Ophelia pondered what Tian said for a moment, he was right, both he and Epsilon were so very nice and good. So what was it that made angels so special? What was Dmitri's hang up with them?
"But it would be nice to be birds, they're so pretty," she said, adding her thoughts to the bird idea "and they can fly. It would be nice."

Epsilon laughed, the sound gay and unfettered. "They are pretty. I bet you'll be able to fly when your wings grow bigger Ophelia, just you wait." The teen said. "You'll be sailing through the air in no time. Not like Tian over there. He's too big." Eppi teased.
If Tian had been the kind of person to stick out his tongue, he would have. However, he wasn't so inclined and merely rolled his eyes at Epsilon. "I can to fly. Or at least...I think so." He paused. "How did I fall from the sky if I was not flying in it before?" He asked. The question went unanswered because Epsilon didn't know.

"I hope so, I'd love to fly," the little girl said excitedly, her wings needed to have some good use after all. Hearing that Tian thought he could fly made her even more excited. "You can fly? Really?" she asked, ignoring the 'I think' part of his statement.

Tian's finger was twining through his shining hair yet again and Epsilon was giggling like made. "I think." He emphasized. "I have not tried it out yet. I suppose anything is possible though. Have you ever tried flying Ophelia?" He asked, curiosity in his voice.
"I have a trampoline." Epsilon piped up unhelpfully. "That's sort of like flying."

Ophelia shook her head no, "No. I thought about it a couple of times. I get scared though, that its not going to work and I'm going to fall." She nodded in agreement with Epsilon though "I jump on my bed or the couch when Dmitri isn't home, its a lot of fun."

"I know. Isn't it?" Epsilon replied excitedly. "For just a second, it feels like real flying." He paused, lilac eyes lighting up in an idea. "Oh! I know! We should get together again for a practice flying session. Wouldn't that be great?" He asked both Tian and Ophelia.
Jin Tian blinked, looking down at the cute little girl who's hand he still held. "I...do not know. I do not want Ophelia to get hurt."
"No worries." Eppi scoffed. "We'll set up a foam pit or something. That way neither of you will get hurt!" Tian still seemed skeptical about the whole thing, deer-like ears flickering uncertainly.

Ophelia's eyes went wide with excitement when Epsilon suggested that they could do flying lessons. "Oh can we please, it would be so much fun! It would be alright, I wouldn't get hurt I'd be very careful, so could we please?" she said, speaking very quickly, quick enough that she might have been a little hard to understand. She was clearly very pleased with the idea.

How was Tian supposed to deny something so utterly adorable? He shot Eppi a look. "Yes, yes. Alright. If you promise to be careful." Jin Tian relented, looking down at Ophelia with a smile gleaming in his red eyes. Epsilon whooped in excitement.
"You will have to asked you guardian though." The Herald added. "I do not want to upset anyone with our little plan."

Ophelia practically squealed with joy when Tian agreed to the plan. She wasn't sure if she had ever been this happy or this excited about something. She lost a little steam when he brought up asking Dmitri. She wasn't sure what he was going to saw about the whole thing. The girl could only hope that they caught him in one of his good moods (or one of his guilty moods but she didn't know about those yet).
The path they were on came to an end on a residential street. "Oh, my house is that way, just up the street," the girl said pointing once again to where there destination was.

Simply because Ophelia seemed so exited about this, Jin Tian was going to do everything in his power to get the okay for the practice. He would feel just horrible if the plans somehow didn't fall through.
"Oh it was really close!" Epsilon said, interrupting Tian's musings. "Which one is it?" The teen chirped, turning and walking backwards easily so that he could face the two. It was so funny seeing someone so tall and someone so short standing next to each other. Eppi laughed at the sight.
"You're definitely going to have to come visit Ophelia." The teen announced. "Our house isn't to far from here. About an hour walking. Not too bad really."

"It's that one down there, with the green roof," the girl replied, pointing again happily. "That's good, that its close I mean, I'm happy you can visit," And she was, really happy, though she was getting a little sad that their time together now was coming to an end, they'd be at her house soon and then they would leave. She would just have to look forward to next time, and the flying lesson.

"What a fun color!" Epsilon exclaimed when he spotted the green roofed house. He broke away from Ophelia and Jin Tian, bounding up the steps to the front door, waving merrily at them. The teen really was just a ball of energy.
"And we will visit again." Tian assured, glancing fondly down at Ophelia. "The animal that is called a pet needs to be walked sometimes." He frowned, not liking the family dog at all. "Also, you come to my home very soon so that we cannot see if our wings work. Remember to ask your guardian. Okay?" He asked kindly.
Jin Tian very much liked the little girl and was dismayed when they finally reached Ophelia's house. He hadn't hurried, but it felt like he had.

Ophelia nodded enthusiastically. "I will, I'll ask him. He'll say yes, I can't wait." Sure she wasn't 100% sure he would say yes but she was allowed to have a little hope. She kept smiling even though she was sad to be home, it had been good day though so she couldn't help herself.

Jin Tian nodded, satisfied with the girl's reply. He watched as Epsilon knocked merely on the front door, bouncing on his heels in his usual excitement.
"I'm glad that we met today Ophelia." Tian told the girl truthfully as they waited for the door to be answered, though truthfully, Ophelia could have just walked in. However, both Epsilon and Jin Tian were eager to meet the girl's guardian.

"I'm glad too," Ophelia said, "glad to meet both of you."
A fair amount of time passed between the knock and when the door was actually open. As time did pass Ophelia grew a little nervous, maybe he was still hungover (a word she shouldn't know the meaning of so young but did anyways) or was just sleeping. What if he was mad for being bothered? Getting angry at her new friends would be a terrible introduction.
When Dmitri did at least open the door however he didn't seem angry, maybe a little groggy but not angry. He looked at those on his doorstep blankly for a moment before spotting his little charge and raising an eyebrow. If she had been a problem child he might of said something along the lines of 'what did she do now?' or something like that, but she was anything but really. So all he could manage was a, "Uh, hello."
