Destiny where do I find you?
Destiny where can I look for you?
Destiny where are you hiding?
Why are you hiding from me?
Destiny what do you have for me?

'Oh dear, I've sat here far too long.' she thought as she caught herself nearly dozing. She'd also gone far too long without a good nights sleep apparently. She stood up, the legs of her chair scratching the worn, wooden floor as she did so. As one the occupants looked up at her, they had all become depressingly silent since she had brought Lizzie's body in and no one had really drank much since then either.

Samhailien sighed quietly. "Have you seen a woman in here tonight, probably dressed in men's clothes? She would have long, black hair, and she's quite tall, about a head taller then myself." She looked around the room, meeting each one of the occupants eye for eye.

One of them spoke up; unusually sober for the amount of alcohol the Seumurian elf could smell on his breath. "Aye, she was in here. Left without saying a word while she was 'ere. Dunno where she wen' though." He shrugged apologetically and went back to nursing his drink, no longer interested in drinking.

Samhailien sighed again and made for the door, almost giving up hope of finding the vampire. Before she reached the door though, Bert spoke up from her position in a chair, her face devoid of expression.

"She- she left right after Mark did. Perhaps he saw which way she went." Bert hiccuped slightly, drinking copious amounts of alcohol, as if to make up for everyone's lack of enthusiasm for their drinks.

Getting directions from another of the occupants, as Bert said no more, she quietly took her leave, the gaze of many of the men on her as she did so. Samhailien quickly checked that her illusion was still in place as she stepped out into the street. She quickly made her way to Mark's house. It was by the public baths. She sighed, yet again, as she realized her shirt was saturated in the girls blood.

She knocked upon the door lightly after making her illusion slightly weaker, allowing her true eyes to show. She didn't know if it would be enough to show the true her, but out in the open she couldn't risk dropping the illusion completely. To Mark she would appear nothing more then a human.

Destiny what are my options?
Destiny which door is open for me?
Destiny do you have anything for me that I might want?
Destiny can I get any satisfaction from you?
Destiny are you my friend?

((I'll let you decide his reaction, considering you created the NPC, Zulma

Wow, this one is a lot shorter))

Pomme had blinked several times. Then the throwing knife which she still had in her hand disappeared under her clothes. She did not sigh, did not give a look to Lilith despite the chaos that was ruling her mind. From laughter to sickness at the situation, Pomme's mind was tiring over what she had to cope with in order to please her sovereign.

Pomme took the clothes the Princess had chosen and started wrapping them around her. Explaining how Lilith had to pass it that way or tie it there. Pomme felt strange dressing the young woman. If it had been anyone else she would have probably blushed. But the person being her Princess and Queen to be, Pomme just felt very awkward.

Soon Lilith was dressed and Pomme hoped that her quick and to the point explanations would suffice for Lilith to dress herself alone in the future. With a last check on her ruler, the red hair woman stepped back and her knife reappeared in her hand.

"You are ready." Pomme was making a point calling the Princess without her title, for when they would be out of the house, she would have to avoid using any name which would put the Princess's life at stake. However she wondered if Lilith understood which she was not calling her Princess or Your Highness. Maybe Lilith was thinking that Pomme was just rude and worthless...

Pomme waited in silence.

The knocking on the door echoed in the house and the courtyard.

Mark yawn and sighed before heading down the stairs. He had a headache and only when he reached the bottom of the steps did he remember his dark visitor. He frowned and hesitated a moment before heading for the door and speaking across.

"Who's there?" he asked in a husky voice.

Serenice was enjoying the first moment of real relaxation since the fall of the Princess. But once again she was interrupted. The knock brought her out of the water and she grabbed what was closer to her: a towel, which she wrapped quickly around her before disappearing in the shadows.

She kept silent and immobile once she reached a dark corner in the courtyard from which she had full sight of Mark's front door.

Serenice was tensed. Who could that be? Had she been followed?

