This was absurd. This was getting out of control. But most of all, that man was indecent!
The paladin knew that she couldn't control the situation of what had happened. People getting delirious while madmen and criminals were on the loose. But she couldn't believe what she was doing right now.
Galloping Tuomas down the street, Isadora rounded up her rope, now made into a lasso, and tried to capture the madman for the umpteenth time. She admitted that the man she tried to capture was quick. However, she didn't expect the lasso to slip right off of him.
Earlier, Isadora saw a naked man muttering nonsense to himself. When she tried to call him what the month was today, he didn't reply back. Could it be that he was in his own world? The paladin did shout to the man to hear her, but got the same response. After two minutes, the paladin was confirmed that the man was deaf. However, it was her job to take him to the health clinic.
But when the paladin tried to grab his arm to guide him to the nearest health clinic, his arm slipped right out of her hand. Not to mention that her hand was now covered in grease. It wasn't until she saw the man began to run away from her, screaming nonsense gibberish along the way.
So now, the paladin twirled her lasso and threw it at the madman. The ring of the lasso went over his head and onto his shoulder.
"Got you!" Isadora cried as she pulled the rope. However, the lasso slipped out of him again as the man continued to run.
"Grr," Isadora let out a frustrated growl as she continued with the chase. Hopefully, someone would help her along the way.

Addled criminals on the loose? A break in the local insanity institute? Babblers, ravagers, strugglers on the streets?
The gods decreed it was not enough.
The beggar who'd been rendered unconscious by the irate scholar, Derrin, seemed as still a corpse throughout the course of these events. But in a flash his head snapped up as though he were awakening to the crowing of a c**k. Frantically his tired eyes examined the skies overhead, seeking an unspoken language in the gathering clouds.
Immediately but clumsily he rose to his feet, issuing shaky breaths as the wild look from before rekindled in his sightless stare.
"The passion of Gods!" he wheezed, stumbling down the street toward all signs of life, no matter how raucous, no matter how life-threatening. "Their ambrosia, the essence of the Sun! It is welling up from the depths of our home! It told me so! It told me so!"
As he spoke, it became a little more clear as to what he was shouting about now.
There was a surge of smoke along the streets. In some obscure part of the area, plumes of fire had consumed several buildings, radiating torrents of heat which licked along the cobbled pathways. Some citizens stood helplessly outside to watch their homes burn. From within, a mother and child cried out as flaming rubble crashed down around them, obstructing most passages of rescue.
The perpetrator — a hard-driven man perhaps not even 25 years old — was bolting away in rags of poor, lifting high over his head a blazing torch of some kind.
"Hail Paggy!" the man cried as he barreled along, lighting fire to any building or horse-drawn cart or carriage that looked flammable. His muscles were atrophied on his penniless bones and his eyes were as sunken as the moon's reflection on dark waters. "The filth and scourge part! Make way for the Light of Paggy! She who proclaims her righteous will upon the sins which we bear, do deliver her judgment through her faithful!"
The man bolts further down the streets while the more sane citizens scramble to flee their burning homes. He brandishes his torch as he goes, sweat cascading down his reddened face. "Make way, make way! The filth and scourge part for her disciple, her prophet!"
"Prophet this, ye heathen!" an old woman bellowed from her window, and she proceeded to dump a bucket of filth upon the man's head. "Almighty Paggy knows not ta entrust 'er judgment in liars and thieves like ye! You hand down that fire, yeh hear —" She fights and struggles as her daughter attempts to pull her back inside. "I've seen it, the divine vision — Ain't no heathen gonna dirty up 'er immortal teachin's — !"
A knight galloped down the streets atop the back of a charger horse. While he was not hollering or shrieking things of unusual nature, something in his eyes screamed of a phantom that none other could spot. He sets his lance much like how a jouster would and his horse thunders after an unseen entity, nearly trampling others in the process.

What was going on? The moment Elhaym stepped back into town things were...how can she put it in simple terms...CHAOTIC! My word! This was even beyond how she imagined things went.
The floor started to tremble a bit, Elly turned her head and suddenly rolled to the side "Waaah!!!" she cried, hitting the dirt as something or someONE came riding by on a horse. What was all this!? She frantically got to her feet, patting the dust off herself.
"Hey!!' the sniper screamed slapping some random person that suddenly approached her from behind, yanking at her swallow tail coat.
"BIRDIE!!!"
The woman spoke. "B-Birdie?? What??" Ok, NOW she was officially confused. What had HAPPENED. Elly ignored the woman and ran to find someone, anybody from this....guild...people spoke of..or SOMEONE that was still SANE.

