Dragon's Name: Lev
Dragon's gender: Male
Dragon's type: Leviathan
How is your relationship with your dragon? Lev's my best bud.

Parent's Form
Have you had any medical troubles: Not with his health...

Have you had any phychological troubles: ******** yes. Simon's a pistol! I don't know what to do with him. He's always so upset, but if anyone tries to reach out he just responds in violence. I've tried being nice, I've tried being mean, I don't know what else.

On a whole, how would you (as a parent) say your child is doing in all aspects of his/her life? Horrible... Simon's bright, yes, but he doesn't put forth any effort to anything anymore. He refuses his homework, he refuses to do anything, just lays around doing nothing. If I try to get him out i nearly get my arm bitten off.

Ad for the usual information you request, Simon's spiked his hair, gotten two studs in his right ear, one in his tongue, and three rings on his tail. He prefers to go without shirts, due to the fin on his back... Other than that, he tends to wear darker colored shorts with a chain, some fish hooks, a typical teenage display of "punk" or something. I don't know anymore.

It wasn't long after he and Nero had snuck out that Simon had picked up the habit, only increasing it when Bree had gotten mad and put Iron bars on his windows. The harder she fought him, the more encouraged him to react. He wasn't aware of why, just the overwhelming urge to make her mad... Make her get that dissapointed look in her face. It came to a contradictory feeling... Each time he saw that look it twisted his stomach, made him feel like he was rotting from the inside out, and yet it also came with a sudden rush. A cold feeling that just seemed to numb any fears he had about what she thought, and so he'd do it again and again, maybe just to convince himself he didn't care about her. That he didn't care about anyone.

And ofcourse he didn't! Why should he? They all thought he was a monster... He didn't need them. He didn't need anyone. Those were the thoughts circling his brain as he stomped through the city streets, simly lit streets would shift into dark alleyways and back again, everyone had the same face.. The same look. And wether it was because a strange shark man was walking past, or just the fact any presence at this time of night declayred danger, the responce was the same. Everyone kept their distance from everyone else.

Another turn into a dark Alley, he slowed, pausing breifly to lean up against a cold damp wall to one of the apartments. He'd walked for... An hour now, his legs were beginning ot itch as blood pumped and heated his veins. He tried to walk as far as he could each time, each time getting further and further, so that the woman known as mother couldn't manage to find him. But unlike normal, he wasn't alone, a group of boys, 7 to be exact, closed in on him almost immediatly when he stopped. He'd entered their territory a few minutes ago, and hand't gone unnoticed. "Hey!" One of the boys spoke up, causing Simon to veer around and narrow his eyes at them. "What?" He responded simply, earning a chuckle from their apparent leader. "Nuttin. Just seems like you're in our turf, so you best keep moving." He stepped closer. Simon's expression dropped into a frown, turning to fully face the boy. "S'free country. I'll stop wherever the ******** I want." Arms crossed, a brow raised as the leader only begain to laugh, the group laughing along with him.

The leader stepped forward, a few of the guys behind him shouting some jeers and taunts, things about how Simon was about to get his a** handed to him. Which was why he didn't even pay them enough mind to regester what they actually said. Maybe if the whole group had attacked the genetically altered boy they would have had a chance, but just the one wasn't even fair. Simon didn't even move as the first punch was thrown into his chest, and as the offender paused to stare up in shock when his hardest punch did nothing, the shark boy couldn't help but grin ear to ear, earning a startled noise from some of the gang to the razor sharp pearly whites. Then it was over in a flash, a quick spin to throw his weight into his tail and he was sending their leader flying. He landed agains the wall with ah ard thud and crack, the wind knocked out of him he begain coughing and spurting.

Simon looked to the group, shaking his head, "Anyone else wanna try?" He shot at them, earning a shake of their heads. "Didn't think so." He finished in a gloat. As soon as the boy off to the side regained his ability to breath, he was pointing and yelling, something about a freak, before darting off into the darkness in humiliation. Simon was about to continue walking, before one of the boys spoke up, "Those are some ********' sweet moves!" Simon raised a brow, shrugging in some sort of modesty, just to clarify he'd gone easy on the silly human. "You gotta be our new leader!" Another one jumped in, earning a punch in the arm. "We don' gotta leader you idiot!" The younger one flinched away, only to return shove "You know what I meant!"

Simon simply watched as the two started up their own little quabble, only looking away when another spoke up, "So you in or what?"
He gave it a moments thought, before grinning, "I guess. Got nothing better to do anyways."