Do you know what your fate is?
And are you trying to shake it?
You're doing your best and

Pomme did just as the princess had asked of her: She took the clothes that Lilith had and dressed her while explaining how everything worked. Lilith watched tentatively, not feeling the same level of awkwardness that Pomme was currently experiencing. She'd been through this situation so many times that at this point it was just another daily drill.

When Pomme finished Lilith rose and took a quick inspection of herself in the mirror. At the sight of her rather mused hair Lilith took a quick look around for something to tie her hair back. She found a ribbon in a drawer and used it to tie her unruly hair back, smoothing down any bumps on her scalp. The one that Serenice had given her couldn't be dealt with but at least it remained hidden underneath her hair. Anything else, like doing her make-up, could be done later. Right now she had other business to attend to.

"To the guest, then." Lilith turned and nodded to Pomme before walking back into the room where the strange man was sitting. "Forgive me for keeping you waiting." Lilith nodded to him before looking to the table. Pomme had done as she'd instructed and placed food and drinks on the table for him. Very well then.

Lilith walked to the opposite end of the table and sat. The table was so small that had she wanted to Lilith could have reached over and grabbed something from his plate. It was less distance than she would have wanted to place between herself and him. It would have to do, however.
"Sit wherever you like," Lilith told Pomme without looking at her. Her eyes were already resting dead center on Lycan.

Her intuition still told her that this man was to be trusted. However this did not do much to ease her anxiety. She had about as much magical ability as a piece of dirt so even if he'd had enchantments cast on himself she wouldn't have been able to sense them. She'd smelled and tasted the burning flavor of magic before and sensed it well enough. When it was cloaked, however, she had to rely on the men she kept around her. What a shame it was not to have them at her side at this moment. Hopefully most of them were alive- she'd spent a good amount of time weaving her own guards and magicians to stay at her side very carefully and to have that be broken by their deaths would be an absolute shame.

She wondered if the man sitting across from her would be the second stepping stone to regaining Erion. Oh, time would tell- she could only hope that her intuition was not being fooled my magical trickery.
"Sir Lycan," Lilith began in a calm and steady voice. "You spoke of 'the royal gem' before. I would much obliged if you would show it to me before we begin conversation again," as she spoke she lifted her hand out palm up so that he could hand the gem over to her.

Lycan's eyes were as glacial a ever as he awaited the princess to change as she was changing he thought to himself. 'Will this young girl really be able to save all these people and this kingdom from this catastraphy that will befall the people that the message spoke of time will only tell....' Lycan was cold and yet relaxed at the same time yet very aware of his surroundings no matter what happened he would be prepared.

The Princess came out but he payed no attention to her clothing or anything else but stared at her face in her eyes basicly as if he was staring into her very soul tryen to decipher the answer that he had asked himself. Lycan heard what the princess said and reached into his cloak and withdrew the large gem that was needed to actually ascend to the throne fully or so the message said. "This is the royal gem." Lycan placed it into her hands and it gave of a soft green glowing. This reaction even surpised Lycan because he had not anticipated such a thing happenen but it was true this young lady would save the people and he would lend her his aid no matter what cost it was to his life.

Do you know what your fate is?

{{Prepare for a wall of text. x__x }}

Silence filled the room as Lycan reached into his cloak and pulled out the so-called "royal gem." Lilith's eyes flickered downward to it and she watched as he dropped the object into his hand. It was surprising light for its size. What was even odder, however, was how it seemed to be glowing green-

"Of the night, the chief/the leading one, wolf, goddess of the slain in battle, white and smooth…"

The room fell back again and she felt herself being thrown- somewhere. Her vision blacked out for a second and when they reopened she was greeted by an absence color. What was annoying her more, however, was the weight on her stomach. When she lifted her head up to look something heavy pushed on her chest, preventing her from getting up.

"That's what your name means, doesn't it? Although Ovet has been left out..."

"Get off of me."

