Ada crept into the kitchens after escaping the previous enslavement of her cruel, cruel masters. Walking here felt odd indeed. It felt most free, just with some chores to do. Ada quickly took note of another House Elf doing dishes and she walked eagerly over to help her. Ada recognized the tune she hummed but couldn't remember from where. Certainly her masters never sang such pleasantness!
"Hello!" she said quickly to the other elf as though she would be scolded if she did not politely start conversation.

Lana was at the last book now, and about to prepare pumpkin pie with cream, but she suddenly smelled a burning smell.
'Whats is its?' Lana wondered using her nose to find the source.
It was coming from the stoves.

A new elf name Hannah walked stiffly into the kitchen and looked around with a nervous look. "Hello? Anyone is there?"

Ada-elf smiled at the other new arrivals as she scrubbed a dish. She then became very curious if anyone ever found a dish that perhaps said "Slytherin rules" or something thereabouts... She also wondered what would happen if they magicked their chores... The cruel masters never cared as long as things got done. She thought it best not to ask, just do.
Her mouth opened to talk again but nervousness took over her belly of butterflies and she quickly closed it again and smiled.

"Oh no, nowhere else to be... Here is where to be!" Ada said perking up a bit more. "I'm Ada-elf by the way!" she said, hoping it would lead to more conversation. She hadn't ever met very many other house-elves before... This seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Lila Elf scrambles in to the new Giggling Pear and sobbingly says, "Lila Elf is very sorry she has been gone! She feels like such a bad, bad elf," She begins hitting herself with a near by pan. "Such a bad, bad elf!" gonk

Ada-elf jumped slightly at the Lila-elf banging her head with a pan. For humans, it would seem proper to stop her and help her restrain, but for a house elf... this is business. Instead she tried to start a conversation, perhaps to relax the other disheveled elf, "Any news from outside?" she asked with a polite smile.
