I smile softly and feel tired, I look around to see if anything can be used as a pillow. Once my eyes land on rio i can't help but mentally laugh, he doesn't look like the kind of person who wouldn't mind me sleeping on him. I look outside, the storm is continuing to let up, i hope that by morning it's completely cleared and i sit against the cave wall with me knees up to my chest. "we really should get some sleep..."

Rio feels a pair of eyes on him and looks to see avril look at him, and look away smiling. curious, he thought. she puts her back against the wall and looks dozy. 'we really should get some sleep...' avril says to the group. that would be a good idea, He thinks, keeping his thoughts to himself. and it just hit him how tired he really was. Rio put his head back against the wall, leaving a rather loud bang, and a slight shock through his head and spine but he just ignored the pain. he deserved it anyway.

❝G E N E V I E V E ✖ L A M❞ "We really should get some sleep..." Avril said. She was right. Genevieve began to settle down on to the cold cave floor. She had to sleep, but she wasn't tired yet. She sat there thinking until she heard a loud bang on the rock wall and turned to see Rio had hit his head. Maybe he wasn't as stiff as she thought. She chuckled as she turned back to try and get some sleep. She tried to snuggle, but it was cold. She had to get some sleep. It wouldn't help the group do anything if she was tired. She rolled to her side in attempt to sleep and only hoped that the next day will be better.

sleep, the one thing i'm good at, yet here it is escaping me. I force my eyes shut and stop thinking, maybe it will come that way. suddenly i'm hit full force with exhaustion and i slip into sleep hoping that tomorrow will be clear and warm.

Rio closed his eyes slowly, listening to the other three in the group breath. He really had no intentions of going to sleep, but sleep crept in and took it's toll on Rio, and soon his mind was drifting off into nightmares of his unforgotten, horrid past.

I wake up the next morning, cold and stiff, but alive. I look at the injection and gasp, its bruised all over and hot, the others are sleeping so i go outside to see it in the light, and then i pause. The storm passed, its absolutely sunny! I bask in the warmth and look around, I'm completely starving and thirsty. There are some trees nearby that appear promising, I look up them to see some under ripe coconuts and an amazingly green bird. I look around to see if there's anything else a bit closer to edible...some flowers...rocks...salt water...wait. Salt water. Fish maybe? I shake my head as my thoughts become less connected, how in the world am i supposed to get the fish if there are any? and all the trees are wet so that rules out fire...

laying on the floor, Rio faces close-snug to the wall. his eyes are open but blocked by his hair, so the girl passing behind him does not see that he is awake. he had very little sleep that night, as he does every night. Rio's ears adjust to the sounds of footsteps across the cave floor, walking to the entrance. the two hours of sleep, approximatly, made him tired and unwilling to get up, as well as the anxiety and sorrow he held. "it sounds like a beautiful day outside..." he thought. Rio rolled on his back and could smell the salt water from the ocean, he could hear the birds singing, and he could feel a warm, tropical air flowing through the cave entrance. he heard whoever it was outside walking around on the wet grass, perhaps picking up an object. Rio started up at the cave wall and saw something.

I look in to see if the others are still asleep, but i can't see them. suddenly a beautiful flower catches my eye and instantly i am vain me again. I pick the flower and stick it in my hair, ew my hair is sticky and tangled! Using the ocean to rinse my hair i finger comb it and put the flower back in, wet again but a warm wet. Impatient i call into the cave softly, "the storm passed everyone, its safe...Rio what is it?"

Rio stares up to the ceiling, staring at what appears as just random weathering on the stone. but to him, it looks suspicious. it almost looked like an engraving of a circle, with few small dots living within the wobbly circle. "what could this be?" rio thought outloud, when he suddenly thought he heard whoever it was outside say something.

❝G E N E V I E V E ✖ L A M❞ Light began to fill into the cave entrance and the smell of rain arouse the sleeping Genevieve. She used one of her two hands to prop up on her side, while rubbing her right eye with the other, while slightly groaning to the aching back from sleeping all night on the cold cave floor.
Genevieve slighty turned around to see that Rio and Avril were both looking up towards the cave walls. She followed their wondering eyes up the wall to see some odd symbol. Genevieve blurts out in a sleepy voice, "What are you guys looking at?"

"i think the possibility of a map is a good one..." rio says quietly, his eyes dropping from the ceiling of the hole to the entrance of the hole. "oh well...i dont find a point in it..." he says as he shrugs, forces his hands in his pockets and walks out of the cave into the new born sunshine.

❝G E N E V I E V E ✖ L A M❞ Genevieve staring half asleep at the so called map. It didn't seem to make sense to her. If it was a map, it didn't have any logics to it. Was this island a circle? What did the dots mean? Maybe her rational thinking was getting to her. For some reason, she never could have that romantic thinking, a world where things like faeries or Santa exist. There always had to be a logical reason to it and this symbol on the cave wall was challenging her mind to except what it could be.

"well i don't know what it is, but we need to find some food, last night's chocolate didn't last very long" my stomach growls loudly, nearly echoing off the cave walls. I see rio leave and am concerned, "Gen lets get out of this cave..." i take her hand.
