"Thats a good idea! Anyway my folks bought me a jaguar, I was thinking of asking that fit new girl Su to take a ride with me." He nudged Niko "Get what I'm saying?" They laughed. "How flattering." Su said approaching the trio. The boys stopped fighting to look at her and the girl smiled. "Although, I'm not quite that easy." I winked at the boys and the brown haired boy scrambled to his feet. I ignored him and held out my hand to the girl. "I'm Su."

"Oh, Is that what they're calling it these days?" Su asked, enjoying Max's discomfort. "Sure, I'd love to. Anyway I need to get some cigs and booze. Start of term party in my room tonight.everyone's invited." She grinned.

"Sorry Su I ran when they were fighting!" Sani Shouts. "As for you Niko put me down!!!!!" Sani said as she kicked niko and bit his shoulder.

"Well shall we get off?" Max asked "I mean...erm...head out in the car." He added hastily. Why did he have to act so stupid around cute girls. The only one he seemed at all comfortable ith was Sani. Probably because he'd gotten over that crush. Su laughed at him and nodded.
"I know the guy that works at the local one, he always serves us....though I guess it is technically breaking the law."

"Wow." She said shaking her head "This really is the school to grab yourself a rich man." Max smiled and held the door open for her. She climbed in. "Let me rephrase, a gentlemanly goodlooking rich man."

The ride there and back was great fun. It was still sunny so they had the roof down and the wind blew their hair around in a crazy way. They talked and laughed for the whole time and Max felt a pang of jelousy when she flirted with the server, although it had resulted in an extra pack of WKD.
Su was smoking and she handed him her cigarette, he took a drag then threw it out the window.
"Hey!"
"Don't want teachers to see." He indicated the bag at her feet "They'd confiscate the whole lot and we'd never get it back."
He pulled into the school car park.

Su laughed at the implication the teachers were alcoholic thieves and looked at her watch.
"Wow, It's half seven already. We were gone a long time. Must have been the stopping for ice-cream." Max laughed and gave his stomach a satisfied pat.
"Soooo..." Su said, batting her eyelashes. "My room?"

Max grinned and linked arms with her, dragging her to the dorms. She giggled and skipped along beside him. He knew it sounded stupid but he thought he was falling in love with her. She was everything he wanted to be, free and independent. He had the freedom and he was left to it but it wasn't because he chose that, it was because he was unwanted. He wanted to be wanted more than anything. To be considered, to be happy. They got to her room and she let them in. It was exactly the same as his...obviously.
