❄ Been out here too long, and I've just been lookin' for somewhere to belong ❄ Not good, not good. Belle though frantically, charging at Nam as Ace shot him in the chest. Letting out a feral growl, she clamped down onto his neck, only to find air where he once was. His body melted away, as if it were air."If only, ma Belle, if only! You of all people should know my powers." Nam chided the pair, laughing as he did so. "Now then, I'm assuming if I try and persuade you again, Belle, that it will have no effect." He sighed, and one could imagine him shaking his head. "I'm sorry to say, but I will now have to persecute you both." Instantly, all sorts of weapons came flying at the pair from behind the flames. Nam's laugh echoed into the forest, with a hundred times the volume.Belle instantly transformed back into her human form, whipping out a boot knife as she did so. She had found it in the forest a while ago, and since it was beautifully crafted and still in a very good condition, she had kept it. The sound of metal clashing rang in the air, as Belle tried her best to block and dodge all of the projectiles thrown in her direction. However, she was not so skilled or versed in the way of human combat. Rivulets of crimson blood ran down her pale skin as she bit back her pained cries, the weapons slicing her skin open. "Nam's… power is to create copies of himself, but none of them are really him. He can make them so realistic that even animals or shapeshifters like me are fooled. Don't expect him to reveal himself; no one has actually seen his real body for years, maybe even decades now." Belle informed Ace, licking her wounds clean of blood.❄ So can you save me now? ❄

Ace hadn't even noticed he weopons come at the two except the ones in front which he blocked with his knife as the ones behined had had no effect and were bounced right off of him, Ace had noticed Bele was hit and uses this information to pull a medium sized item out of his backpack then covers his weopon with the radar on it with a weird material "This is called an EMP or Electro Magnetic Pulse. Every living organism no matter how big or small has an electric field around them but if what you are saying is true then he has a higher electric field as he can create multiples of him self like this so by activating this any electronics will be shut down and anything with a high electric field will be put uncounces or atleast make it possible for me to see him." Ace turns on the device and all living magical creatures within a mile could feel a strange pulse go through their bodies causing them to lose their powers for some reason "I can't use this again for a while but I found him." Ace points to an area in the woods as he looks at his scanner and fires hoping he had hit the man even if in the arm or leg In a meeting room for the Magical Elders ----------------------------------------------- "Magical Elder:Is th......My...my god what has happened to the creatures here......?" All the Elders were in shock as they could not understand what had just happened to them and all other creatures around the area ((You don't fully lose your power its just gone for now))

❄ Been out here too long, and I've just been lookin' for somewhere to belong ❄ Belle shuddered as Ace set off his EMP, causing her fire to die the instant his device switched on. She felt… quite naked now, as her powers were temporarily stripped from her. Clenching her knife, she dashed over to where Ace had pointed, hoping to catch Nam by surprise."s**t." Nam cursed, feeling Ace's bullets slice through his skin as they grazed his face and arms. Jumping off of the tree branch he had been hiding on, he tried to create copies of himself, frustrated when his powers didn't obey him. "Damn that human and where he came from…" he muttered, trying to keep track of the both of them.❄ So can you save me now? ❄ [[Sorry, I'm going to go soon… probably after I post for Hexes. sad ]]

Ace had put the EMP in his backpack now that it was depleted but its affects would work for another two to three hours but then he started running towards the area he shot in seeing that he hadn't killed his opponent and shot at the area again hoping he would hit the man again "Found you Nam!!!"

❄ Been out here too long, and I've just been lookin' for somewhere to belong ❄ "No you haven't." Nam muttered under his breath, silently moving in the surrounding forest. He was still frustrated at the sudden turn of events, what with his powers being cancelled out by that damned package the human had pulled out. But he would have to pull this off, powers or no. Besides, there wasn't a thing on earth that wasn't mortal. Sure, the creatures of the forest had been around for centuries, but that was because they were touched by their magic, which caused them to have a longer lifespan and caused them to age slower than humans did. None of them were immortal, not even their revered elders. "You think you've found me, but have you really?" Nam threw his voice, so that it appeared he had been behind Ace. However, Nam was hidden up in the treetops, observing what went on below.Belle still felt uneasy as the effects of the EMP lasted after the thing had run out of energy. Trying to shake it off, she stood still, aware that Nam had switched locations. If he hasn't returned to the ground… the only other way is up or farther into the forest. She inhaled deeply, relying on her natural fox instincts to help her. He moved farther above us. she concluded, snapping her head up to the treetops. "Aim high." she said to Ace, crouching low to the ground. A second later, she was gone, shooting up towards the foliage above. Landing gracefully on a branch, she kept still. "Where are you, Nam?" she whispered, slowly moving from tree to tree.❄ So can you save me now? ❄

