A sigh escaped from Roselia's vibrant red lips, quickly followed by words muttered blandly to the empty room, but more so to herself, "Nothing new...". Since the war started, every scripture, memoir and propaganda piece Roselia read never changed. The only differences she found in the readings was the standing of the author, which was, even then, a fifty-fifty guess; either showing undying loyalty to the cause of the war, or critical of the mass genocide being planned by the council and its head.
Roselia arose from the plush, satin chair, setting the scripture down on a small side table before walking back into the main hall of the vast library. Her sandals, with beige ties that rose to her knees, slipped softly across the marble floor as she made her way to the large, ornate desk in the middle of the circular room. Roselia smiled appropriately at the celestial behind the desk, "May I see that journal? The one I've been reading?" she asked the man kindly, and he quickly brought the small, leather-bidden book out from a drawer and set it in her hand with a nod. "Thank you," she said, nodding in return, then made her way out of the library in quiet haste.
Roselia opened the journal as she walked, the bright, vivacious light radiating from the city itself shining off of the paper, making it seem impossibly white. As she walked back towards the training grounds, she found the last page she had read, the next page, which had been blank, now had writing. Ghostly pale eyes read the new writing, turning the page systematically until she came to a point where words were appearing on a previously blank page. It was the journal of a celestial observer sent to the celestial base, Alpha, on Earth. As she read, the observer's words spoke of a small battle between humans and Sabidan and Rael themselves. Roselia's eyes widened at this news. No damage was done, but it was the human's act that had conjured suspicion in the celestials at the base. It was not a comforting thought; the war was showing signs of reaching its climax. Now that the Horde was on the move, and the Humans were showing their hatred to both allegiances, it would be arriving sooner than Roselia had thought.
With this new found suspicion in the archangels' minds, Roselia quickly set the journal down on the floor where she earlier stood, watching the soldiers in training. Her usefulness to the matter would be up to the council to decide, but it was her duty to her people to arrive at their side, whether she was summoned or not. With that thought she gracefully made haste towards the portal.

"Huh. I guess I will have to talk to rael about waht I've done." Rachdarmos walked through the portal and truged back to his training area. "Has anyone seen or heard of where Rael the Lord Archangel is? I must speak with him." Rachdarmos walked aroud hearing no one answer him. He found someone who had been reading. He watched as she sat the journel down and started to watch the training angels. "Excuse me. Have you seen or heard of where Rael is?"

Sabidan burst through the portal, bumping into Roselia. "Sorry.." he said, moving past her. He would properly apologize later, right now as too important. He grabbed his weapon as he set foot on the balcony, which overlooked the entire kingdom. He slammed the weapon on the ground three times, the force echoing through the kingdom. It was the sign of an announcement.
"My brothers. These are dark times, but they are about to get darker." He closed his eyes. Remembering the events. He opened them and continued speaking. "The Humans are no longer fools. No longer can we laugh at them. We must take them seriously. Today, they unveiled a new weapon to us in a most horrible fashion. They have struck Rael with their new weapon of mass destruction. He is okay, but now..." he clenched his fist. "Now, its war."

As Roselia neared the portal, a familiar man asked her the location of Rael. As she recognized him as one of the generals instructing the soldiers from earlier, her red lips parted as she began to answer, “I believe he is..” her speech was halted by the sudden force of someone running into her. Her aqua eyes quickly flicked over to the cause of the force, meeting the form of Sabidan, who muttered an apology and walked to the edge of the balcony. At his sight she knelt, her white gown swaying graciously, then fanning out on the floor. Roselia was alert now, her previous thoughts now washed from her mind as she listened to the archangel’s announcement. As he finished, she rose once again, pushing her crimson hair behind an ear, her expression weary, worried that the climax of the war had finally arrived. Even worse was the knowledge that the humans had injured the strongest of them all with this new weapon, prayers flitting through her mind for her wounded king.
Roselia’s head turned to Rachdarmos, the expression her face held clearly showing her current emotions, before striding lightly towards Sabidan. “Excuse me, dear Sabidan,” she presented herself before him, lowering her head in respect. “I will try to assist you in any way possible, just say the word.” Once again, she dipped her head low, her loyalty clear.

Sabidan nodded at Roselia. "Thank you, but I need no assistance right now. I am actually unsure of what our next step will be, I'm waiting for Rael on the final word." he said, looking back towards the tunnel. "He should be here shortly."

Rachdarmos ran up to Sabidan and he grabbed his shoulder. Rachdarmos quickly turned Sabidan around to face him. "Where is Rael? I must speak with him. It is of greta importace." Rachdarmos relized what kind of disrespect he was showing. "I.... I apologize lord. I'm.... Just in a hurry that is all." Rachdarmos let go of the Archangels shoulder and quickly backed up. He bowed respectfully and waited for an answer or punishment.

He turned away from Roselia and looked at Rachdarmos. "Relax, it's okay." he said, holding out his hand. "He's behind the portal, he's alright, just some scratches and all."