Simon didn't return til the wee hours of the morning, and when he did he was anything but clean. Covered in dirt, a bit of blood here and there, paint, and God knew what else, Bree was less than amused. But before she could even speak a word, he cut in "Grounded?" He gave a laugh, which boded even worse with the steaming mother.

Why was he here again? He couldn't remember, there was a rush... A hunt, almost, to break into the stores and rush out with whatever "prey" you'd desired. And ******** everyone else, thats how the game was played, every man for himself, which was exactly what he wanted... Or was it?

Sirens were blaring, Simon had taken to wearing sneakers for once, and was now hightailing his heavy body down alleyways he'd come to know like the back of his hand. He was slower than the rest, couldn't see as well, not all too bright... And yet, with all those flaws in the get away process, he still triumped over everyone else. Why? The trait that had allowed him to shove back one of the "lowers" and leave him to be thrown in a prison cell and charged for something that hadn't even been his idea. A heartless will against everyone else. It didn't matter what you did as long as you made it to the top, that's what he'd learned.

The breaking had been less than tactful, "Let's go..." he had ordered, promptly spinning on a heel to slam his tail into the corner shop's window. The glass shattered in to glittering specks of dust, and what didn't met the same fate when it hit the ground. Dispite all that, Simon stood unharmed, sneering at the glass in a cocky fashion while he rushed into the store. Cigarettes, alcohol, condums, and a few "pep pills" were all gathered up, while others did roughly the same, a few had gone for some more legal things like chips and other muchies. But instead of the usual sirens from a distance, they were suddenlly on and much closer than anyone had guessed they could be. In a panic, everyone scattered, only a few even managed to keep hold of their loot.

That was where things had turned, turning down an alleyway with several others, police were following hot on their heels, he could hear a few threats that they might open fire. The one on his left, Tommy, had bothered to declayre they were going to get caught. With a snort, Simon had shok his head, "No, we're not." He emphasized, leaving his comrade with a uneasy feeling in his gut. It was a quick action, barely even slowing his pace, the gang leader had leaned out a hand to promptly shove Tom into a brick wall. The intial shock had not only tripped him up and caused him to fall, but he was also met headfirst into brick.

And that left Simon here, now ditched by anyone else that had been following him, cutting another corner into the "safe" area. He slowed, a small smile played on his open mouth, slightly agape as his chest heaved. He'd won again... It was a good feeling, he was the best, no one ******** with him, no one told him what to do... And yet, that feeling stopped short. It made him feel something he couldn't really describe. Like he was hollow.

Mentally stomping that away, and brushing a free hand over his spiked hair, and started walking again as his breath caught up with him. This wasn't the time to grow a conciance, he mentally argued, this was life... No one got out of it, you kill to survive, that's how it was... Atleast, that's how it was to a monster, he thought bitterly. This was a monster's world... This was where he fit, where he belonged.

It wasn't long before he was ariving at the scene of his gang's hideout. He took a quick route up someone's fireescape, then down the other side of the building, tucked away it was just alittle abandoned warehouse, you move the danger sign, knock twice, then once up top, once at the bottum. He frowned as he went through the routine, but the door opened quick enough, allowing Simon to shove his way in. "M-Mr.Hide.." the door handler stuttered the gang-name. Elsewere he was Jekel, here he was mr.hide, it was deviously clever... Or so he'd thought after that "insult" he had to look up from Laial. The boy would just squirm if he knew that it had been more of a compliment than anything else. "Who got canned?" Simon snapped, The guy nodded "Just Tommy, Brian, and Kashi..." It wasn't bad, considering there was a good 10 on that heist. "Here." He dropped his share of slightly tattered looking items, then spinning to face the rest of the group while that minion shuffled off to put it with the rest of the sash.

Simon looked less than amused, the own guilt in the pit of his stomach he refused to accept found another way to come out. "So... Who all didn't drop their s**t." Black eyes scanned over the group, timidly, two raised their hands. "And the rest of you?" He asked in an expectant tone. "I-" one tried to speak up, everyone cringed as soon as his lips begain to move. "You what?! You want me to kick your a** to the curb? We lost three guys and you ******** didn't get me s**t. We are winners, and you... you are all losers. And I don't tolerate losers." He snarled, jagged teeth showing, "It won't happen again!" "Yea!" Several of them begged, causing SImon to back down. "See that it doesn't." Threat lingered on the edge of his voice. "I'm going to bed. You, Tray, and Jassy, you're free to help yourself to whatever you want." He nodded to the two that had actually suceeded tonight. "As for the rest of you are to touch any of our things until I give the okay, and if you do..." He gave a grin, opening and snapping his mouth shut to prove his point. No one messed with that.

