They hadn’t needed to dodge.
With the appearance of the brilliantly white constellation, which was all he saw of her before his line of vision was obscured by the strange black-blue thing. Aeos watched as it rose up in the air and lunged at the spears. It snapped what seemed like hands or jaws around the ice and exploded, simply obliterating them like they were mere toothpicks. He opened his wings to gather air beneath them to still before he fell down at her.
She’s dangerous! Aeos thought immediately, hands automatically tightening on his swords. He regarded her closely as the dark aura receded a bit, not quite certain whether this was Haveni or Ruin. However, in either case, neither were his or Seir’s allies, which meant that she had to be… removed from the battlefield. Or, probably killed, since he neither saw nor heard any sanity in her expression or crazed and frightening laughter.
“She’s Ruin. Or, the candle-maker, Haveni.” He called to Noctis, giving him a wary stare because of the blood on his face from no visible wound. “Can’t be damned to tell, but…”
Instead of speaking more useless words, Aeos considered would be his best advantage. He’d have to test her, as he wasn’t sure what that aura could do, ‘lest any of his allies charge in and get themselves killed. Gathering energy for a moment, but ready for any sort of attack from any of the other moonfolk gathered around Haveni, he spent a moment to turn the particles of water in the air into something more of a spearhead—larger and only one.
Cocking his head in something like arrogance, he sent it spiraling towards Haveni. So this Constellation could destroy small bits of ice, what could she do about a big one that wouldn’t snap apart as easily?
He allowed himself to drop to the ground next, landing in some drier area. Ice formed beneath his feet immediately, but the Constellation was already charging forward towards Haveni with his blades cocked and ready to taste soft flesh.

Haveni gave a wary glance back at Rhyme, an emotionless expression upon her face. Her eyes were possibly the only thing that separated her from Ruin, for she did not have blackness within the whites of any of her eyes. Slight anger replaced the lack of emotion upon her face.
"So, it is my fault, is it!?" memories from her 'complete' life seeped into her vision, the memories of the village turning on her...
Haveni lashed out at the moonfolk in front of her - devastating the ground around her with some poltergeist-like force. Her ears pricked at hearing the whistle of air being cut by ice once more.
"Is it really MY fault!?" her eyes locked onto that massive spear of ice. Her pupils retracted as if she was faced with a blinding light as she concentrated on it. Black swirled around her at her feet. In her head, there was laughter, maniacal laughter that pleaded for destruction and bloodshed.
She was fading in and out of her own control - whatever horrible darkness woke up in her was not easy to conquer. Haveni only stood still as the spear of ice came close, but as it was about to hit, the blackness which swirled at her feet rose up, defending Haveni from it, but the force was still enough to throw her backwards, sliding across the ground with the spear pushing against the black that protected her, until sliding to a stop.
Haveni staggered up, bleeding from being tumbled across the ground, and tilted her head, a wild and haunted look in her eyes as she caught Aeos' gaze as he was charging towards her.

Ro'ark frowned deeply as he turned along through the trees leading frei along. "The one I'm looking for..well..." he really hadn't needed to say much, the sudden ice storm that rained down on their opponents spoke for him. Awestruck as the attack was halted and literally disintegrated in mid air.."What in havens name? That one..is the one I'm looking for" he blinked slowly pointing to the ice constellation in the distance.."The one he works under, is probably the one who caused all this" though roark didnt truly know seir not personally at least.
"Haah, no need to sense them, specially when they've stuck so close to us..yes my friend frei, we definitely don't want to join the others. I think that might bring us far too much trouble to handle" who on earth was that female? She was certainly beautiful looking, if a tad frightening. The fact that one so frail looking could contain such powers rather startled ro'ark. Moreso even then the laugh that she'd let out..and here he'd thought there was none more cold then aeos.. Eyes trained on the erupting battle before him as he ever cautiously stalked closer to the scene.
Daskri moved swiftly a green and gold blurr seemingly stepping out of nowhere as he darted in front of haveni, braid whipping about to curl around his shoulder as he skidded to a stop in front of her.
He did not know the powerful white haired maiden and he didn't particularly care who she was at the moment. His only intent on intercepting aeos and his swords.
Glowing paint colored scythe balanced out in the constellations hands, feet firmly planted as he took a defensive stance, a stern glare set on the ice constellation before him. It was rare to see anything but a smile on the usually passive artists face, the scowl seeming strange and hardly matching with his features. Daskri was not the least bit pleased, not with the war, or the fighting, and certainly not with aeos attacking a woman of all things how low could he go!