Tristai was developing a splitting headache. Why was it that everything seemed to be getting louder, even while she was inside? Wasn't the town guard patrolling and taking care of this crap? She grabbed her sword and cloak before twisting her hair up in a bun and leaving her house, locking the door tightly as she left. The last thing she needed was someone breaking in while she was out... Someone immediately grabbed her cloak, in fact the same beggar she'd thought she'd taken care of previously.
"Oh for the love of..." She thrust the hilt of her sword into the... well, she still didn't know what this was, person's forehead, leaving behind a growing black and blue welt. She snatched the end of her cloak back, taking off at a run down and out of the alley...
Right into someone that was running passed the alley at just the precise time.
"Would you people go throw yourselves in a mass grave alread-" she stopped, staring at the terrified looking girl in front of her.
"Are you... coherent...?" She took a half step back, not sure who this girl was or if she was in her right mind or not. It certainly was getting damn hard to tell. On one hand, if this girl was as crazy as the rest, she didn't want to spook her into a... well, crazy attack. If she wasn't crazy, she looked lost enough, so she still didn't want to frighten her.

Elhaym nearly screamed when a person suddenly approached her. Was this person insane also?? Was what rang through the sniper's head. If she had to deal with another insane person, who knows what Elly will do.
"Are you... coherent...?"
Coherent? Oh thank god this person was SANE "I-I'm not insane if that's what you mean!" Elly blurted out. Not even thinking what the woman event meant at the moment. She just wanted some answers. "..W-What's going on here?" wondering if this person actually knew any answers..or something for that matter.
Or rather, was this Eyris? What Batre had explained to her on where she was in the first place? "I left for a few hours or so..and..and I come back to..well...THIS!" she extended her arm, pointing behind her to the chaos that roamed around the paths in between the buildings. Though this person seemed..sane...the fact that her sword out didn't make her feel a bit relaxed one bit...but one can't be too cautious considering this situation..then again..Elly was gripping her bow and ready to draw an arrow at any time.

She breathed a sigh of relief. This girl seemed flustered, but her claims of not being insane rang true.
"...I woke up this morning and some lunatic was banging on my door for half the day, but I didn't realize it was this bad until I just came out here. I have no idea what's going on, I was going to go demand answers from the Town Watch, but from what I can see they have their hands full too."
The ranger looked down, realizing then that her sword was out rather blatantly. She slid it into its sheath that hung across her back, crossing her arms in front of her.
"Its almost like there's something in the air, making people desperate... but it only seems to be taking effect on the people who didn't have homes to take shelter in. I think every truly sane person has done the smart thing and locked up their doors and windows..." Tristai's perpetually monotone voice trailed off. She looked up and down the street, although she gave away her partial blindness by having to swivel her body to fully see completely in one direction, in order compensate for her missing eye.
"Do you have somewhere to go...? I would think it best to copy what other people are doing, and board up inside..."

"I-If only I was able to.." Elly spoke, looking to her left and right before she slipped her bow to hang against her quiver. "Unfortunentally..I-I'm still new to this entire area..so I haven't...exactly had a chance to settle in just yet.." if what this woman said was true, then perhaps that was the best solution at this moment..but what can she do?
If only she knew. Finding someone to board in with was out of the question and with multiple..who knows how many insane, lunatics were running around..it was a little hard to even FIND a place to hide. She turned back to the woman "..What...what about you?"

"Oh- you arrived only recently? Hmm..." She felt strangely compelled to help this stranger, and it was largely out of character. Perhaps she'd spent far too much time with Victoria, her bishop friend who went out of her way to assist even a turtle on its back?...
"I... do have an apartment here, it's back down this alley. It isn't much, but it's a step up from what I had in Jehanna..." Tristai, in general, was a rather private person. Her home, on the inside, was also quite a mess.
"But... I live alone, so... I mean, this is bizarre, but I guess a town full of fire and criminals and lunatics is bizarre too, but... you can stay there, if you'd like, I can give you the key." She gave a sort of shrug. She didn't even know this girls name, come to think of it now...
"My name is Tristai."

"J-Jehanna..?" for some reason just hearing the fact that there were others from the continent of Magvel put her at ease. Just knowing that the person known as Tristai was offering her a place to stay put her at even more ease. She shook her head once she mentioned that she herself lived alone.
"Its..its quite alright..It was like that back in Frelia for me as well..but I'm quite relieved to hear someone from Magvel" Elly looked up, smile formed her lips as she looked at up Tristai "I'm Elhaym..but you can call me Elly if it is too long"

After a while Melethia relaxed a bit. She might have just lost the guy. She sighed and a smell caught her attention. It was the smell of something burning. She looked up and saw smoke. She sighed in irratation.
"Great," She said to herself,"Someone is setting stuff on fire. I'm going to get blamed for this. Because they KNOW that the fire loving red-haired female LOVES to set things of fire. I'm not doing it this time!" She then covered her mouth. She went from talking to herself to yelling at herself. Alot of people could have heard that.
"Crap..."She thought,"Nice of you to just tell people where you are Melethia!

