Before I start I just want to shove out that I'm afraid I might have been a little overly stern in my tone when I went over Lt. Coffinite, in which case I apologize. XD;; My intent isn't to scare people away with this, so I hope I didn't end up offending you too much.
Ende has left you a lot of really good advice already, she is absolutely correct about how it's a better idea to not overburden your character's traits with their history. <3 There is no time like the present, and that's the time we're looking at in character profiles when we hunt for RP. "Who they are" is going to factor into interactions more readily than "how they got there" is, history can work well as plot fodder (I'm investing Simon's history pretty heavily into his character development) but not everyone is going to want to RP with your character for their backstory.
I'm also really pleased to see you're going with her suggestions attack-wise as well. 8D I'm aware you're trying to figure out a 'Gateways' senshi with a sort of 'interdimensional travel' theme without making her overly OP'd or overlapping Foramen, so it's just hugely encouraging you're willing to work with us on that front. I'd like to suggest that if you go with the idea of "closing off" a person from the physical realm, though, that while they're intangible they'd still be able to move freely -- if they can't touch / attack anyone OR be touched / attacked themselves, there would be a strategy value on using the attack on an enemy OR an ally.
Just remember to get consent from other players in battles that an Eternal-stage Hecate might get into, or write in a mechanic to the attack that gives others a chance to avoid it. What if to make the attack work -- okay, I'm going to bullet-point this so it isn't disjointedly rambled at you:
step 1: Hecate summons an opened gate onto the field
step 2: Five seconds before gate closes - cue scramble to run into it or shove people in; Hecate can also enter the gate herself if she so chooses
step 3: Everyone who runs in gate is sealed to the plane "behind" it for 30 seconds until it opens again and people are allowed back out (five seconds until the gate FORCES them out and then vanishes)
step 4: Those in the gate are intangible to those outside the gate, but
not intangible to
each other. I am basically thinking of, like, the Twilight Realm from Zelda: Twilight Princess and the shadow realm from Four Swords with this, if you've played either of those games.
step 5: ???
step 6: PROFIT
This is just a suggestion, and I'd recommend seeing if Kali agrees this fits well enough under the sphere first; she's the best bet to go to when it comes to senshi attacks. XD But it could be a lot of fun. I like to think of Eternal attacks as having the capacity to really shift the dynamic of a battle roleplay, and something like this would be a battle I'd like to join.
As far as your other attacks -- I can't say anything on the super one because you appear to be rewriting it, but I think your first one should be alright because it falls under the interpretation of allowing / blocking passage when it comes to "gates" or "gateways."
OKAY, PERSONALITY --
As said above, I think you need to spend less text space explaining how she got these individual characteristics and more explaining how they all fit together. Some of the stuff you have under her Loyalty and Distrustful traits:
Quote:
Once she makes a real connection with someone, sees the value in their friendship and trust - she herself slowly becomes capable of trusting someone, pulling an almost full 180.
Quote:
As time goes on, and she meets more people, spends time with them, realizes these individuals are becoming a constant in her life, she'll start to see that perhaps, not everyone is a money hungry b***h/b*****d deep down. That's not to say she doesn't expect them all to be until they prove other wise, however. Never will she lose her darker view of the world outside her eventual group of friends, she'll just... be faintly more able to open her eyes to good deeds others do. No promises she'll believe the acts run to the core though.
sound more like plans for character
development, and less like explanation on the traits. If she's currently fundamentally distrustful, stick to how she's currently fundamentally distrustful and how it's really difficult to gain her loyalty.
Speaking of which, I'm confused as to how she is so distrustful and bitter about people, and -- then she's kind and willing to listen to people and help them out? I feel sort of like I'm reading about two people when I look between her virtue set and flaw set, if you want her to be a nice person it has to be in a way that agrees with how she is Angry At Humanity For Being a Bunch of Self-Serving Douchebags. Right now her helpfulness and desire to keep people happy is kind of clashing with her bitterness towards them.
I'd really recommend considering the
basic idea your character is supposed to have; a good character is one you can describe in a short phrase or sentence -- the core concept is like your thesis, and all of the traits you write out serve to support it. Right now Kae feels more like a bunch of traits thrown together than a cohesive, consistent character.
As far as hobbies go: I'm going to reiterate the suggestion to tone down her Freestyle hobby so it's more realistic, and she could also use at least one more hobby that encourages interactivity, e.g. stuff she can do with other people. ^^ Both Freestyle and singing are more "look at how cool / listen to how pretty I am!" than something you can make an RP out of.