She was angry..? But wasn't this destruction Ruin's fault? Before Rhyme could say anything, she was pushed back in Ikuto's arms by some unseen force, both constellations dragged back, now on the ground, tightly in Ikuto's arms. Realizing that most of the damage had been cushioned by Ikuto, Rhyme immediately looked upon the pirate constellation.
He stood up, scrapes marking his hands but it seemed as if he hadn't taken too much damage either with his long cloak protecting him. Nevertheless, the damage taken wasn't lethal but it stripped them of their energy from being at such close range.
--------------------------------------
Eyes finally stabilizing, it landed in his yellow state. Noctis couldnt help but listen to the ringing tone that she kept using.. It was as if.. this 'Ruin' or 'Haveni' wasn't.. at fault? She was a threat.. but wasn't she a good ally to Seir's cause? She was 'evil' right? She seemed to be evil. But .. she wasn't attacking Noctis or Aeos.. nor was she siding with any faction. Yet she had shielded the good side from Aeos's large ice attack. Did this mean she was 'good?' Or some other motive?
He took a split second to make this decision, jumping down, behind the constellation that blocked Aeo's swords. "Dont worry. I have no intentions of attacking." He warned, walking towards Haveni.
"Dude. Aeos. haven't you heard of letting girls go first?" He scowled at Aeos, wondering what reason the constellation had to attack the female. The female had only dispersed his attack. What reason was she here? Plus the fact, she hadn't seem to do anything to the evil side yet. She had just stepped out.. and seemed simply crazy for now. Besides, they needed to straighten this out. It was a complex situation. Hands stuffed in his pocket, he took a deep breath, facing Haveni. Was he even allowed to ask this question?
"Haveni--Ruin--- if you're not at fault.. then who is?" Noctis inquired, body posture tense. Was he doing the right thing? Would this action turn Aeos's and Seir's wrath against him?

Frei's train of thought was interrupted when shards of ice rained from the sky. "That one? He works for the one who you think is behind this?" He recapped what Ro'ark had explained, taking it all in. That was until some dark and black took the ice right out of the sky.
"It's her," Frei gasped, recognizing the white constellation right away. It was either Ruin or Haveni. But one had been the start of the curse. "She could be dangerous. What is that fool doing?" He watched as the other launched himself at Haveni-Ruin. "Her evil side is the cause of the cursed," he explained to Ro'ark.
He moved closer, hopping over debris. He heard as the constellation called out. She seemed confused. That it was all....her fault? Well was it? Frei wondered if she could really be blamed. After all Ruin was her, but...not at the same time right?

"Yes that one.." ro'ark shivered involuntarily, the spray of cold ice falling like snowflakes, the impact of the two powers colliding shaking the earth. "Her evil side?" ro'ark asked perplexed, shaking his head slowly as if trying to comprehend exactly what was being explained. "She..erm her evil side, is she the cause of this curse" he whispered carefully, sticking close to freis side as they maneuvered the debris.
It was hard to believe, that one lone girl could be the cause of so much chaos and destruction, that look on freis face. He took it as fear, obviously he had seen her before, and knew far more then ro'ark did on the particular situation.
"She looks dangerous my friend...if very innocent.." ro'ark sighed softly, maybe she was possessed. How were they sure she wasnt cursed herself? Holding his lantern a bit closer to his body in a protective gesture.