((I'm a bit confused as to what happened to Rael, but I left the character critically wounded and unconscious. Therefore, I am assuming that Sabidan brought him here. ))
From the shards of tattered dreams, he rose - unwilling. Tossed upon tides of pain that flowed and ebbed and left Rael searingly awake. Still, he lives. The last he remembers, a wall of destruction raced at him with such power and death . . . and yet all he could think of was protection for his soldiers. His people, he put them in place- told them to stay. The final moments of memory fragment in his mind. Racing to the site, yelling for them to run, the sound of shattered glass. His soul broke, the energy unable to withstand the power presented in opposition. All he did, and it was not enough. He is one of the strongest. If he could not withstand it, what hope did his subordinates have?
As he slowly returns to the living world, his body screams in agony. The wounds are deep, but not fatal. Perhaps if he had not used that shield, the pain would be . . . no. He cannot, must not think like that. So many depend upon him. Crawling up from where he was left, Rael barely suppresses several groans of pain as he makes his way to the throne. He must be strong, official. Taking his rightful place as lead for the Light, he speaks, and is surpised at how hoarse and rough it sounds.
"Sabidan . . . the soldiers. The camp. Are they alright?" He knew the camp itself was gone. Still, such was only buildings. They can be replaced and repaired. Rael cannot stand the thought of more lights gone out because he was not good enough. Please . . . please be alright . . .

Hans was in one of the courtyard's, training with his sword per usual, when the news reached his ears from the gossiping angels flitting by. King Rael had returned from the world of man, injured, apparently from a great blast trying to save the others in the encampment. He froze, his pupils widening in alarm, before striding away to find his King and to assess what the damage was for himself. You could never truly trust the mouths of others.
By the time he arrived at the throne room, he was just in time to see Rael seating himself and to hear him ask of those in the camp, his voice alarming Hans with how it sounded. He walked silently around the side of the room before coming up beside the throne, though still a fair distance away, to inspect the man he had devoted his life to. What he saw caused a slight tick to emerge in his right hand as his eyes narrowed, scouring the cuts and bruises with a critical look. An emotion, what had the others called it? Anger? Yes, anger, flashed briefly through his eyes though nothing else besides the tick gave away his upset, his face otherwise stone to those around him. Those humans were going to pay for what they had done to his king....

Degial bit back bitterness and tears as he gazed up at his King. His eyelids were lowered in serene reverence while he peered up at Rael from beneath his white lashes. There still was a throbbing pain but Degial bit it back. He was still holding Enami by the arm, his grip tight enough to be secure but gentle enough not to inflict pain. There were things he had to have Em do before the day was over. Business had to be taken care of as usual.
"My Lord..." He whispered, his voice soft and musical. Degial waited for the next command.

Mirina decided to travel to Sarra after meeting the metallic like human. However, Mirina wasnt expecting much from the residents of this world. She was a mutt to them, a mix. As she broke through the bright light, She looked unto the bright world. Lights seemed to shine off angelic like surfaces, half blinding the girl. She visored her eyes with her hand in a cup to her forehead as she walked along.

(Oh, I thought you were okay. Alright disregard what I said.)
Sabidan looked down at Rael as he sat upon the throne. He shook his head. "I don't know, I grabbed you and brought you here as soon as I could. I haven't gone back out there yet."
"A CAMBION IS HERE!" he heard someone scream. He nodded quickly at Rael, he knew he would understand. He spread his wings and flew down to the portal, his weapon at the half breeds throat.
"You've got some nerve coming here, Cambion."

Well now maybe I can tell Lord Rael what I have done. Without fear of being to ashamed. Rachdarmos walked forward to the injured bastion of Light. "Lord Rael.... there is somthing I must confess. I only wish to clear my chest of this horid guilt. I will accept whatever punishment you have for me when I tell you." rachdarmos kneeled before Rael respectfuly. He waited for a response or an okay from the Archangel beforehe decided to speak another word.

Rael looks to his commander with a scowl, accentuated by the scarring and wounds. His look now more Horde than Light, so wounded. A few bits of his tattered wings flare, pinpricks of light among the charred apendages. "You left them?!" Rising with great difficulty, Rael reaches down and pats his hip. His weapon was there . . . no, it shattered. No matter, here in the Sarra, he can get another. He begins to move off, growling. "Dammit, Sabidan! They must be accounted for!!! Survivors must be found, tended to. I must know what happened to them!"
Though far slower than normal, Rael begins to move out of the hall, furious at both Sabidan for failing his people . . . and at himself for not being able to protect them. As he passes Rachdarmos, he nods and speaks in a somewhat kinder tone- though it still sounds rough and gravelly. "Speak what you must, but be aware: I am not in a giving vein just now."
When the call goes out of a cambion being in the Sarra, Rael's voice booms loud through the halls. Strange, it sounds more like a lion's roar than the song of his normal cadence. "We have bigger problems than a halfling! Get me another Celestial Rod- NOW! Prepare the portal to the Alpha base on Earth . . . " Right now all that matters is the aftermath of the humans. His people- they must be prepared and saved.
