hellurr my name is Kaila and i, like you, am a Boo looser. Its ok to be losers. But not ok that i can't change my avitar unless i want this awesome skin to be gone. I guess i understand that we lost so we lose our skin, but i was just hoping that gaia would have gave us some kind of twist into keeping it. Like perhaps letting us buy it back with gold or cash or somethingggg. Gaia was cold blooded for this event. Espesially since this event sucked soo much a**.
I mean the only way you could really do good in the event was to get a lot of followers and that was hard and time consuming. But whats worse is the bastards gave us the option to BUY followers with REAL MONEY (aka gaia cash) which is tempting enough to work on me. Luckily, I only wasted like a few cents on the event to buy 10 followers, but iam sure there are plenty of people who spent a lot more cash on them.
Gaia should not have actual money involved in an event, especially if they are going to screw half of gaia at the end of it. Assbags.

Helloooooooo! I am SoulDruidKazeko, and you can refer to me as any derivation thereof. <3 I adore this BOO skin, and have spend a great deal of my time in my morning classes doodling my avatar, much to the despair of my professors. I have ALWAYS wanted Gaia to come up with a skin similar to this, and I am SO pleased with it. It's not perfect (nothing ever is), but it's become one of my favourite things I have in my invantory. I would be absolutely willing to save up 1mil gold or something insane like that to buy the skin. I may even be willing to buy it as a limited edition cash shop item (and I am STRONGLY against paying "real" money for pixels...). I feel very much that it would be a waste of the talent of whomever came up with this skin just to trash it, and I feel it would be a fantastic gold sink to give us a way to buy it. The event was super up until the end-- I am not upset that we lost. I am not upset that we didn't get to keep the skin. What DOES upset me is that there's no way to even buy a version of the skin, as there is for every other skin type on Gaia, besides (I think) the early zombie skins (2k6 and back, maybe?). So... yea. So there.
And that's all I've got to say about that. For now. Maybe.

Oh! Hello there. :>
First, thanks for the invite. A support group is just what I'll be needing, especially come Christmas time.
I'm Nishi no Kaioshin, but you can all just call me Nishi. It's a pleasure to meet everyone.
Sadly, I don't think I can complain or sign your petition, though. The way I see it, we lost fair and square. If you paid real money, that was your risk and your loss. It was easy to get followers for free in forums. I got maxed in under an hour just posting my follow link.
And as far as the consolation prize? I think it's hilariously cute. A skin that looks like a potato? A 'potato skin'. Get it? 8D And I'll wear it with pride one day. Consolation prizes are supposed to be crap, it's how the real world works. Consolation prizes come from the dollar store, not Macy's.
But for now I am wearing my original skin with glee. I think it's pretty, and I have no desire right now to change.

I was sort of excited when I was asked to join for some reason XD I wish I'd made my other account wear the skin. I hope it will somehow be brought back, because I think there could have been a better prize than just the skin, don't you think those cash shop items could have been the prizes..? Oh well. =w=

I hate that BOO lost our skin! I really liked the BOO skin! Besides, BOO was SO close to winning when there was a glitch that wouldn't let us fire for a whole hour! Then BOO got discouraged. We totally would have won if it hadn't been for that dumb glitch. >->

Heyas. I made this avatar the day the event ended, out of sheer fear that I'd never get to wear it at all. My fear was justified, as you well know.
My biggest regret is not dressing my mule better with the skin...I didn't really participate in the events because I didn't care for the actual items, so I just did the very first mission and got the skin then played around a bit before turning back to homework. I don't change my mules much, save for one, so I think the mule will have this skin longer than this account (I have too many avatar ideas and items for this one whereas the mule barely has anything.) But if I'd dressed her better with the skin, I would be perfectly fine. Dangit.
I just loathe the Potatoverseer and our inability to rid ourselves of it. I don't think it's ironic like others do, because well...how is it ironic? It's not even appropriate, given that BOO had nothing to do with potatoes...so, I don't get it. However, eventually, I'm going to want to change this av, regardless how pretty it is, but I'll never wear the Potatoverseer (if it didn't make me bald, prevent Oculus from equipping AND have worms, I might. But as it is, never.) Even if there was an eye option similar to these, I'd be all set. But no such luck.
All that rambling aside, I eventually won't have this skin anymore. However, I really like my av right now, and until I stumble across something I like enough to override my love of these eyes (it'd have to be a new item, likely) I'll be wearing it.

Kelsey here...I was determined to win Demonbusters and when Tuesday rolled around (because I didn't get on the internet Monday) and I saw that B.O.O. had lost and our skins became crying brown blobs...I was shocked, angry, and felt somewhat betrayed...

Hi all, I'm Lil. Along with many of you, I'm an avid hater of the dreadful potato skin. However, I'm determined to stick it out with the Boo skin however long it may take to (somehow) win our skin back! =)