"So demanding." The deep voice mused. The weight left her chest and she immediately sat up. She was greeted by the face of a wolf- or was that a cat? She couldn't even... "Don't look so shocked. I took this form because of what your name means."

"And who are you?"

"You'll have to figure that out yourself."The animal retorted as it placed a heavy paw on Lilith's cleavage and pushed her back down again with a loud "thud." "We'll be seeing each other again but at the moment I'm only here to tell you a few things." There was a small pause as if the creature was waiting for her to say something. Lilith remained silent, not necessarily because she didn't want to speak but due to the paw that was keeping her from barely breathing. "Lets take this list in what you can do first, shall we? Number one: Have you ever thought that pairing authority to kindness when it comes to your soldiers would be better than authority to order?"

"If I do not treat them aggression they do not listen," Lilith gasped when the weight was lessened just enough for her to speak. "If I do not act that way then they do not respect me. A kingdom who has only been ruled by one woman five hundred years ago will not listen to me unless I force them."

"Very true." They purred back, tail swishing behind them. "However to someone who has been a slave and been treated with brute force kindness may seem to be a more respectful. Would you not agree? Secondly you will need to find the place which I showed you before. Thirdly... ah, what was the third? Mmmm, that's right. Remember to keep the jewel which the werewolf has given to you with you at all times. Wear it around your neck if you must- it is never to be removed from your body. You will need it to lay claim to the power that has followed you through your bloodline. Once you have it you will be the true ruler that Erion has been waiting for."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean," the four legged creature leaned its head over, lips peeling back for what Lilith could only guess was supposed to be a smile. "Little girls with red hair are not supposed to have black irises when their parents have brown. And it's a little odd to have a guardian who's flesh is made of shadow. Now behave like a good girl. I'll be seeing you again."

The creature and the area around her washed away and she suddenly found herself back in the room with Pomme and Lycan. Her eyes were still on the gem as the green glow that had been surrounding it disappeared. Lilith blinked as the jewel fell out of her hand and hit the table with an unceremonious THUNK!

"My head," Lilith pressed a cold hand against her forehead as she gritted her teeth in pain. Then she felt something wet coming out of her nose. She wiped her nose with a finger and looked down to see red on her fingers. She snatched a napkin off of the table and pressed it against her now bleeding nose, tilting her head backwards as she tried to get the throbbing in her head to stop. Her vision was filled with thousands of white snow flakes that danced and twirled against the ceiling. It was actually taking a lot of her own self-endurance not to pass out from the pain that was assaulting her skull. The pain lasted for just a few seconds and then was suddenly gone, like a praying mantis attacking a hummingbird. She put her head upright and took the napkin away from her nose. There was just a little of blood on it, less than she thought there would be. "It would seem as if you are not lying, Mr. Lycan, although I am curious as to what is inside of it." She picked up one of the untouched glasses of water and dipped the unbloodied part of the napkin in it and then wiped her face. The last time she'd had a nosebleed had been when she'd taken a shield right in the face. "If you have anything else to say to me I would suggest you say it now. I am suddenly feeling a bit under the weather." She stated as she picked the jewel back up and looked at it. She frowned before taking both it and her hand from the table and setting it down on her lap.

Pomme could not repress her wide eyes as the size of the beautiful gem and wider eyes even when it started glowing.

However her contemplation was broken by Lilith's attitude. The Princess was totally immobile. Her eyes were still opened but she was not looking anywhere. Pomme was tempted to remove the gem from her ruler's hand, but she knew that if a spell had been cast on the Princess, breaking it could reveal itself very dangerous. Plus, who knew what could happen if she were to touch it herself.

She hissed and one of her knives, still in her hand, came to the man's throat. What surprised Pomme was the lack of movement of the man, she had expected him to move, and move fast.

