Almost simultaneously Kurai threw up a bowl-shaped shield of light that caused the fireballs to curve back around towards Kit, and Tala threw up a brick wall, that just solid right before impact. She had gotten a lot better at managing the temporary reality of her illusions. She had only gotten 1 nosebleed the whole 6 months.

brett falowed sam out as she took pictures. he satunder one andlisten to sams murrtering about this one haveing more red than the others and this one still has a bit of green. hw=e was personally enjoying the wind it was cold but now enough to mavk him want his coat.

Kit saw the brick wall go up and when the fireballs hit Kit took this opportunity. Using the smoke from the explosion she transformed into her normal self and and using speed and stealth came up right behind Tala and grabbed her from behind. Grinning as the smoke cleared she released Tala and trilled happily.
Sam looked clicked a picture and noticed two figures. She looked up and grinned at Travon and Bailey. "Hey guys!" She called out waving.
Mortimer was almost asleep on the couch when he heard a sound coming from the kitchen. Slowly he got up and went into the dark kitchen. Flicking on the light he heard a growl. The sound was coming from a little red fox standing in the middle of the kitchen with a paper in it's mouth. The creature dropped it and when Mortimer slowly reached his hand down to grab it the fox bit into his hand and then went out the open window it had apparently come in from. "s**t!" He grabbed a dish towel from the rack and wrapped it around his wounded hand. "Bloody stupid animal." He grumbled as he picked up the paper. Unrolling it he saw the kanji. It took him a minute to recognize what it said, Samantha had been teaching him Japanese after a weird rash of assassinations started happening. At each one they had left the Kanji that symbolized death. He glared at the note and turned on his heel and headed up stairs to his room.

"s**t!" Kurai swore and there was a burst of light all around her. Tala got winged by a bolt as it went by but suffered only a scratch. Kurai snarled and whipped around materializing a sword of light and swinging towards kit. Tala grabbed Kurai's arm and yelled, "STOP! It's Kit! Chill out!"

Kit grinned evilly at the tip of the light sword which had stopped half an inch from her neck. "Feel better hun?" She asked nonchalantly.
Sam smiled at the guys and she and Brett walked over to them. "Hey whats up you guys?" Blinking she looked at Travon. "You're not skipping again are you?"

Towards the end of the hour Jerun decided he was going to cut school the rest of the day. When the bell rang he hopped on his motorcycle and sped to the BH home. He came inside and went in the kitchen. He saw blood on the floor and began assuming the worst considering the recent killing of brotherhood members. "Toad!? You dead?!"

Toad heard Jerun yelling the question and sighed. He finished wrapping his hand in the ace bandage and headed downstairs. "No, I had a little visitor today." He said shoving the note into Jerun's hand. "It was a little fox, it left that note and gave me a nice little present." He waved his wounded hang back and forth. "If you can't read the kanji let me know so I can tell you exactly what it says." He was not in a happy mood.

akira came home and noticed toads hand as soon as she came in with some grocreys. she had bought extra stuff for homemade tacos "gee are you ok?" she asked as she passed and headed into the kitchen to unload the food(ok not sure howthe wisper thing came up i didnt pick it XD}

~Kuma Idriov~
A few hours had passed since Kuma sat down to his lessons. He got all of them done for today early so after packing up and putting them all away he went up to his room and reached into his big closet and pulled out a full bottle of fine mead. He had had time to sample a lot of booze wile he was there and he had found one that tasted just like the mead from back home. He took that bottle and popped the top as he started drinking right from the bottle, smiling as it reminded him of times back home. He looked to his list of things to do and really the only thing he had left to do today was help set up for the birthday rave the next day. He decided that he could enjoy his drink and set up so he headed down to the area where the party was going to be held after garbing a box of decorations. On his way over however he noticed a missed call and reconised the number of Toad. Kuma... well he actually likes Toad. He sees a good man under all that green and hopes that one day he will see it too. He used his massive claw and clicked a button on the side of the phone to activate a voice dialer put in by the professor for him so he could actually use the phone.
“Call Toad”
He said out loud and the phone dialed his number and flicked the speaker phone on for him

"Whatever." Kurai said in an emotionless voice, flipped the bird to nobody in general, and walked into the house silently. Within minutes, The sounds of Demolition Hammer's Epidemic of Violence CD thumped from Kurai's room.

Kits ears drooped sadly. She'd go in after her but knew from experience that wasn't the best of ideas. Yeah Kit could heal fast but she wasn't going to go asking for a beating. She sat down on the grass and looked up at Tala. "Guess she's mad at me..."
'I'm fine." He said as his cell phone rang. He flipped the phone open and saw the number to the x-mansion and answered. "Hello?"

"well if it a wild animal you might want to get checked for rabies" akira said puting stuff away and pulling out meat to defrost. "there a lot of it going around"
(sam is the xmens 'mom' and ill have akira the BH 'mom')

“Hello Mortimer. It's Kuma. You called earlier but I was in my lessons and I didn't hear the phone.”
Kuma said. His English was still heavily accented, however he had gotten far better. The English lessons really expanding his vocabulary and making him more articulate.