He managed a good look at her eyes before his blades were blocked.
Aeos was startled when Daskri suddenly appeared out of nowhere to stop his forward attack. It could have been expected, since they were in a battlefield, after all. Anyone could simply run in and attack him, especially when he was on the ground. Perhaps, he should have stayed up in the air and rained ice down still. At least, the advantage of air was there with him. “Move out of my way!” The Constellation of Ice demanded coldly to the green painter Constellation.
He gave the scythe-user a slight push, but his attention shifted towards Noctis as the gunner dropped down from wherever he had been. Aeos would have hoped that he’d attack Haveni, but no… what was the idiot doing? Trying to sympathize with someone who didn’t look quite sane?
“Noctis,” Aeos growled, as particles of ice formed into blades along side the icy Constellation. “If you give every female like her the first attack, you’ll be dead in less than a heart beat.” His eyes gave a soft glow as he turned most of his attention back on Daskri. He jumped backwards quickly, trying to avoid any counterattack there would be as the shards of ice spun towards the painter in the same movement.
“Neither Ruin nor Haveni is our ally,” he told Noctis, trying to reason. “Ruin may be good for our side, but we’ve made no contract. This one is Haveni, the candle-maker. If anything, she would be on our opposing side.” Aeos narrowed his eyes at said white Constellation. “Even if she wasn’t, she doesn’t look like she’s on anyone’s side. Save your breath.”
The Constellation tossed his head towards a flock of cursed moonfolk, who were not quite paying attention to the battle. “Come here,” he called with a tone of regal command that could not be missed. Aeos had not led a kingdom for nothing. “And fight!”
Once more, they became engulfed in battle as a tide of plagued moonfolk came to where he beckoned like soldiers to their general.

Oh, you pitiful little shadow... Haveni could hear the voice speaking to her in her mind again. "Neither side wants you," it continued. "Because you are neither good or bad, so you don't benefit either side."
Haveni crumpled to her knees, clutching her head. Tears shone in her eyes as she regained more of her senses and control, realizing entirely what was going on. Why had she had no control over herself? And laughing so hysterically just for destroying... And now, worst of all, Ruin was speaking to her. She had no safe place from her, anywhere.
The crumbling of another burning building caused her to snap out of her reverie. Her gaze moved to it, focusing on the firest which consumed the precious village she lived in. Burning, burning and crumbling. Her stare moved back to Aeos. You caused this... she thought. It's not my fault!
Her legs wobbled as she stood. The dust around her feet swirled away from her in a perfect circle, locks of her white hair drifting about her as if a wind stirred only around her. She didn't know what would happen after this. Surely, she would be banished from the village - or worse, they might turn on her and kill her out of fear. She should run away, far away, but...she couldn't just leave things like this.
She glanced again towards the fires.
The building aflame made a great crashing noise as it crumbled into itself, but slowly, then faster and faster the embers adn flaming debris began to gather themselves from it in the air, joining each and swirling, until just a few embers had concocted into a vortex of flaming debris, the heat rising and rising as they spun faster.
"You...!" her words were a horrid growl filled with disdain and violence, but they were clear, and her own now, as she pointed her finger right at Aeos. "This is not my fault!"
The swirling vortex of flame - the remnants of what was once her beloved village - now spun their way to Aeos with a turbulent speed.

Daskri easily met aeo's charge, holding his ground against the obviously angry constellation "I'm afraid I cant do that my friend. Whichever path this is you've chosen its the wrong one, and I feel its necessary to block your way down it.." daskri managed a half hearted smile, his tone of voice unusually pleasant considering the situation.
Pushed back as aeos darted away, the speed of the ice constellation impressive. Unable to attack directly as he was forced to defend himself from the oncoming shards of ice, the paint made scythe dripping away to splatter across the ground, the magical paintbrush being all that remained in his hand as he quickly drew himself a shield. Daskri hissed and ducked beneath it, wincing as the thick shards of ice thudded heavily against it shoving him further back. "H-honestly aeos I think it makes him a bit chivalrous don't you? One who's willing to think of women first, even if he is scum.." daskri huffed gruffly as he managed to stagger to his feet.
Eyes darting from aeos to the oncoming hoard he'd summoned after them. Truly what a cheap move..and what a coward, hiding behind his monsters. He'd never thought aeos would resort to such things, truly the ice constellation had changed a great deal. Then from behind the female spoke, daskri gasped as he watched the embers and flames compile together, the girls anger and destruction set upon aeos.."Ooh..my.." his chance to ogle the show of power was short as the small tide of cursed minions came on. Leaving aeos be with more importantly small matters to deal with. The shield like the scythe melting away as daskri drew himself a sword and dove into the fray against the plagued moon folk, slashing out against the first deformed one that crossed his path..