Ace thows an earpiece into the air and yells for Belle to catch as he looks back at his radar and speaks into the headset when she catches it so that the two can talk withought being overheard "If I had another one of our devices I could see him wheather he is using magic as you call it or not due to its scanners but my radar will have to do. He is about twenty yards from your Northwest by North East location." Ace then aims in that general location looking for movement

❄ Been out here too long, and I've just been lookin' for somewhere to belong ❄ Belle saw the earpiece in the air and snatched it quickly, staring at it for a while. "What do I do with this, Ace?" She called out, quite confused by his technology. Naturally, she nearly dropped the tiny headset when his voice came out of it. Holding it in her cupped hands, she replied to his comment. "If he was using his magic, I would be able to too. I still can't, at this point. I'll see if he's there." Belle said, trying her own illusion magic. No use; the effect of Ace's EMP (as he had called it) was still there. Holding the small earpiece in her fist, Belle darted over to where Ace had told her Nam was. He saw Belle come towards him, but didn't move, unsure if she had actually found his position. When it was established that she hadn't, he moved silently closer to her. Quietly, he pulled a piece of cloth from inside his shirt and poured some liquid on it. Coming up from behind Belle, he grabbed her roughly, clamping the cloth over her nose and her mouth.She felt someone grabbing her roughly, and as an instinct she tried to bite her attacker. Instead, a cloth with a sweet smell came over her nose and mouth, causing her to choke as she struggled. Fox instinct told her the intoxicating smell wasn't good, but it was too late; she'd inhaled the chloroform gas. Her eyes went blank as she went limp in Nam's arms. There wasn't even anytime to make any sort of sound."I'm sorry…" Nam murmured, carefully picking up Belle in his arms. "I like you, but you would know better than anyone else our duty, ma Belle." He noticed her hand was clenching onto something. Carefully but quickly, he pried open her hand to find Ace's earpiece. Examining it for a couple of seconds, Nam crushed the tiny device in his hand, letting the broken debris fall to the forest floor. Not wasting time, he set off quickly to the elders, seemingly disappearing from Ace's scanner.❄ So can you save me now? ❄

Ace gets to the position Senaka was last at seeing his head piece "....DAMN YOU MAN YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT'S GONNA TAKE TO FIX ONE OF THESE IN THIS PLACE!!!.....Well i'm screwed that girl....Senaka is gone my headset is broken and I am running low on ammo...Oh and I don't know where I am." Ace starts to walk further into the woods hoping to find Senaka or the elders