That was when she heard the voice of the Princess. Pomme jolted back and stood by Lilith.
"Are you..." she was about to ask. The blood running from the Princess's nose freaked out the red hair woman even more. But Lilith did not allow her to do anything as she spoke to the man, calling him 'mister'.
Pomme was hurt much more than she expected and she stepped back. She did not get anything from the Princess but criticisms and reproaches while she had risked her life to protect the Princess, while she had probably lost her unique friend to protect Lilith. But that man, that stranger was treated with respect.

Pomme stood back, straight, her face cold. She understood now why Serenice was so cold. What other attitude could one have in front of such a being. Even Pomme who was jovial and chatty, was now taciturn and silent. Pomme waited for instructions, because it was all that she would get from the young woman.

Destiny where do I find you?
Destiny where can I look for you?
Destiny where are you hiding?
Why are you hiding from me?
Destiny what do you have for me?

She breathed a sigh of relief. He was being cautious, that was good news. Or perhaps it was merely because of the troops that patrolled regularly. Whatever the reason, she deliberated in whether to tell him the truth or not. As she thought she tapped a long finger nail against her teeth. Sighing again she spoke quietly, weaving a simple spell to keep her voice from carrying. "My name is Samhailien Daveana D'Auchan Sig-Ur. I was, and am, adviser to the Princess Lilith. I seek one named Serenice."

Samhailien stopped there, for if Serenice was inside or nearby she would hear, and recognize her voice. She closed her eyes briefly to ward off a wave of dizziness. She really needed to get some sleep soon, if she didn't she would not be able to maintain this guise for much longer. She braced herself on the frame of the door and waited.

As it was she was in the form of a human girl probably in her early twenties. Her hair was, instead of the black common of her race, her hair was a bright red. Her skin was, instead of snow white, slightly tanned. Her eyes though, she allowed to show through, hoping that they would be enough if he didn't truly believe her.

Samhailien sniffed slightly and winced. The girl's blood was starting to congeal on her shirt and was beginning to smell. Her sensitive nose wrinkled at the scent. She spoke quietly again. "Mark, believe me when I tell you, I mean no harm. But be that as it may, I can unlock this door without having to touch it. Please don't make me resort to that."

Generally a kind person, Samhailien didn't like making threats. However, she didn't make idle threats either. As she waited her mind strayed to Lilith. She sighed quietly as she realized that only Pomme would be with her. The young girl, for anyone below the age of forty is considered a child to a Seumur elf, was generally towards the upper end of excited, or in some other good mood. Shaking her head slightly Samhailien layed a cool hand on her forehead, trying to wake herself further.

Pomme will need to learn quickly that not everything is as good as it was before the war. She will need to learn quickly that not everyone is to be trusted. That would be the most important lesson, many people, most of them in fact, will lie and connive their way to the top, getting closer and trying to get you to trust them. Especially in this time.

Mei'Q soldiers in particular would be going as commoners, trying to discover those that were still true to Lilith. They would find those last small pockets of rebellion and squash them. As all this was running through her mind, her eyes slipped close but by sheer force of will her disguise was not completely relinquished. Along with her eyes, her ears showed for what they truly were and the roots of her hair darkened to the black they commonly were.

Destiny what are my options?
Destiny which door is open for me?
Destiny do you have anything for me that I might want?
Destiny can I get any satisfaction from you?
Destiny are you my friend?

The voice across the door brought an annoyed grin on Serenice's lips. She was familiar with the owner of the voice, although she had to admit that it had been a while since she last saw the woman.

The vampire noticed Mark's silence and she spoke up. However, she remained in the shadow of the court. Not that she was shy or anything but she felt strange appearing in towel in front of the man.

"Please let her in, Mark."

Although Mark had expected the woman to have heard the knock at the door, he jolted as he heard her voice behind him.

"You scared me..." he grounded as he opened the door.

He disliked very much the threat the surprisingly young woman behind the door had said. He did not need any threat from friends when enemies were patrolling all over town.

The man did not greet the new comer, he barely looked at her and locked the door before heading back to his room, with a couple of curse words against the two women.

Serenice had smirked at the man's reaction. She had to admit that Samhailien's introduction was not of the smartest.

