Jake was taking a few test runs around the track when he noticed that ranchero pull out of the garage. "that thing hasn't moved in awhile. neo must be back from his long trip." he said as he drifted around the final turn. he looked up at the clock.

He crosses the line just as the clock hit 36.000
"we have a new track record of 36 seconds on the dot set By Jake Riley in his Shelby GT500." an announcer said. Jake pulled into the garage and parked in his spot letting his car cool down.

As Neo got to the track, he heard the track announcer say something about a new record. "That guy is good... Damn!" He yelled as the Ranchero blew a seal completely, spurting black smoke behind it. "At least it wasn't a..." a loud bang made him pause mid sentence, "piston going..." The old muscle stopped running completely, and Neo stepped out knowing the engine was gone. "I probably shoulda changed the oil..."

Coming in with a new car, he purchased a couple weeks ago, he finally had a good week off to come down to the track and start building it. The small Porsche 951 gave a throaty rumble, as the little turbo motored itself into the garage. The S4, sitting proudly in her glory, could not be seen under her small cover, so as to keep her fresh. He knew there was going to be much work to do, and he couldn't wait to get started. This new project was going to be too much fun. As the throaty rumble of the small inline four came into the echoing chamber of the large garage, Ciro pulled her onto the rack, and sat her nicely on the rails. Getting out, he inspected what was going to need to be fabricated, and what was already good to go. He knew the suspension, and all the basic components needed to be replaced, but some of the under-body was corroded, and needed a little work as well.
Hearing the news of his record be swiftly broken, Ciro merely laughed. His car was performing decently when he held it, but he had yet to put on new downpipes, a metal bi-pipe, and the new TiAL turbos. So, he was sure that he could shave some time. Going back to work on the Porsche, he began stripping the frame, to hopefully get back onto building her back up. The sleek car was being torn apart, soon to be made into a greater glory.

Neo got a tow for the old car, and watched as they set it out back of the garage again. "I'll need something to use while I look for a new engine... Maybe a break from the norm. Evo6 sounds good." Neo got down to the local car lot, and ordered a Lancer Evo6 from Japan. "I hate waiting. Oh well, taxis won't kill me."

"If the rumors are true, then a buddy should be back." Koza took off top speed into the track, His now iridecent red Porsche Carrera GT roaring down to the track. Pulling to a stop beside the smoking Ranchero, Kiro looks at the hood, then at Neo, then back and forth a few more times. "You idiot."

"What? It had been sitting for a while. Got an Evo6 on the way from Japan, so it should do decently after I get some parts on it. But I'm not touching the computer, hate those on cars." I walk over to the drivers window and smile. "Wanna trade?" I asked sarcastically.

Neo walked back to the old muscle car, hoping to find a new engine soon. "Well, once I've got a new engine in this, we'll give that a test out of the drag strip."

A black and red 2010 Eclipse with a red wolf on the side pulled around beside Neo and Kiro. The driver side door opened and Tory stepped out. "Yo! I'm kinda new around here and I was wondering if I had come to the right place for a good race." Tory smiled at Neo and Kiro.

"yeah, it's a good place. I'm out right now, my old Ranchero blew its engine, it had been sitting too long and I was on my way to get gas and oil when it happened. But I've got a brand new Evo6 on the way from Japan." Neo admired the Eclipse, the paint job expertly done. "Bet that wouldn't hold a candle to a 550 racing block on the track, ask Kiro, me and him tied on the circut track."

"Oh really?" Tory shut off the engine and got out. He then opened the hood. "I think this engine has a few things to say to that." Tory motions for them to come over. "This is a 265-horsepower 3.8-liter MIVEC V6 Six-speed engine. I has anti-lock brakes, fine tuned suspension, and it corners like a dream."

The soft rumble of the 2.7 starting up echoed lightly throughout the garage. Pulling out, Ciro saw the small grouping of cars at the garage down the way. Finding himself in a particularly social mood, he slowly made his way down to the end of the lot, and back up towards the small gathering. Ciro admired the other cars, inspecting the Eclipse in scrupulous detail, as he came up to the group, he saw his oil temp rising ever so slowly, and knew that within a few minutes, she would be as good to go as ever. He had fixed the boost problem, and should be peaking just fine now, hopefully with the new turbo set up, at about 32psi. That should give him another one to two-hundred horsepower, depending on how he tuned the turbo setup. Smiling inwardly, he was most pleased.
Ciro pulled alongside the eclipse, his Audi noticeably lower than his adversary, and stepped out, the car still running, hoping to build up the oil temp to racing heat. Hearing the last bit of the conversation, he smiled lightly. "No engine mods? All stock? You can't be just doing the cosmetic's man, you have to be keeping those slick looks up with just as smooth a run.." Ciro laughed lightly, once again looking over the Eclipse. Seeing Neo, he greeted him with a small handshake. "And how have you been, its been quite a long time since I've seen you around the track, hows the Ranchero? K.I.A.? She doesn't look too hot up on your lift.." His tone was filled with light concern, it was always a sad thing to see a beaten car. That meant he wasn't going to have fun..

Neo chuckled a bit, agreeing with Ciro. "He's right you know, engine mods can make or break the car. As for mine, it blew seals, and then a piston. Engine is gone till i get a new one." Neo saw a tow truck pulling in, with a car covered on the back. Smiling he ran over, and watched impatiently as the car was lowered of the truck. Pulling back the cover, he whistled as a brand new Evo6 was uncovered. "Well guys, as soon as I get the performance mods done, I'll be happy to give it a go." The Evo6 was spotless in the orange paint, the chrome rims reflecting every bit of light they caught. The engine was a stock 280bhp inline 4. "When I'm done with this, it should put out close to 700 horsepower, if not more."
