the whole 'Watage Ningyo' business did he completely lose her. "Hai, Tousan wa? You're all alone...?" Neveah hoped her guess of the word 'where' was right. Still, the butterfly seriously doubted that the fox-kit was alone.

The clinking of the wand slowed to a stop again, and the ghost seemed to stare at the fox. Though he hadn't the faintest idea of what was being said or shown to him, he reached out with a hesitant, smokey hand and pet the doll's head a couple of times, hoping that would make the other boy happy.

"Thats a doll, spiderling..." Neveah coo'd out affectionately, drawing her knees closer to her chest. Well, she couldn't keep calling him 'Spiderling' forever now could she? This drow was obviously male, considering he'd shied away from Kishi, and Yashima seemed to like him a lot. "Wanna help decide on a name for the Spiderling, Yashima?" Might as well ping this toddler into helping her, since she had no one else to bounce names off of.

"Tousan~" He agreed happily to absolutely nothing, withdrawing the doll from the spiderling to lick at it affectionately. "Kurai-watage? Kurai hai?"

He was an eager little thing, grabbing his nearby wand and using it to prop himself up, standing with a little happy squeak. Ears perked foreward, taking a few wobbily steps towards her and the spiderling. "Kurai-watage foof!" He puffed up importantly, giggling quietly, nose wrinkling up at the dark little fluffball.

"Yashi~ Watage~"

Neveah blinked. Oh crap, the little guy just kept talking! He was losing her, fast! She made a mental note to brush up...err...re-learn, her Japanese. "Uh...Hai." Okay, perhaps she shouldn't agree to things she didn't understand! Instead, she giggled at the fox-kit's antics. "Wow Yashi, you're getting good at walking!" She clapped happily for him, and the spiderling hit his wand against the ground in praise.

"But names...Lets see...Drow names..." She mused as she moved onto her knees and held out her hands, ready to catch Yashima should he fall. "Indal...Khazbin...Zasalamel...Zaharkazan..." The butterfly prattled on a few Drow names she'd read in her research, hoping one would spur the interest of the ghost and the toddler.

Luckily, one did! The spiderling keened in agreement and joy when the butterfly muttered 'Zasalamel', as if he were agreeing with that one. Even as it keened though, it floated over to Yashima to 'walk' beside him, giggling in their minds.

"Zah-sawh-lah-meel?" He drawled out, pouting and leaning on his wand. The praise made the fox beam, head bobbing a little bit. "Zawsawlawmeeeeeeeeel!"

It was childish but he was damned proud. He even liked it! The fox let go of the wand with one hand to pat at the spiderling with his free hand with a giggle. "Kuraiwatage - Zahsalamel?"

Were they the same? Yes?

"Oh good, you both like it! Okay, Zasalamel it is!" Neveah reached down and pet the spiderling's head, retracting her hand so Yashima could pet him too. The little Drow seemed pleased at his new name, and he freely attempted to nuzzle Yashima's patting hand. He liked this boy!

Though Neveah couldn't understand what Yashima was saying other than the spiderling's name...but even she could understand he was probably asking if they were the same. "Hai." She said simply, not adding anything else in case she was wrong. Besides, he was a toddler! Might as well play along, right? Giggling, she reached out and pet the fox this time. "How about we call him 'Zah' for short, eh?" Little kids tripping over long words was so damned CUTE! Yashima included...She just wanted to pull him into a huge hug and nuzzle him! But that would probably make him cry, so she refrained.

Zah gave a shrill keen in glee, waving his little wand around before poking at Yashima's doll with it, attempting to pat the doll with his wand, but missing...more than once.

Yashima blinked a little bit, glancing up at her. Due to her being able to speak 'his' language, the female was alowed to pet at the fox, his little ears flickering to and fro with a purr. His tail poofed out a bit, blinking and staring at his doll.

To the doll and then to his newfound friend.
Doll.
Friend.
Doll.
Friend.

....friend was trying to pet doll?

Yashima reached out to pet more at the wisp baby, pushing his doll closer with a squeak. "Kuraiwatage~ Ningyo?"