"I am here Samhailien." hissed the vampire, still in her towel.

"What do you want?" she asked. Nothing in her voice was welcoming but there was no threat either.

She chuckled at the appearance of the new comer. "Experiencing with style?" she exclaimed sarcastically.

Serenice was wondering what could have pushed that woman to leave the side of the Prince. It was past midnight and tomorrow would be Tuesday. She hoped that the elf would not put herself in the way of her plans to free Falconer.

She grimaced at Serenice as she dropped her illusion completely. The clothes she wore now hung loose around her.
"I have you to thank for the color."
She snarled as she found the closest seat and sank down into it. It was true, the only color she wore was the blood spattered shirt that had once been a pristine white. The simple, dark, wooden staff in her hands transformed back into the curious, white staff she generally carries.

She did not like the Vampire woman very much, especially not after seeing the poor girl she had left torn in the street, but she needed her help. "I have heard talk that Falconer is to be executed soon. I wish to stop this though I cannot do it alone. I need your help." She closed her eyes as she spoke, leaning back in the chair. God's she was tired. She hadn't known how tired one could really be until she'd been up for week straight, since the Mei'Q had stormed the city, and for a week before that helping with preparations should the unthinkable happen. Now her magic was weak, and she could barely keep a simple illusion up.

She continued speaking, her eyes still closed tiredly. "If we can find a way to free him, in front of all the people, from the very clutches of the Mei'Q; the people would be rallied. They would have hope again and would not just bow down to their oppressors!" She became more passionate as she spoke, so certain of this approach that she was blind to all others.

"If we did it quietly, the Mei'Q could cover it up, hide it. But stealing him under their very noses, watched by the common people... " She trailed off, already having said what she meant and too tired to reiterate it or even think of another way to say it. She opened her eyes again, looking at Serenice through the fog of sleep that clouded her vision. By sheer will alone she kept herself awake to wait the reaction of the vampire.

Lycan noted the blood comen out of the young princess nose and was slightly worried as to what had caused it.. Lycan looked the princess in the eyes and his eyes glowed slightly he stood up and seemed to glide to the princess and said in a glaciar tone.

"Do you require aid to get back to your chamber?" Lycan awaited her asnwer and the inebitable rejection of his suggestion still looken her in the eyes.

While Lycan was waiten for the princess's answer he started to think of ways in wich he could defend the princess and how he would be able to help her ascend to her rightful place as the ruler of this land. Lycan then knew that he would do anything for he had a mission and he never failed a mission.

Do you know what your fate is?
And are you trying to shake it?
You're doing your best and
Your best look
You're praying that you make it

{{Demonic, make this a note: If you don't know about something in the RP, your character doesn't know. And since no one but Lilith saw the vision and I didn't mention it to you no one in the RP aside from Lilith should know. Please edit that piece out of your post.}}

"Thank you for your gesture but I will be fine by myself."Lilith answered as she held up her hand to stop him from moving closer any further. The man certainly liked to stare right into her eyes. She, however, wasn't intimidated- she'd looked worse things right in the face. "Well then," Lilith sniffed before she rose out of her chair. "I will be going back to my room. Do whatever pleases you, although I will be leaving you in Pomme's charge so it would be best if you do as she says. Pomme," she gave a shallow nod in the woman's direction before heading back into her room.

She had a bit of a light headache but instead of laying down to rest she went around the room and started to go through what little was in the room. It was mostly full of furniture and not much else. By the end of her search she managed to find a few good things: Paper, maps, a compass... yes, these would do her well.

Lilith cleared the desk, spread the things she'd found out and sat down. She couldn't see that well in the dim light but she didn't want to risk opening a window or drawing the curtains. She looked at the map and carefully checked to see where she was now and the places closest.

