((don't want this thread to die, so I'll speak for the third time in a row.....))

Hitonima backed away slowly, never letting his guard down. After getting out of the alley, he finally put away his bow and arrows. This town is pretty wierd. I wonder if theres a tavern around here..... He walks around the town, never letting his hand drift too far from his sword. He hardly ever used the sword, and he wished to keep it that way.

((Sorry. Been busy.))

Kioshi, silent, dear Kioshi continued on her way through the village. She had witnessed foul things today but one could not really tell that she had save for the rushed manner in which she walked toward the outskirts and the rich farmlands her father owned beyond. The basket she carried her market foods from was clutched tightly in her olive-skinned arms. The dark blue fabric of her kimono swayed as tiny feet walked without making a sound.

Something here was not right. There were more soldiers than usual in the town... and more strangers. One such stranger Kioshi saw as she passed by a local tavern. He had bows and a sword equippped on his person. Kioshi stopped. Her long ebony hair that hung down her shoulders swayed across her face from the cool valley breezes that occasionally fluttered through the village. She had no weapons, but her almond eyes stared at the stranger as if she had a great knowledge of them and what they could do.

Ichigo heard Kioshi as she spoke, but didn't find a suitable answer as the guard fell to his knees, and then to his side. As he heard Kioshi's footsteps hurry away, he kneeled down and put a finger to the man's wrist. The guard was only unconcious. Why did he attack? He wondered. Seeing the citizens overpower the guards in the alleyway, he decided to leave in case soldiers came. He did not want to deal with full-armoured samuri. Whiping the blood off of one of his long knives on the guard's undershirt, he hid the weapons again and stalked off around the direction that the girl went, cutting into the more popular back-alleys. Ichigo went this route because on the wide main road, people could easily spot you, and in deserted alleyways, thugs could easily swarm you, like the villagers and the guards that started the commotion in the first place.

((I don't mind if you borrow NPCs Nin.

Also, I updated the character list on the front page.))

After the incident with the guards, Sasuke began to head for another alleyway to get out of sight should the fleeing soldiers alert their fellows or master. She had found a girl outside of town who had appearantly dissapeared when she had rushed off to help the man who was foolish enough to spit upon the Samurai's boot, 'moron...' She became acutely aware of the 'dead' soldier a small distance away, he had a nasty gash on his head, 'maybe I hit him after all...' She had been dissapointed in her sudden lack of ability but now was a bit happier to see that she had done something after all. 'How did he travel that far though?'

Deciding that now was not the time nor the place to ponder the matter further, the short woman backed into one of the deserted alleyways quickly. She could see that the soldiers had reached their master down at the other end of the main street, he sent one crashing to the dust with a powerful strike from his mailed fist, and seemed upset that two of his soldiers were dead and yet he could see no assailants. The men blubbered and pointed back down the street which was the point in time she decided to 'disappear'.

Leaping up and kicking off the nearby wall of some obscure bussiness, she grasped the edge of the oposite wall in the alley and somersaulted up and over to land lightly on the thached roof. Skirting along the edge, she made her way to the rear of the structure and using the roof to vault into a nearby tree to better hide herself. She took this oportunity to gain her bearings once again and get a feel for the area. 'I just might stay here after all, there could be some work around here. But first, I need something to eat...'

After looking around for a few minutes, her dark eyes alighted upon some kind of tavern and a lone man entering from the near deserted street, 'couldn't hurt to check it out later this evening I guess.' She glanced up through the branches of the thin tree and saw that the sun would be sinking soon, in a few hours she would be able to move about unhindered, as she preferred it.

Hitonima ordered an ale from the bartender, and sat in a dark corner, paying no attention to anything other than his own thoughts. what is up with this town? I should probably get out of here soon. But yet something kept him here. He couldn't explain it, but it seemed like he was supposed to be here. After draining his ale, he calls to the Bartender for another. "Another ale, But stronger this time!" Hitonima leans back in his chair, wondering why he decided to come to this town.....

Taverns were a foreign place to her. At a young age, her father, Michio Takeo, had forbade any of his children (especially his daughters) to enter any such house of evils as he called them. Shy, quiet Kioshi would never have thought to disobey her father, but something compelled her to go inside. Strange things were happening in the village that could easily spread to her family's farm. They were not well defended.

So when Kioshi came in, many crooked eyes turned toward the door. Meekly, the eldest and only surviving child of a great war hero and retired farm owner approached the bartender and whispered exactly what or who she was looking for. He pointed, having already readied the next, much stronger ale, for the stranger she sought. Kioshi, still holding her woven basket of groceries under the crook of her elbow, brought the ale over to Hitonima and set it down on the table. Again, eyes watched her, some resuming their pulls on ale. She was clad in dark blue, signifying her higher status as a well-to-do farmers daughter.

"Why are you here?"

The Geisha softness was in her beautiful features, but her voice rose in pitch. Still, it was soft, but intense as her almond eyes stared at Hitonima. Her lips almost pouted, but something in the way they curved so naturally downward was enticing. Like flower petals. So soft.

Hitonima looked up at the woman, wondering why she seemed so interested in him.

"I go to villages looking for training areas, and competition. So far, no town has had the might to conquer me. It's kind of pitiful, really. Thanks for the ale."

Hitonima took the ale and started to drink it. After draining the glass, he set it down on the table and left, looking for an inn.

Hitonima suddenly realized that he didn't pay for the ales, and then also sddenly realized he didn't care. He walked around the town, finally finding the inn. he asked for a room, and the went up to it. He flopped down on his bed, and fell fast asleep. It had been a tiring day.

((Hey, when are you guys usually on? I'm on just about all the time.))
PostPosted: Fri May 26, 2006 11:09 am

((Now-ish? I hope you realize that your character leaving and going to bed does nothing to further the interaction and progress of this story. My character won't go so far as to stalk Hitonima to where he sleeps.

We need a main plot point here... otherwise this story will go nowehere fast. Anyone up for making an OOC thread for this storyline/RP so we can discuss that?))

((I just did that because I didn't think I would be on for a while. I'm for the OOC thread))

((We need more people to post.............))

((Just because you're not going to be on doesn't mean you kill any other possibility for character interaction. Your character is not you. If you're going offline, your character should NOT do it as well.

Do you understand?

You post something, go offline and I or whoever's in this will probably respond to it. Thus when you next come online, you can post something in response to what was posted after you. Then I post to your response and the RP keeps moving.

I'm not going to ask you to edit your response... but understand that it would help the RP if you did. Otherwise I can try to think of something... or maybe someone else can.))

((Ok, how 'bout this smile )

Hitonima suddenly realized that he didn't pay for the ales, and then also sddenly realized he didn't care. Hitonima awoke late the next day. He stumbled out of bed and went to the tavern again. He ordered another ale, and some food.

((Better?))

((If it's the next day... my character will probably have gone home to her father's farm and will not be back at the tavern. I made a bio for Kioshi's father, but have yet to introduce him because I was waiting for the right moment.))