Neveah squeed excitedly under her breath, hugging her knees tighter to her chest since she wasn't about to scoop Yashima up into a hug. That Kid. Was so. ADORABLE! Her antennae quivvered in glee, her wings fluttering to mimic the motion. "WHY are you so CUTE?!" She keened out happily.

The spiderling slowed his wand-pet of the doll, seemingly staring straight at Yashima...obviously not understanding a word the other boy said. But apparently that didn't matter in his currently non-existant books, as a few moments after Yashima spoke, he let out another happy whine, patting at the fox's hand with his own ghostly one.

He was adorable because he was amazing and furry and unaware of his own cuteness. Solomn golden eyes blinked up at the quivering anteanii, reaching up to bat gently with a giggle. "Fukafuka, ne?"

He was still curious though, turning back to face the spiderling. The whinie brought a happy beam to the toddlers face, fingers flexing and petting right back, almost bouncing in his diapers. "Zawsaw fukafuka kuraiwatage hai?" Sure, most of it was baby babble... except for the 'zawsaw'. He was mutilating the kids name. Ah well.

Okay yeah, invest in a japanese-english, english-japanese books, thank you. "Uh, sure?" She flinched at first towards the toddler's batting, but eventually she gave in and moved her antennae for the boy.

If he could, Zah would definately tilt his head in confusion. Instead though, he fluttered around the fox kit, eventually pausing to poke at the fluffy tail his friend possessed, sending a keen little chime of curiousity to his guardian and mostly likely to Yashima, though on accident.

Patrick was already planning to invest in one. After reading all he could about Inari, he realized his son would have some SERIOUS readjusting to do. Yashimas fingers were gentle on the antennae, petting there as well as with Zah.

The fluttering pleased him, as did the little poke. The boy giggled again, floofing his tail up for the baby ghost. "Fukafuka," He explained, wriggling it a little. "Fukafuka~"

Still, Zasalamel's mental sendings were curious ones...which turned into a rather startled one when the tail suddenly floofed up! The little ghost had even flew backwards a little bit, clinging onto his wand. After a moment or two the little Drow crept forward, pet the tail, then fluttered backwards just incase it'd floof like before.

Neveah giggled a bit. "Fukafuka...wiggling?" She guessed, one of her antennae lowering to 'hide' itself in her short, two-toned hair.

"Wighen?" He gummed out, blinking curiousl and wrinkled up his nose. He reached over, grabbing at neveahs hand and putting it to his tail. "Fukafuka." And then the hand was pushed to her hand. "Fukafuka. Foofy fukafuka."

Being abandoned by the baby ghost made him pout a little bit, shoulders slumping.

Hm...so the furry-thing didn't floof again...too bad! Slowly, the little drow floated back to Yashima and continued to pet the tail, finding it more entertaining than anything right now. After going still again, he fluttered over his kit-friend's head, looking at him upside down and waving his wand.

"Oh..I see..." She lied, smiling as though she really did understand. After a few more moments of silence, the butterfly looked around again...really, shouldn't Patrick be around here somewhere...?

Patrick was dead asleep in the room next to them. He just went in to lay down but.. ended up passing out. Being giant, like his stomach was becoming, and taking care of so many kids just sapped his strength. Luckily, Yashima was a good kid who didn't get into everything.

Yashima squealed softly at teh fluttering, crossing his eyes and glancing back up at the other babyghost softly. Fingers moved up to tickle at the fluffy cloud, giggling quietly. "Fukafuka kuwaiwatage.."

Fingers sheathed in black cloth lightly stroked the morbid wand in her possession. It hadn't been long since she'd received it from Ianna, but it already was beginning to bring problems to her. She couldn't touch the thing. Well, she could, but not without being violently jerked into some mental haze she didn't care much for.

Kyo sighed and sunk deeper into another of the many couches the HQ had to offer, her eyelids beginning to feel heavier by the minute. Just what had she gotten herself into? Nothing she couldn't handle... hopefully.

Wow. This place sure was lively. Really, what was she doing here anyways? It didn't really matter now... she didn't feel like getting up when sleep was drawing so near and nothing was around to keep her from it. Visions began to lick at the corners of her mind, waiting for the precise moment when they could yank her deep into the void of sleep.

"You awake, hun?"