She worked on seeing where the Mei'q Valuk army would be know, where her soldiers would be and what place would be best to advance to.
'Fifty miles north, hm?' Lilith thought to herself as she carefully measured to see where it would be. As her eyes landed on the location she pursed her lips and sighed. 'Those are the Maskves Mountains... only the truly insane go there. Its terrain is nearly impossible to... aaaah.' Lilith tilted her head and sat up, dark eyes on the map. 'It might be a terrible pain for my troops to travel up through those mountains. However no Mei'q Valukian soldier would be able to make it through... if I could just find a safer path for my people to use the idea might just be worth looking into...'

Lilith continued working, bringing in the information that Pomme had given her and her own ideas on what the Mei'q Valuk army would have done and where her scattered troops may have gone. Once she had all of the information listed out she could definitely see that the odds were heavily, heavily against her. Maybe with more men she'd have a better chance but with Mei'q Valuk taking a hold of her capital... that was a massive amount of equipment, food and supplies that they now had control of.

As much as Lilith dearly wanted her capital back there was absolutely no way she'd be able to do so. Aside from having little to manpower on her side there were currently too many civilians who were right under their thumb. Trying to do anything would only cause them more grief... oh, what a hassle this was turning into!

There was far too much on her plate and she honestly wasn't sure what she needed to pay attention to more. She now had a half decent idea about how things were in her kingdom but now she had to decide what to do. She sighed heavily and leaned into her chair. She pressed her knuckles against her forehead and eyes, foot tapping on the floor.

Serenice froze at the sight and smell of blood. She had not realized before, all surrounded in the perfumes of the hot bath. Her eyes narrowed at the first comment of Samhailien. Me...?.. she wondered, before understanding that she had probably met her victim. But still, even if she did, the girl was dead (a shiver crawled down her spine), how could the elf be aware of what happened.

If Serenice did not like the elf, that ended up adding bitterness to her unhappy heart. Why was the woman here? To kill her for the murder of an innocent But Samhailien stated quickly the real motivation of her visit.

Serenice listened with a raised eyebrow to the reasoning of the older woman. She frowned several times.

"You should clean that shirt and yourself, you stink blood." was Serenice first answer as the vampire turned her back to the elf and dipped herself back in the empty huge hot bath.

Once in the warm perfume smelling liquid, Serenice felt calmer. She had not fully recovered from her wounds and that woman was putting her on the edge.

"So you mean that instead of a successful rescue, you want to have us all killed?!" she asked with sarcasm. "Don't underestimate the Mei'Q. That was our mistake in the past and see where we are now..."

The vampire sighed and went on with a serious tone. "I understand your motivations, however this is exactly what Mei'Q is hoping for. They have been advertising his execution everywhere. If Falconer is nowhere to be found for his execution, that would be more than enough."

An idea was blossoming in the vampire's mind. A way for Mei'Q to be unable to cover it up.

"As per the Mei'Q tradition, a prisoner arrives to the place of their execution with a black hood hiding their head. If we manage to swap Falconer for a Mei'Q guard of the same size, they will not notice until he is in the middle of the crowd on the scaffold..." she paused and smiled without any joy.

"They might find out before but at least Falconer would be safe." her voice lowered. "If we try in secret, if we failed, Falconer will be killed and people's hope will drop. If we try in public, if we failed, we will all be killed and people's hope will be destroyed...this is a risk I am not willing to take."

As she spoke she had barely looked twice at the elf.

Pomme stayed silent for a while after the Princess had disappeared. What could she say anyway? She grabbed the dishes and cleaned them as a good servant. Time passed. The night was quite advanced and Pomme prepared a pot of herbal tea.

She prepared a cup for Lilith and went to her room. She knocked at the door, seeing light.
"Princess, here is some herbal tea." she said across the door.
"I think we should all get some rest if we want to be fit tomorrow." she added, still waited to be invited in.

Lilith worked well through the day, only pausing in her pursuit of planning when she realized how dark the room had gotten and got up to light a few candles. She then resumed working, feather pen scratching the surface of paper while her mind toiled away at various plans while the emptiness of the room clawed uneasily at her mind.

