Iolaus is a major character in the Hercules series, and a great one! And after all, Xena came from Hercules. razz

Well, sometimes kids end up being greater than their parents ever were. ... Then again, I only watched the first season of Hercules and the movie that had Renee O'Connor in it.

The first season isn't that great. I think the writers made a big mistake opening the series with the death of Hercules' family. That was far too soon and made it difficult for Kevin to work on for the rest of the series, because he just stayed holy-than-thou. It made Hercules as a character a bit dull.
BUT its gets increasingly better after that, especially as Iolaus gets more involved, because he's such an energetic and perky character. Hercules has his faith in himself tested and teased which is so moving! He even has an evil double in the fourth/fifth which is fantastic!
I feel that Hercules has more shocks in store than Xena, but Xena did travel round the globe more. They both have different values.

Ooh! I like the future ones. Yes -enter little girl name-, There is A Hercules and that one where they have to go to the camp with Renee O'Connor as Sunny Day. My favorite line had to be "I'm your counselor, Sunny Day" and "Liz" was like "I pray for rain".

I'm never that keen on the future ones in either of the series. Just not my cup of tea.
I haven't seen all of the episodes yet, but I'm half way through the fifth season. I just want Iolaus back!!!! gonk

Princessah Well I voted but I dont think Xena and Gabby should be included it is a given that the 2 of them are most people's faves. There should be a seperate poll for supporting characters. Done and done, cutie pie. wink