Patricks voice rang through the HQ with the easy grace of someone who had no issues with anyone. The rather swollen male had his pale Ghostly child at his hip and Yashimas geisha doll in the other hand. He noticed Kyo, just slightly, when passing through and...so... he'd decided to talk to her.

"Is that a wand? What kind?"

"Huh...? Ah..." Kyo shook her head slightly, letting loose that black matted hair. Her free hand quickly brushed the strands away, exposing one side of her face. She blinked groggily at him, then slowly slid her vision to Yashima and that bulging stomach. Pregnant?

"Yes, it is." She lifted the wand slightly so the man could get a better view. "It's a... Mind Flayer. Is that kitsune from this place as well?" She nodded to Yashima slightly.

"You knew he was a kitsune." Patrick seemed pleased at that knowledge, giving his son a little bounce. Yashima didn't make a noise, thrusting his thumb into his mouth and holding out his little hand demandingly.

He wanted the wand. He knew he probably wouldn't get it, but it didn't feel like a girlthing... So it was a boything. Maybe not a friendly boything, but a boything.. or it soon would be.

So many friends were going to become boythings! It pleased the little Kitsune to no end.

"His name is Yashima and he likes wands that are boys." The dark man grinned, head giving a little bow in aknowledgement. "I'm Patrick. You are?"

Kyo simply nodded to the statement. He didn't ask for an explanation on how she knew, so she simply focused on the way the child reached for the wand. "Yes, it's a boy..." She murmured softly, not quite sure if she should hand over the wand or not.

Well, one so young couldn't possibly see the things she could. "Watch the top, okay?" She told the boy softly, as if she expected him to understand. Hopefully he wouldn't stick it in his mouth.

"I'm Kyo. Pleasure to meet you, Patrick." She replied, sliding the base of the wand into Yashi's hand.

Yashima just beamed at her at her words, hand tightening over the base of the Mind Flayers wand, other hand moving to grip the wand jut under the bolbous top to keep it from falling out.

There were pictures, all around his head. Another boything! Hurrah! The wand was clung to, tail flicking from side to side, te tip moving to catch in Yashimas mouth. The toddler sucked at teh furry apendage, wide golden eyes on Kyo curiously.

"How'd you know it was a boy? Most Gaurdians don't, at first, unless it's something gender-specific."

"It's an... ability I could do without." Kyo replied steadily, choosing her words carefully as she did. "Most likely the main reason I was chosen to raise him." The corners of her nearly bloodless lips twitched, then curled upward into a smile that almost made her look normal. Heh. Kitsunes were always cute, in her opinion, even if her own had come soaked in blood and smelling of decay.

The wand lay dormant in Yashima's hands for the moment, though the little something hidden inside must have been able to see the pictures, or at least feel. Though, if it could send anything back, it didn't respond for a little while. It wasn't the wand's fault Kyo saw a few things she shouldn't have when she touched it. She was the one that had prodded open the pocket of memories that had accompanied, but still lay dormant, in the wandling.

Then, for Yashima, there came a sliver of golden color, but one that faded quickly. The child might not have noticed.

"An ability, mm." Patrick chose not to question that, watching as his toddler toyed about with the wand. Yashima was always so very attentive and clingy to the things he decided were worth being clung to.

Then he noticed he was being watched, pausing and blinking up at teh woman curiously, head tilting to one side. "..fukafuka?" He offered, giving teh little wand a small shake..Then the color! A mild little flash, but he squealed none the less, tail poofing up like a cats would.

All for the better that Patrick didn't ask. She wasn't very defensive -she'd have told him the basics of what her abilities fell into- but she didn't openly display anything either. Not often, unless she needed to. She simply nodded to Yashima, smiling again.

"How old?"

The gold flickered away, then came again. Longer and a bit brighter, the tendril twisted and curled into some incomplete shape before fading away. On the third try, it managed a wavy circle inside another, creating something of an eye. Huh.

Patrick simply didn't like to pry. There was enough odddness in his life - from being pregnant to the little gaurdian of death he first adopted - that he didn't have to ask and pry for weirdness anymore.

"Not very. I just got his wand in December... I think December? Either way, around that time... And he's been growing pretty fast. He can walk now. And almost-talk."

