Skara
Skara waited for Raven to leave. Soon after she practically ran from room to room, exploring each of them for a few minutes. When she found a room on the very top with a view of the garden below, she set her new dress and gloves on the bed. She began exploring the other rooms, noting to herself where the bathrooms were. Skara finally found the kitchen. She let herself wander around the kitchen, memorizing where the many items were so she would know where to find them later. After awhile Skara ran back up to her room and gently picked up the dress. Finding her way back to a bathroom with a shower she took of her clothes and collar, setting the dress out of the way she got into the shower. She hurriedly cleaned herself and got out. Putting her new dress on and pulling up her hair into a braid, she returned to her room to put her old dress away.

Raven smiled hearing Skara running round the house. She and juped out of the tree and changed back to her human form then walked into the house and into her room to take a shower.

She walked back down the stairs, to see what Raven liked to eat only to hear her turn on the shower somewhere upstairs. Skara sighed deciding to just choose something to make herself. Returning to the kitchen she stopped in the middle of the kitchen, thinking of something to cook. She pulled out a pot, setting it on the stove. Then pulling out some flour, water and a couple of bowls she set to work on making some dough. Every now and then she would pull out some food, like carrots or potatoes, chopping them up she would put them in a large bowl near the stove. Finishing with the dough she filled the pot with water and turned the stove on. Setting a pan on a different burner she turned it on and started cooking the meat.

Raven got out of the shower and put some clothes on. She dryed her hair and put it put. When she was done she walked downstairs and into the living room, grabed a book, sat down on the couch and started reading.

Skara
Skara barely finished cooking the chicken when she heard the shower being turned off. She thought of going to see how Raven was doing, but thought better of it when she saw the water boiling. Skara moved over to the counter and picked up the bowl with the vegetables she had put in it, slowly pouring them into the pot of water along with some seasonings. Putting a lid on it she walked out of the kitchen and down the hallway to the living room. "The food will be ready in half an hour, it's dumpling soup I hope you like it, I didn't get time to ask you what you liked." She said standing quite a ways from the couch that Raven was reading on.

Raven looked up from the book she was reading and looked at Skara, "um thanks." she repiled smiling slightly at her. She looked down not exactly sure what to do now, "i wonder if she nows that i dont really have to eat all that often, oh well might as well eat." she thought to herself.

Skara looked confused at her thanks. Feeling the awkward sensation she excused herself and retreated back to the kitchen. Skara took the dough and started making round balls out of it, taking the lid off the pot she dumped them in. She then made her way around the kitchen, picking up all the dirty dishes and setting them in the sink. Moving back over to the stove she readjusted the stove top's temperature and added the chicken. Putting the lid back on she went back over to the sink and washed the dishes. The smell started wafting through the kitchen and then out into the rest of the house. When she was done, she took the lid off the pot, stirred it then turned the stove off. Serving up a couple of bowls she made her way to the dining room.

Raven smelt the food in the air and got up following it to the dining room, "that smells good Skara." she commented looking at the bowls then up at Skara and smiled.

Skara looked back as she heard footsteps. She smiled happily at her comment. "That's good, I just need to go get the spoons and we can eat." She said setting the bowls down. Walking to the kitchen she returned with two spoons. Setting them by the bowls she pulled out a chair for Raven.

Raven sat down and waited for Skara to sit down, "so where did you lean to cook?" she asked taking a bite of her food.

Skara pushed in Raven's chair and sat down. "When I was with my first master I got the cooks to teach me a couple of things. Except for that I've learned on my own." She said. Her voice seemed proud and yet there seemed to be a hint of pain in it.

Raven looked at Skara and nodded, "hm ok then." she repiled, "is there anything tha you would like?" she asked wanting to make sure that she was comfertble.

Skara thought about it for a moment. "Well I wasn't able to find scissors." She replied. She watched Raven, waiting for her to taste the soup, wondering what she would think of it.

Raven put some of the soup in her mouth and ate it, "this is really good, and as for the scissors, i think there are some...somewhere." she repiled, tilting her head trying to remember if there were any scissors in the house.

Skara beamed at her praise. "Okay, I can try to find them if you would like." She replied. She then took a spoonful of her soup, satisfied with the tasted she started eating the rest.
