I really like her flaw set now, maybe some expansion on her virtues? Being polite and modest is good, but are there other ways she's enjoyable to be around?

I think there needs to be a bit more on Polite and Modest to separate them a bit better. Polite = she's considerate? With modest, does that also mean she tends to be encouraging of other people? This would tie into her Insecure flaw as well, since she seems to really want people to like her.

So expand on polite and modest, then? I can't think of another virtue to add ahaha ;;

Gonna add some crit here, hope you dont mind! biggrin

In reply back to your words, there is no need to add another virtue, just simply expand? n_n heart

Like being polite. How is that a virtue, or how does it benefit her/those around her? <3 and when she does her best to be polite/calm, what sort of situations do those entail? During a fight?

Merurulince

ON THE CIVILIAN SIDE

The character is pretty solid and well-figured out!

ON THE POWERED SIDE

It is a very minor thing, but for the Scout and Super attacks, how do the butterflies distract the opponent? Is the opponent simply distracted by them, or does the butterfly swarm obstruct the opponent's view of her? These two abilities also need to have specific usage limits concerning how frequently they can be used per day or battle.

Hi there! For clarification: yes, I did mean to just expand on those two. How is her 'polite' behavior different from her 'modest' behavior? People can definitely be one without being the other -- however, it IS generally considered polite to be modest -- so I was looking for stuff that makes these traits from unique from one another. I think you've done pretty well explaining that her politeness is out of genuine respect for others' feelings, and her modesty is from a genuine lack of an ego (as well as no interest in developing one), but more information on this stuff is never a bad thing if you can add it!

SENSHI SIDE:

Mikowski's normal and Super attacks actually seem... kind of weak, as far as senshi magic goes! I think you're limiting yourself a lot by going with a straight-up 'summon the animal' approach, especially considering that butterflies hold a lot of cultural significance all over the world.

Butterflies are associated with change, rebirth, freedom, happiness, and purity, along with being a symbol for the human soul. You could definitely use these qualities to give her attacks that distract enemies, but there's also potential for Mikowsi to be a support or healing senshi.

Support example: a butterfly swarm picks up a target and carries them some distance away. This could be used to help an ally, or make things harder for an enemy!

Healing example: a "Butterfly Kisses" move that summons a swirl of ethereal butterflies around an ally (or herself), which heal minor wounds. The Super upgrade could heal damage that's a bit more serious, OR heal more than one target, etc.

It's also okay if you keep the distraction moves! You just need to specify how many times she can use this in a battle. I'd also describe how the butterflies actually serve as a distraction -- do they just make it more difficult for enemies to see Mikowski because there are so many?

The Eternal attack would also need to be more similar to the first two attacks. A healing move is a very far cry from the distract spells she has at basic and Super. So, instead you would need some other sort of distracting or debuffing attack -- such as maybe a larger cloud of butterflies that inspires feelings of happiness and tranquility that make it less appealing to fight.

However, if you went with her being a healing senshi, you can keep the basic concept behind her Eternal attack. I really like the idea of a cocoon that an ally can emerge from with a lot of their damage healed. Since it's already a potent healing spell, though, it can't grant total invulnerability at the same time. It can serve as a minor barrier while it's healing the person inside, but at the same time that person shouldn't be able to walk around and fight while encased.

So, I think the cocoon shouldn't take a full two minutes to work its magic -- you would be out of commission for almost half the fight! You probably shouldn't have the cocoon be around for longer than 20 seconds or so. You can get away with saying that the silk barrier is thick enough that blades can't get through it, but I figure that any damage sustained while in the cocoon is kept after you emerge from it.

ADDENDUM: Sorry, I could have sworn that you had healing as a part of your Eternal attack! I'm going to keep these suggestions up, but wanted to acknowledge that.

As it is, a defensive barrier doesn't seem very sphere-appropriate. Cocoons are places of metamorphosis, not strictly protective structures, and butterflies in general are not very known for their defensive capabilities.

Oh, that's alright! It was somewhat of a last minute edit, so I apologize! Oops, how embarrassing.

As for her attacks... I don't mind changing them around!! I'll admit they're otherwise mostly the same attacks I came up with two years ago for a lack of better ideas. I think at one point I had thought of something like butterflies picking up and dropping a target, but then... I was like "but butterflies aren't strong enough to do that!!". I like the suggestions to change her over to healing, definitely, though.

As for explaining how polite and modest differ from each other, I.... think I can do that, too! Or, well, I will work on it!

Alright, edited her attacks!

As for her civllian side- would it be better to merge Polite with Modest, and to come up with a different virtue in place?

No need to merge them, you separated them out just fine! c:

As for the attacks, you don't really need a duration for her basic and Super attacks -- the healing can be instantaneous. However, for all three spells you should provide some sort of example of the types of damage they can effectively repair: bruises? scrapes? deep cuts? extensive trauma?

Alright, noted!

Annnnd edited! I hope this looks alright- I'm not the best at wording things sometimes.

HMMM just for the Eternal attack, I think it would be okay if she can't fully heal fatal wounds, but at least patch them up to the point where they're no longer fatal. c: You can also keep it the way it is, but I wanted to make sure before I stamped you.