And with that, he headed back to the streets of gaia to take the long treck home, only reaching his front steps at dawn.

Back home, Lev was inside the whole while, his entire body curled up into the soft fabric of the only object left in Simon's room; his bed. The door opened, his head picked up, but quickly dropped when his eyes only fell on Bree. With a pitched noise, a sad and low sound one might have associated with an orca, he set his head back down, large eyes peering up at his comrade's mother. Bree shook her head, frowning. "I'm worried too..." she told the dragon, tucking her tail around a leg and setting on the edge of the mattress. "Simon be back soon?" The leviathan leaned towards her for attention. He got it, she started to run her hand over the smooth water-resistant scales. "I don't know anymore..." She admited reluctantly.

The living room was dark, the clock had ticked far past midnight, leaving the only light source as the small lamp beside her. it barely lit her features, while her fingers drummed against the stand in a melodic fashion. Her legs crossed, she'd spent most of her time leaned back against the couch in this mannor, keeping her fingers going both out of irritation, boredum, and something to keep her awake. Though she couldn't help but doze off here and there, ears perked, the slightest noise or creak of the house would send her right back to the land of the living.

While waiting, she ran through everythign in her mind, everything she'd tried, done... Making sure this really was her last option, save for one more. She'd yelled at him, talked with him, took his things, tried to reason, everything ended exactly the same. The more she pushed him to stop, the more he pushed to continue. Bree knew she wasn't the best mother, she knew it better than anyone (obviously or they wouldn't have given her a child in the first place). She was the kind of person where putting a kid up for adoption was the better choice. But no, fate had delt her a hand she couldn't recover from, and now she had to fold.

And part of her couldn't blame Simon, her own free spirited, "I'm my own person", nature probably might have acted outlike this had she been leashed down like she had done the shark boy.

Finally, the door creaked open ever so slowly, feet pressing lightly against the hardwood floor. A smile almost appeared on her face, after all this he was still trying to sneak in. Like it still mattered. "Simon."

Simon froze mid step, she could hear it in the way the floor gave a half thump. "We need to talk." She followed up, calm and content for once-Though she had to say otherwise for the feeling in the pit of her stomach. The fact was, she was worried, she'd grown to like simon, and if that didn't piss her off enough the fact tht he was blatently stepping on that worry was working like a charm. <******** you." Was all she got, after a moment of silence, as he appeared around the corner, frowning. At first she thought she saw a glimpse of guilt, but that was quickly morphing into more and more anger, she could almost hear his thoughts driving him on. "Simon--""Jekel, damnit." he cut her off, like usual.

She cleared her throat. "Simon Jekel Zepke." A defiant look, as she shoved to her feet to block his path, to which he finally stopped, leaving her with a sense of 'danger' in the back of her mind. Would he hit her, bite her? Hell she had no clue at this point. "Chill, damnit." She finally snapped, losing her cool for a moment and running a hand through her hair. "I put all your stuff back. I give. I fold. I can't do this anymore." It all came blurting out at once, with more emotion than she'd originally planned, and from there it just kept going... "You do whatever the hell you want, you think you're old enough, but don't expect me to care anymore. Cause I don't. I'm done carrying, I'm done worrying, done thinking you might be dead in a ditch some where. Don't even bother sneaking out, just walk out the door, don't say bye, to me... You're not even here anymore." she finished, frowning deeply, and mentally noting that had been different from her original plan. Her plan had made her seem alot smarter and cooler than that... Damn.

Simon simply stared, anger melting off his face with suprise. Of all the things he'd been stewing up in his mind for her to say, for him to snap back at her for, for them to fight over... That had not been one of them. But he had to do something, and he had to stop looking all 'oh em gee', he knew that much. So he quickly snapped back "Fine!" and shoved past her, "That's what I wanted in the first place." And with that, he was gone to his room, one that now had no bars blocking the window, a bed, a desk, everything was indeed back... He wasn't sure how to react. Triumphant? He had finally won... But he didn't feel very victorious...

Bree gave one last look to his retreating form, before turning and heading back to her bed. What else did you expect? she mentally questioned her dissapointed feeling, It's not like he was going to snap back to the old Simon... gods how she missed her little boy... Sure he'd been a handful, but the way he'd looked at the pool after biting that boy, there had been remorse... And when he did it to Laial, it had been there too... She'd overreacted though, she knew that. And that fact was probably why all traces of remorse had completely vanished at this point.