Discreetly zapping a mindless away from a tree it was futilely trying to uproot, Rosel stepped beneath it. Perhaps for the moment, the spotlight was not the best place to be. Given the cries and conversation buzzing around her, it seemed several from both sides knew this new being much better than Rosel did, and the little porcelain doll appeared to have quite the emotional investment in the situation. Whether it was due to the situation or she was simply that emotional all the time remained to be seen.
Content to let herself go unnoticed, she danced a small lightning bolt between her fingers as she watched the scene play out before her. Aeos seemed to have a bit of trouble getting into fights he couldn't handle, and Noctis was suddenly far too soft for her liking, and a series of consistent warning shocks about her person seemed to be fairly effective when the mindless suddenly surged forward at Aeos's command.
However, despite her misgivings about Aeos's judgment, he was one of her two allies, now that Noctis had turned into a soft-hearted patronizing b*****d (let a woman strike first, what patronizing idiocy...) and who knew which way this Haveni would sway. Seir was floating about somewhere, he'd pull Aeos to safety or something. If Aeos couldn't float himself out of it. But this Haveni could be slowly losing her mind to the Curse for all any of them knew. This being was no different from any other twilif or phyri they had dragged out into the street, only this one seemed to have lost her mind, with a little too much power than was truely safe for one that inbalanced. And all of this 'it's not my fault' nonsense...
Rosel's head slowly lowered and her hands clenched. Snapping an arm up, she threw a fat bolt of lightning that toppled three mindless and gave the others a reason to keep the path clear. With a frustrated growl she stormed over the bodies, not caring that she was practically covered in mud from the knees down. Once she had a clear shot, she snapped her arm up, sending a bolt at the feet of Noctis and the mysterious Haveni. Irritation and frustration sent her shot awry; she had intended to fry them both.
"Of course it's not your fault, it's OURS! Even if you are Ruin, the Curse only provided the means, the end was OUR CHOOSING! Don't come in taking our credit away with your guilt!"

From the moment her feet had touched the ground, what had been apparently 'mere' chaos had become catastrophic. When the crystal wielder had thrown up her gleaming red shield, Zahara had dispersed her weapon and had been preparing to throw up a shield of her own.
But then the world had exploded.
The backlash from the newly-arrived white constellation's defensive and offensive strikes had been very powerful; throwing Zahara's rather delicate frame back into the smoldering remains of a wall. Luckily, Zahara had somehow managed to stand and stumble away with only bruises and minor cuts just before the white constellation used the ruined building as her newest weapon.
The pain radiating off her is... unbearable. Who is she?
Zahara stared, torn between approaching and succumbing to her exhaustion. She could use her light to soothe, but not heal, exactly.
Deciding she had nothing to lose, Zahara darted over to the white constellation's side, reaching out to try to talk to or comfort the girl, only to be frozen once again in place by the sheer magnitude of the girl's power as she directed a flaming vortex at the attacking ice constellation
In vain, Zahara turned and cast a net of light, trying to at least slow the flames: but as ephemeral as both flame and air are, light is more ethereal than both other elements.
Suddenly much more leery of the aura visibly surrounding the white constellation, Zahara took a careful step back and forced herself to summon the energy to speak loud enough to be heard.
"Please, miss, you seem to be in so much pain already... can you live with the guilt of causing further destruction and death?"
The ice constellation had been attacking the small group she had joined, but from Zahara's point of view, that spinning inferno could wipe out everyone remaining in the village if it struck something
...or rather, as it looked now, when it struck something.

"Dead at the hands of a pretty lady of my choosing. Just the type of death I'd enjoy most, eh?" Noctis commented to Aeos, his frivolous nature was getting quite irritating at this point.
But in a few small minutes, the situation had gotten quite messy. First, he had a crying constellation next to him. She was also attacking his (supposed) ally, Aeos. Secondly, there was an incoming attack from Rosel. Damnit, it was always the girls who made things complicated. Aeos could take care of himself. That was, at least, what Noctis figured.
He stood in front of Haveni, unmoving, unwilling to let lightning hit, what he labeled, a damsel in distress. Too much was happening at once. Black lightning struck him, the lightning injuring his leg, blood stained the white coat red. He couldnt depend on this leg too much anymore. But he was made out of tougher material than that. Surely, Rosel knew she couldnt fry him with a single attack. Several bullets shot out, aimed at Rosel's location. Dust flew all around them, clearing up to reveal two guns pointed at Rosel. Murderous red eyes focused on Rosel's dark image, his mouth set in a grim line.
"Hitting a crying girl. I guess you wouldnt have any manners for a girl, being a girl yourself. .. Lightning lady. Didn't I tell you, next time you shot lightning at me, I'd shoot you straight back?" He set up a battle stance, legs spreading apart as if getting ready for another attack.
"Trying to fry me.. Should I take this as an attack against me? I have nothing against Seir or Aeos. But you..We're settling our previous squabble. Here. Now." He demanded, wiping the previous blood from his face with a smile, red eyes challenging Rosel. His argument with Rosel was less about Haveni but more about the fact Rosel had tried to fry him. Like a chicken. What the hell, he hadn't even done anything. Except being his aggravating self but when was that a crime?

