L , definitly 100% I'd choose him over any other character, hes very intellegent and uses common sense and strategies, he used what clues he had and made great inferences based on what happened although he didnt know what Light was planning all along, he still caught up with the challenge between the both of them, and he doesnt use his emotions and feelings to get in his way. He is also very focused on the problem and does everything he can to solve the case. with the addition to that, hes very hot and handsome looking and how he has a bit of humor made the anime even more interesting to watch. Unlike light, he never wanted to kill him, he just wanted justice, and btw for whoever likes Kira, i like him too, i just dont like Rem for ending L's life. But thats all why I prefer him over Light....