"Kitsune," Yashima supplied helpfully to the woman before training his eyes back onto the wand. The movements brough a little giggle from him, fingertips wriggling gently on the shiny black bit.

"Oh, December. I see... Hm. Well, I don't doubt he'll be clever when he grows up. He seems to understand what we're saying now... or most of it. Talking... might all be a matter of getting it out of him. He seems like a quiet one." She tilted her head slightly at him. "Yes, kitsune. Very good."

The eye squished itself as if blinking, then shimmered away at the giggle as if it had managed to hear. It was black as if nothing had ever happened in that dull mind link. Maybe it was waiting for Yashima to do something- show it more things. Maybe it was resting or something. Kyo watched Yashima with a tired gaze, but really was curious as to if he were really communicating with it.

"Does... a baby just appear?"

"Well, first it becomes this little wispy thing... and then this bigger, more solid-ish wispy things where it talks in your head in baby talk.. and then a baby just appears. I'm not sure what EXACTLY happens because I was in the other room when Yashi grew."

Patrick grinned sheepishly, shoulders rising in a shrug. Yashi, on the other hand, concentrated on the little wand, squeezed his eyes shut and pushed as well as he could at the other with his mind. Yashima was no telepath but he'd gotten practice with Kay and now this little wand, so the pictures of himself were being thrust at the wand with his mind were as good as he possibly could.

Kyo nodded, knowing she wasn't going to remember this later without taking notes but also too lazy to get the materials for it out. Eh. It'd just be a surprise for her. She smiled. "That's alright... It might be a case of... 'The watched pot never boils'?"

The dark of the wand practically absorbed the pictures Yashima shoved at it and gave no sign of stirring for a moment. Then, a white line, twisting and splicing itself into a very shaky outline of the fox child. A hazy color of purple would soon flood. It didn't know what it was, just this color. What else? The white line came back, creating that same image of the eye.

"Something like that, but less cool." He agreed, laughing and glancing down at his son and her wand. One eyebrow arched... "Well, at least he's not chewing on it. He's at the stage where EVERYTHING goes into his mouth."*

Yashi squealed happily and almost beamed at the sight of his little purple white shaky outline and small fingers gave little pets at the wand. Good good picture! He agreed, giggling and squishing his face again together and shoved at the wand, mentally, a little picture of his own most prized possesion - his own white wand!
Mine.

* NOT FORSHADOWING HE'S JUST BEING A FATHER DAMN YOU.

The woman blinked slightly. She'd never had a child with a fetish for putting things in their mouth. Unless you counted the child of her adopted son, who pretty much nibbled on everything at that age. "Ah.. No, it wouldn't be good if he put it in his mouth... There's a sharp barb at the top."

The wand was traced in white, unable to work with two colors at a time yet. A small swirly was drawn in blue. It liked the wand, trying to praise Yashi with its little random designs. Then, the eye. More?

"He won't... He doesn't eat other children. Just his own wand, his hand and his brothers building blocks." Patrick grinned at the stunned woman, shoulders rising into a casual shrug.

"So do you have any more sprogglets? Or is it just him?"

Yashi giggled quietly, wriggling at the little swirly happily. The eye appeared once more and his face crumpled in thought - what could he send the little wand?! What of interest?? So, yashi just wrapped his fluffity blue and black tail around the wand and petted at it curiously. His nose wrinkled.

And he sent over the vision of his geisha doll. Pretty!

Journal-wanna-be you know the ******** drill by now.

Turns out, Yashi is still the gender-finder-outer. He's gotten attatched to another wand (being big and bad and such) and has proceeded to talk to a wand that has yet to wisp. I thought it was kind of weird and the gaurdian of the wand was a bit off, but she was nice. The fox-kit was really cooing over that damn wand.

Made a note of her - I'll be sure to look her up when her own bratling grows or something. I'll ask Ianna about him and her later...they seem interesting enough.

Bought Yashi another pair of clothes. He likes keeping them clean. That, I do not mind. It's a good thing to have a clean little brat for once.

On that subject, I'm going to log off now, journalwannabe. Akilah is running around like someone cut off his balls and terrifying Yashi.