Each of us will do all we can... >{Leon}< .o{Leena}o.
For the only home we've ever known. "Restin' time's over." Leon said suddenly, coming outside with the Knight Crest still hidden on him. He'd appreciated the morale boost that Leena gave to him and Anri, but there was no time to be wasted. He had a feeling that the situation was only getting worse as he waited, and yet... Leon felt so small in the midst of crowds and crowds of insane civilians against him, one man.
A man in armor, but still one man. One with a duty no less. To linger here would surely make the problems escalate. Knowing the nature of animals (and that people were just animals after all), Leon just knew they'd get violent and no time flat, and the hardened criminals would try to blend in with the masses in order to get away with thier transgressions. "Anri, let's go. An'... Leena. Keep yerself safe, ya hear? Use tha' forge hammer o' yers, cuz I dunno when I'll be back. We're bein' more outnumbr'd every second." Keep myself safe. That was the first times that she heard Leon ever say that to her, and he even admitted that those on the streets might not be enough? What was happening, where he had such a lack in confidence? Were the Watch and the Guard that easily outmatched? It couldn't be true!
But I won't take any chances. Since she now owned the shop and the property, she'd have to do the one thing she hated, but trained for almost all her life working the forge: use the hammer for violence. And so he was once again back out on the scene. Not long of a break, but long enough for the knight to clear his head. Unfortunately, it seemed like not everyone was having a clear head. There were still many insane people running about the streets, but already, the violence had started, as he predicted.
A sort of templar of a religion of 'Paggy' had torched several homes, and was calling people 'heathens.' His war horse was going into a thundering charge, almost resembling Anri's.
"Oy, hold it right there!" Leon shouted. But the templar didn't seem to listen, and instead kept charging. The Lieutenant grew impatient, riding to the other side of the zealot. He had his Killer Lance outward, familiar with one of the most basic moves of the Archanaen Cavalry Squad: Jousting. Nobles paid to see something that was a trainee's battle tactic, rediculous, but at the moment, all that was on his mind was striking the knight on the other side of him.▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪ For I am the protector… And I am the creator.

"Would you like some help with that naked guy?" she asked Isadora. "Where does he need to go? Seemed just fine on his own..."
Rad approached Isadora while she was chasing Greased Up Deaf Guy. She could offer help, offer it for free. Just to be a good Samaritan.

The paladin had been chasing that man for a while and she was still getting nowhere of stopping him. The man continuing to run, muttering gibberish nonsense and waving his arms around while being covered in grease and nothing more. It was useless for the paladin to lasso him again. He would just slip again with his grease.
Using another tactic, Isadora unsheathed her shield as she chased the man. She then tied her shield with the rope and began to twirl it over her head and she followed the man. Her shield twirled faster and faster. Felt that the time was right, Isadora swung the rope down as if she was swinging an axe.
The shield flew over her head and flied across as if Isadora was fishing. As the man continued to run, the shield slammed down onto his head. The man fell down.
"Got you!" Isadora cried as she galloped forward. If she was unable to capture the man by lassoing, then she would have to knock him down. Who knew that she would smack the guy up with her shield. Once the man was down, Isadora quickly got off her horse, ran to him, and tried her best to tie him up with the rope. It wasn't easy tying the man down if he was covered in grease.
Once the man was secured, Isadora heard someone calling to her. The paladin looked up and saw a woman approached her. Judging from her call, it seemed that the woman was sane.
"No, I got it under control." Isadora replied as she tried to pull the man up. She would have use her cape to cover the man, but then she would have to burn her cape afterward. When she heard the woman spoke that the man was fine on his own, Isadora frowned a bit.
"Sorry, but this man is not in his own mind right now. I'm going to take him to the health clinic so he can get some help. I suggest you should go home and stay there till further notice. There are madmen and criminals on the loose and I don't want your safety to be in danger."

(Heath wins for awesome Family Guy reference)
Aran was still dealing with that one childman, now he proclaimed he was hungry! Luckily for him there was an abandoned food stall nearby, so he somehow dragged him over there and he sat quietly.
Thump.. Thump... Thump. Was all Aran could hear afterwards, as a man on a horse that seemed to be armed, was charging in either his, or everyone elses way. But he jumped out of the way just in time to avoid being trampled, but his problems came back as soon as he had left them.
"Hail Paggy!" Cried an old man who was carrying a torch, AND he used said torch to start burning houses and the lot. At least a sane woman had dropped a bucket on him to stop him, but the flames carried on. Now everyone was running away from this fire (Or oddly enough, towards it)
And Aran was one of them, as a family was trapped in a burning house. He rushed to their aid, tearing open the door and clearing the way for them to evacuate. "This way, dont panic!" He said as fire had broken in from the top floor. Luckily though they had all escaped
