Flora winced, though cheered mentally as the plan worked (they weren't going to die!), taking a wobbly step backwards to avoid the blood from the monster, feeling a little tired out, for some uncanny reason. She wanted to reach out to grasp something, anything that wasn't a tentacle, though she turned to look back at the monster when Nerissa shouted.
Oh s**t.
Rea! She stumbled forward and reached out a hand, grasping desperately at the other sailor senshi. They were cutting it just a little bit too close! "Come on!" She wailed, getting ready to yank the other up and run in the other direction when she felt the other grasp her palm. Why did this seem so hard...and it was only her first day!

Well that was a relief. Step one -- Kill the youma? Check. Step two -- escape from this unscathed? So far so good.
She watched Eve wobble a little and took a concerned step forward, and suddenly the earth spun a little, and Pegasus found she really wanted to sit down. Lurching forward a bit, the teal-skirted senshi jerked back to try to right herself before she went crashing towards the cement. She wasn't even in heels, that was pathetic. The squishy, quickly decaying body of the youma didn't help the matter either though. Or the blood, gushing every which way, making its already slimy surface all the more slick. Well, she supposed it was her turn to get covered in guts. But at the moment, feeling as exhausted as she did, the strawberry blonde girl didn't care as much as she could have.
Another step forward, and she slid a little comically, unable to balance on the suddenly-imploding surface. She was going to fall. What part of 'land on the monster' had been a good idea? But at least it was dead, or dying. The police she couldn't care less about -- ******** you po-pos, don't you see the collapsing monster? Did YOU want to take care of that? No? Didn't think so. So stop pointing your guns at the wrong team.
It was only the distressed calls of her teammates that prompted her into action, and she leaped haphazardly from the monster, clearing the whirlpool and feeling her feet hit the ground uncomfortably, although she didn't buckle. She did, however, reach for Eve's hand appreciatively, the two taking off in Nerissa's direction.
Two attacks in a short period of time, not good. Right. She would make note of that. That would have been a nice thing for Astraea to have told them before all this.

"PUT DOWN ANY WEAPONS AND COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP," one of the policemen was bellowing. "I REPEAT -- "
This was time for exit, stage left.
The senshi didn't stick around to see what would happen if they came out, hands up or otherwise -- they were already running into the alleyway, the dying youma's thrashing distracting the policemen from the sailor-skirted girls. Nerissa still seemed bright-eyed and bushy-tailed -- but when they all launched themselves into the alley, their fukus melting off (after they'd hurriedly, pantingly explained the process to Flora, which mainly consisted of 'THINK YOURSELF BACK') picking over the rubbish to get to the other side of the alleyway.
"Well, that was ******** up beyond all comprehension," said Charys, summatively.

Flora was utterly exhausted and freaked, almost jumping out of the skin when the policeman started blaring instructions at them, treating them like criminals. Was it not blatantly obvious that they had just gotten rid of the threat? Sheesh, honestly! What was it with the police these days?
Luckily, they didn't have to run too far; Flora almost stumbled over her own feet, a rarity for a trained dancer of Crystal Academy. It was strange that changing back was not as glamorous as transforming into Sailor Flora, and vice versa. Did they really have to shout it every time a monster came by, while attempting to mask their true identity?
"Is being a senshi always like this?" She asked, panting for air as their pace slowed a little. "It's not always this close a call, right?"

The safety of the alleyway was welcomed with a sigh of relief and a groan, one hand going to her temple as she leaned back against the brick of a building wall, attempting to smooth out a headache. Which, truth be told, she was. She had never actually used her attack twice during one battle before, and she was finding that it was quite an unsavory feeling. She felt drained, mentally, physically, emotionally and whatever other way she could. A bed sounded wonderful at that moment -- she wanted to sleep for a few months.
That could not have gone worse.
"Nice to meet you too, Charys," She replied, pausing a minute before going still, suddenly reminded that her roommate had just awakened as a senshi. (As if she could forget.) "And Flora," she added after a second moment of mind-blowing realization. Well this made sneaking out a night much simpler. Letting out a tired breath, she shook her head at the question, a verbal response too complicated at the moment.