❄ Been out here too long, and I've just been lookin' for somewhere to belong ❄ Speeding through the forest, Nam paused for a second, listening closely to his surroundings. He quickly changed direction, heading further into the dark woods. Stopping, he shifted Belle so that he would be able to hold her with one arm and unsheathed a knife. Slicing his palm open, he placed his hand on the bark of a nearby tree. "Yãtrã" He murmured, and a hole opened in the tree. Stepping through he took no notice of the entrance closing behind him, continuing down the hallway. Twists and turns later, he arrived at the bottom-most level of the compound. Walking into a cell, he gently laid Belle down. "Take care of her." He said nonchalantly to the guard, not looking back at Belle's unconscious form. His footsteps echoed in the silent dungeon as he made his way to the elder's meeting room."Mmmmgh…" Belle groaned, moving her arm to rub her eyes. The loud clinking of chains instantly caught her attention, and she widened her eyes with surprise. This place… Belle thought disgustedly, covering her nose with her sleeve. Her sensitive nose could pick up more scents than most of the other beings here could. "It stinks." she complained, trying to form a plan to escape. If memory served right… "Hevit." she commanded, holding her palm up. Instead of a blue flame, pain surged through her arm as if the shackles were sending the magic back through her veins. Biting her lip to keep from crying out, she stopped trying to conjure her fox fire. The shackles still refrain anyone from using their magic… Sighing, Belle leaned against the cold wall of her cell, closing her eyes. I wonder what awaits me now…"…That's everything that had happened, milord." Nam concluded, bowing his head to the row of elders before him. They nodded, whispering amongst themselves about the current situation. "You may take your leave." One elder said, waving a hand at Nam. "…Permission to speak my mind?" Nam asked, keeping his head bowed. After a signal to continue, Nam spoke. "Please don't charge Belle with the maximum punishment. I believe that human she was with has persuaded and brainwashed her to help him. As I have reported, he has weapons that are unknown to us, so I think that turning one of our own against us is a simple task." With a tone of conclusion, he finally raised his head. "I bid you a good day, milords." He did an about-face and glided his way out of the meeting hall. His part of the meeting had been adjourned, and now he had to check upon the current worry of his mind.She heard the dungeon door open, and she could already guess who it was before he showed up in front of her cell. She didn't bother to open her eyes, feigning sleep. "May I have a private word with Ms. Renard?" The voice asked. Judging by the clump of boots moving away from the pair, she could tell she was now alone with the one person she didn't want to be with now. "Belle? I know you're awake; don't even try to fool me. Please, I just want to talk with you." Opening her eyes, her gray eyes stared coldly at her friend. "What's there to talk about, Nam? How you will be promoted in the magical hierarchy? Or about what punishment I will face? Or have you come to lecture me about how appearances aren't always what they seem?" She snapped back, crossing her arms over her chest as she found the wall to stare at. Anywhere was better than looking at that traitor's face. "You know I'd never do any of those things.""Oh? So tell me then, why are you here? There isn't any other reason for this meeting.""Yes there is. Belle, you of all people would know that I'm not some arrogant b*****d who'd go gloating in front of the loser's face.""Oh, you aren't? I remember quite well how you'd always rub it in my face how great you were when we were children.""Times have changed. I'm not like that anymore.""Then prove it.""You're impossible." Nam sighed, the palm of his hand meeting his face. "Look, I just came to tell you that the Counsel of Elders has not decided on your punishment yet. When they come to hear your last argument before your sentence, tell them you were brainwashed by that human.""You know I don't tell lies, Nam.""Your life is on the line, ma Belle. You would honestly rather die than tell this one lie to keep your head upon your shoulders?""I don't tell lies." she replied stubbornly."I don't think I'll ever be able to understand you completely, ma Belle." He gave another sigh, but there was a ghost of a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "But then again, that's what I like about you. Please just think about it, Belle. I'm begging you. Because… I-" Before Nam could finish his sentence, the guard came tromping back. "Sorry, but you time is up, sir." "Alright." he said calmly, though he was quite angry at the other's timing. "Just think about it, ma Belle. That's all I'm asking of you. Rester en sécurité, mon amour." He said as he walked out of the door.❄ So can you save me now? ❄ [[Sorry for the long post, but I felt like I needed to get everything in]]

Ace had been walking for atleast two to three hours before he noticed the sun was setting and it was getting dark "....Great my EMP's affect will wear off by noon tommorow and I am outnumbered most likely but if I can just recue that one girl I can survive here probably....but how can I find her? My infrared goggles can only do so mu.....what the hell is that?" Ace says looking at a tree that when looked at with infrared goggles says it has someone inside it "How...how the hell is that possible?" Ace takes his K-Bar and stabs the knife through the tree hitting the gaurd in the arm paralyzing him because unknown to Ace the tree gives off a highly paralyzing liquid that keeps most animals away and as the gaurd falls down partail way of the steps Ace climbs the tree and sees blood in the shape of a hand print quickly setting up claymore infront of the entrance "Well here goes nothing...lttereally." Ace stes off the claymore causing a big explosion ((It's ok and hope you don't get mad but this is like the only thing I could think of on how to find you.))

Acegets to the bottom of the stairs and uses his knife to kill one of the two gaurds and as the other tries to pull out his sword Ace stabs him in the heart and watches him drop saying under his breath "Yea can't do s**t without your powers can ya?" Ace walks up to Bella's prison bars and starts to whisper "Hey where are the keys?" ((Post....I am getting tired of waiting.))