Aeos regarded the flames with a tendril of worry. Certainly, Haveni hadn’t seemed like a fire Constellation before, but the rather angelic looking male reconsidered the thought. As he watched the flames and debris gather, Aeos took a step back, jostled a bit by cursed moonfolk as they continued without much more than a grunt. Oh, he didn’t simply stand there and stare. That would have been stupid of him, and he didn’t survive battles being foolish.
The girl blamed him, and he had tried to kill her. That should have been enough reason for a counterattack. Mouth pressing into a thin line, he gathered energy himself. Aeos couldn’t be bothered hoping that any of his allies would come save him. They weren’t the type to, except, perhaps, Noctis, but only for the fairer gender of their species. What unreliable allies, the icy Constellation thought as the vortex of flames and debris flew towards him.
“What an useless brother you are,” Seir murmured, suddenly besides his younger sibling, slamming him down on the ground. The darker Constellation lifted his head, stealing Aeos’ energy and powers to meld with his own as he stared at the fiery thing coming at them. “Can you not do anything correctly?”
And, then the fire hit them.
Flames and scorched wood and whatever else inside, slammed against the area like a comet. Killing the Cursed and taking down whatever else that lay around and beyond Haveni’s aim. It settled moments later, the calm silence that suddenly seemed to curl around them for the barest of seconds before chaos seemed to erupt within the cursed folk. What of them if they had no leader?
Who would take over? Should they continue to destroy and wreck this wretched village? So many questions… Their gazes shifted between Noctis and Rosel. Could they?
“Oh, shut up,” murmured a voice that was both Aeos and Seir that vibrated loudly for a moment. Large slabs of ice sprouted from the ground to part the debris on top of them, revealing only dampened wood, ice and debris under the flames. They’d manage to shield themselves with thick barriers of ice and douse the flames with water. However, they came out with wounds that bled and burns that had seared through some of their clothes.
Seir pressed a hand to Aeos’ shoulder, glowing a little to return what stolen power he could for now. His eyes swept towards Haveni, Rosel, Noctis, and the rest that gathered, mouth curved into a rather playful smile despite looking alarmingly worse for wear, but undoubtedly alive. “Petty squabbles aside…”
“Haveni,” he called as his gaze shifted towards her, voice back to only his own. A soothing tinge reflected in his tone, pulling warmth when he felt none. “Blame yourself if you wish, but make no mistake that this particular chaos is ours. Had you a hand in it, we would have welcomed you gladly to our side. However, we are the only profiteers of this war.”

Jadecrystal simply began to sob as she ran into the fray and dispatched Cursed after Cursed.
"I wish it wasn't so..." she whispered to herself, blood (both hers and theirs) running red down her body. The tide of battle may have been turning, but with it slowly went Jade's sanity.

A look of despair flashed upon the Espion's face for a moment, as she tried to think of a way to console the child. "Well, first of all we should get out from the open, dear.." she said, trying to sound reassuring. She glanced over her back, as she heard sounds of the battle intensifying.
So, she had finally shown herself. Things were truly getting out of hand here... Something needed to be done, and soon. Sadly, her power alone wouldn't do anyone much good.
"Climb onto my back, little one, I'll take care of you.. we can stay here and I can protect you, or I can take you to where it's more quiet, you can choose.." she said, lowering herself so that Aulora would be able to do as instructed.
She would be able to hide them both if needed, for she wanted to see what would happen next, even though the little phyrefly was her first priority for the moment.