The second time she paused was when she heard a soft knock at the door. She sat up from her crouched over position, stretching her back as she peered at the door with dark eyes.

"Princess, here is some herbal tea. I think we should all get some rest if we want to be fit tomorrow."

"Come in." Lilith answered before she slowly rose up from her seat. Her knees cracked as she did so and she stretched a bit before walking over to the where the clothes were kept. She opened a drawer and picked up the first ribbon that she saw, shutting it quickly and returning to her chair. She gathered her crimson hair up and tied it back so that it would stay out of her face from hence onward.

She reached for her feather pen and had been dipping it into fresh ink when she suddenly halted and lifted her head up. Her gaze went from her paper and directly to Pomme. It rested there for a few seconds as she almost stared at the other, an unclear expression settling on her pale face.
'My hallucination speaks truth, however, that is not the issue at hand.' Lilith put her pen back down and sat up, turning herself in her chair so that she could face Pomme.

"Pomme, come here." Lilith ordered in a quiet yet clear voice, eyes never wandering from their target. She scooted her chair out before holding her hand out and gesturing for the older woman to stand in front of her. "There is something we need to talk about."

Her eyes broke away then as she sighed, bare knuckles brushing up against her chin. She moved her head just half an inch so that she could look towards the closed window. When was the last time she'd been able to look out of an open window without the thoughts of scanning for the enemy been at her mind?

"Pomme," she resumed as she looked back to the woman while she rested her ink stained hands on the arms of the chair. "When I awoke today instead of thanking you for saving my life and taking care of me I snapped at you and told you that you were inferior to me. I did not act calmly, I allowed my bitter emotions to take a full hold of me and acted like a spoiled child.... You might not be a lady of the court, an aristocrat or a high ranking general but you are good woman. You are not any lesser of a human being than I. You are my subject and I should have treated you as such. I apologize for my early actions and regret them." Lilith drew in a slow breath before her thoughts continued with, 'I cannot say the same for Prince Gidel.'

Lilith paused briefly, sucking in a breath of air as she sat up just a bit straighter. "Do not worry about checking up on me later tonight. I will discuss what we will do next tomorrow morning."

Whenever the end is
Do you think you can see it?
Well, until you get there
Go on, go ahead and scream it
Just say it

"Hurry up, this way!" a soldier whispers loudly to his 3 companions, as they approach several guards off duty.

"Huh, who's there?" one says, turning to find 4 Mei'Q soldiers obviously in a hurry, one motions for the two to follow, and they hurry onward into a nearby building "Better not be some fools trying to stop the execution..." the drunker of the two mutters as they enter.

"Sadly, no, its 5 soldiers who WILL stop the execution." a voice greets them from behind as they enter and the door is slammed shut.

"What the?!" both guards say, turning to the figure, they don't realize what he meant by 5 soldiers, and two muffle them and two others stab the two in the back of the neck.

"Well done boys, are they here yet?" the main figure says, taking off his helmet, the other four follow suit.

"Not yet sir, but they'll be coming through the back." as the one obviously acting as second in command says so, two men come in through a back door, see the bodies, and take off the fallen soldier's armor, dawning it and looking exactly the same.

"There, we have 19 of the 25 guards that will be immediately at the ceremony, with hope we can get the last 6 in the next few days, we'll need them if they have more then 30 reinforcements coming." the main soldier says, re-dawning his helmet along with the other 4.

"So, Captain Kaine, whats our orders?" the two men ask, Kaine indicates something along the lines of 'go about acting like the two' Kaine and co. well research the targets, they don't want someone to realize the ploy when an aggressive person is replaced by a mopey person, or something like that...

"You really think it'll work?" one of the 4 asks Kaine as they stow the bodies in the cellar where the rats will devour it to bones within the hour.

"Two things my friend, 1. It has to, or else we're all dead, and 2. Theres next to nothing that can go wrong...If all else fails we know what to do." Kaine says grimly as they enter a passage-way...
