He turned back to the girl, giving a nod "Allright allright..." he slowly stood, staring at the two for a moment before turning to walk to the next thing. Noting over his shoulder "Orpheus, you and Ligeia can stay here or put the egg back and follow."

How he missed the family life...

They came upon another tank, the top apparently would come off.. but was sealed shut with an intimidating metal ring where the top would be removed.
He cleared his throat, giving a disturbed look to the vat of bubbling green liquid. He quickly removed it for the sake of the people here...
No need to suggest that anyone was in danger.

"This is the black dragon. As you can see the egg is needed to sit in acid, though we're not exactly sure why yet... Perhaps some of the chemicals from the mother's acid are needed to keep the egg stable.

This acid is from the mother of the egg, they have the power to spit highly toxic acid...." He gave a gulp, too many tech were lost to this species. He didn't like dealing with them.

He dug in his pocket a moment, pulling out a key. "Back up." he muttered to the children who'd been latching onto him.
The vessle gave a tiny creak, and a hiss as he lifted it open.

He took a deep breath, simply reaching one hand in, the one tinted darker than his normal skin color. He flinched slightly, scouping the egg out to quickly move to hand to Yeesha.
"It's still got some acid on it.. but... You can hold it without being hurt." he said so more to calm any worrying parents than the girl.

Blade simply looked back, seemingly sobered up a lot now. "Be careful with that Frost Dragon egg- we don't have any replacements handy.." He was back to his usual self, done with the childish enthusiasm. This was all business now. He turned back towards them, hands tucking into his pockets. He then walked along behind the boss, the faintest gleam reappearing in his eye at the sight of the Black Dragon egg as it was removed from the acid.. "Hm.." And then he turned away, waiting aloofly for them to finish, watching the other teachers converse silently.

Yeesha gave a gasp of awe as he reached into the green water, acid, he'd said. She knew that was bad, her daddy had told her once while he had been talking about something called an ulcer. She held out her hands eagerly for the egg. "Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!"

Sliding her little hands around it she found it a comforting weight, still damp. And she was even more proud that she could hold it without getting hurt. She turned and held it out for the other kids to see. "Lookit! He said my egg wath thpecial." Her tone was mater-of-fact. He had said it was special, after all, she just enjoyed showing it off.

She looked up at him, already the hero-worship setting in. He'd reached right into the vat and hadn't been hurt either. Now was as good a time as any to also ask about his eyes. "Why do your eyeth glow?"

Hennet had excused himself from Orpheus and moved forward slightly, still behind the other children. He watched Yeesha handling the egg. He knew her scales would protect her but he didn't want her potentially ruining her dress or harming any of the other children. "Thank you, sir." His voice was quiet and respectful to the boss.

Bree eyed the boy, raising a brow at his uncharastic silence. "Simon--"

"Jekel."

Bree frowned, rolling her eyes. Yep. he was jsut fine.
She turned to look at the scene before her, sheer boredul plastered on her face. And for the first time, noticed Hennet was there.

She flushed slightly, grinning a bit. One would think she was embaressed other than the odd smirk on her face. She earned a odd look from Jekel, Then snapped herself out of her thoughts. Falling into boredum once more. She gave a yawn, a wag of her tail, and then .. nothing. Hm.

The man nodded, stepping back to shut the vat of acid for safety reasons.

once that was done, he rubbed at his hand a bit, flinching some. Okay so... Acid didn't hurt him as much as anyone else but, it hurt enough. And probably wasn't a good idea on his part...
But he'd been like that his whole life. He wanted the girl to seeher egg... The only other way to do so woul dhave been to get out the whole machine...
and she'd been patient through pretyt much all the other dragon eggs.

he paused, dropping his own hand to smile at the girl. Not his previous smiles, but more of a ... forced smile. Making up some bogus answere, apparently she liked them... So. "I ate all my food when i was little, brushed my teeth, and went to bed on time."

Yeesha hung on every word.

She'd ask her daddy to make brocolli and green beans right away tonight when they got home. She figured that was what she'd have to eat, since they were green, to get green glowing eyes. She held her egg happily.

Hennet wasn't facing Bree, so couldn't know her expression.

Bree looked to axel, blinking a bit. The grin returned, she looked around the area. Most of the adults seemed.. preoccuied. Now seemed like just a good of a time as any to ask.

Afterall.. her last "sleepover" had turned out quite well.

She leaned over, holding her hand to direct her hushed voice only to him. "Hm.. How about we have a ...sleepover. The kids would enjoy it and we..." she trailed off.

Jekel blinked, overhearing the tiniest bit.
A sleepover? Hey those were fun! He'd had one with yeesha. It'd be great if He could have Nero over too.

Speaking of which. He hurried over to yeesha, ready to inspect her egg now. The acid did look bad but.. As long a he didn't touch it life was good, right?
