((Do not take this post as meaning anything gameplaywise. I merely used Arumat for the fact that his character would probably be chosen, by the group, to perform the executions. The only thing this post should affect in the game is the death of Neku.))

Evening was starting to fall, as the last vote was cast. With this, though one vote was not cast, it was impossible to have anyone even tie with the votes Neku had accumulated.

Thus, they grimly debated over who should be the one to deal the killing bow...the one to end the life, and see if this boy was indeed, a cause of the multiverse ending catastrophe.

And thus, Neku, looking very grim, walked out of the in, followed by an unsettled Arumat. The rest stayed behind, not wanting to view the event. There, Neku kneeled, hoping that he would simply be sent back...not die.

Arumat pulled his scythe off his back, and held it up, igniting the plasma. Then down it fell.



After the deed was done, Neku's body, like Hiei's disintegrated, the dust taking forum of it's own. This time, the dust took the form of a short, strong, but otherwise nondescript chain. To those who had paid attention to Yukari's speech...she had mentioned that most were chains binding the event.

Neku had apparently been a chain, but nothing more. However, that was still one less chain holding destruction back.

The group then turned in for the night, with heavy consciences, and awaite the next morning.

DEAD - Neku (Innocent)

[Ban]

"S**t..." Ban said to himself as he watched the little girl dissolve into dust. He felt no need to go examine the magnifying glass. If it was like the gun, then it would just dissolve. Pushing his way out of the room, he walked back downstairs and sat on the sofa. He had thought that Neku had been the killer. But he hadn't been. That much was obvious by the chain. Pondering on who was the killer, he sat in silence.

[Fuyubashi]

...well then... I guess we were wrong...

"If Neku was innocent, then we have made a grave mistake... there is no way around that. I say that we all be as truthful as possible to each other. That way, the liar among us will not be able to formulate a story based on memory, but by his own imagination..."

Fuyubashi's face was grave and his eyes scanned the room in an attempt to avoid the bed that once held Eiko.

"I will start. I left you all at around 11:30 as you recall. From there I went straight to my room which is on the opposite end of the hall from Eiko's and entered it promptly. I took my pill, washed my face, and went to sleep. In the morning I woke after a good night's rest and went downstairs to meet you all. You all know the rest as I have been with you all ever since we met downstairs... I would like to reiterate though, that I never once passed Eiko's room as it would have been physically impossible to do so if I went straight to my own."

[[Tao]]

Tao poked her head around the corner and snuck in. She slipped up behind Eve and plopped down laying almost all her weight on her, likely squishing her, "Why is all the peoples looking at dirt pile? Tao has a much better one at home... Tao misses home..." Looking around at everyone's faces, she picked up that the pile of dirt wasn't a good thing like the kittens liked to play in, "If it's a mess..." Tao looked around, then down at eve, whose head she was still plopped on top of, "Bunny girl did it!" The bunny girl reference, originating from Rachel, a girl from Tao's past with bunny like features that loosely resembled Eve, or vice versa.

[[Accuses: Eve]]

[Eve]

Eve jumped when Tao jumped atop her head, who was this person?! And why was she accusing her? Bunny girl? Exactly what part of her resembled a bunny?! Feeling terribly confused and scared, her hair formed into a giant hand to gently pick the girl off her head, and took a good look at Taokaka for the first time. This accusation, coming from the girl who kept her head well-hooded with ominous red eyes and gigantic paw-like sleeves. And surely nothing nice and cuddly came out from the slits in her sleeves.

She was torn between taking Tao into consideration for the murder before Arumat spoke, hearing his voice from atop the stairs. That's true, C.C. did seem to jump onto the accusing bandwagon.

Accused: Cheshire Cat

[Arumat]

"Are you really so stupid?" Arumat sneered, giving a look that said 'Seriously?'. "You voted for Neku just as well! Using your own logic, because you blamed Neku as well, you could just as quickly be to blame! If I were a killer and I wanted him dead, don't you think I would have done so last night?"

[Tao]

Laying her ears down and making a frowny face, Tao hung limp in the hair, "Bunny girl makes hair move too? Please don't shock Tao. Tao doesn't like lighting. Lighting makes Tao's hair stand up and all prickly."

[Ban]

"Dodge what question? The question about stupidity? I ignored that, seeing as I shouldn't have to explain my superiority to a lesser being." Ban said, quite capable of playing the insult game. "Your observation right now further proves my point that I am not the killer. I'm not an idiot. Until I have had the chance to see the power, I wouldn't make a dramatic move. That is potential suicide." Ban said, returning the smirk. "And furthermore, what inspires more hatred in us? Seeing a dead purple cat? Or seeing a young girl? Maybe you, sorry, the murderer took into account that we would feel more rage over a dead young child than a cat. When people are in a rage, they tend to make mistakes. And you know what, maybe that's what this is. A mistake. Maybe I shouldn't be blaming you. But I am. I've fallen for the trick. And that's all I've got to say on the manner." Ban finished, glaring at Arumat.
