Hale looked at Kyle sighing softly and walking closer to the bed. He sat on the edge some and pulled the boy into a hug. "I'll gladly help you Kyle." he said softly and ran a hand threw the boy's hair. "You shouldn't bite your lip sweetie." he added softly when he saw the male chewing on his lip.

Kyle didn't say anything. He was trying not to cry again. He hated it. He didn't like crying in front of anyone.

Hale sighed softly and set his head on top of Kyles, blowing at the boys soft hair. "I'll make sure the brownies are ready for you when you get out tomorrow." he said softly and yawned some. He checked his watch for the time yawning softly.

"Dont leave me here tonight..please" Kyle said in a voice that was almost a whimper. He was scared of being alone in this place. It terrified the boy.

"I wasn't going to leave you Kyle, I'm just saying that the brownies will be ready for you tomorrow." Hale said softly and chuckled. He sighed softly and kissed the top of the boys head. "I'll be sleeping in that chair right next to you all night." he said softly and smiled.

"thanks.." He mumbled. It had been a while since someone had cared for him like this..last person was jake. He layed down on the pillow closing his eyes. He was thinking of his friend. He ended up falling asleep holding onto the others shirt tightly.

"Anytime." Hale said softly and ran a hand threw the boys hair. He watched as Kyle lay down before covering him up with the sheets. Quietly he sat there leaning up against the wall the hospital bed lay against thinking of what to tell his parents. When Kyle had fallen asleep Hale pulled his phone out and text his mother a quick message
Hey Mum my friend was sent to the hospital during lunch. I'm staying with him and please please ask Abbie to make brownies Plllllleeease!

Well maybe it isn't all that quick but it sums everything up. A few minutes later Hale was drifting to sleep were he sat.

Kyle slept soundly. The only sound in the room was the beeping of the machines he was hooked up to. Sometime that night a nurse came in and wrapped a blanket around Chris and covered kyle up. She then left the room closing the door behind her. Kyle

Hale flinched some as the blanket was wrapped around him. He had his arms crossed over his chest while sleeping soundly till the sun came up shinning threw the curtains into his face. With an annoyed groan he turned his head away from the sun shine almost tumbling to the floor finally waking up.

Kyle was sleeping soundly, clinging to the pillow he laid on. The boy had a clam and relaxed demier about himself as he slept.

Hale looked down at Kyle watching the boy sleep beside him. He sighed softly and rubbed at his eyes lightly. With a small sigh he looked at his watch checking the time seeing it was already early morning.

Kyle slept soundly. His eyes closed and his breathing calm. He was trying to make himself fall asleep. He wondered why the boy had stopped playing with his hair. It felt good when he did.

Hale closed his eyes again and relaxed as his hand went back to running threw Kyle's soft hair. He almost began to fall asleep once more but he just couldn't fall asleep yet. Hale sighed softly and ran his free hand threw his own hair and pulled the blanket closer to him.

"I cant sleep" Kyle said looking up at his lover. He reached up playing with the others hair. "The meds they gave me wont let me" He said watching the other with a small smile on his lips.

Hale jumped slightly when Kyle spoke. He looked down at the boy and quietly laughed. "I'm sorry Kyle, I guess we will just have to stay up and play patty cake." he said smiling softly to the boy. He lightly ruffled Kyle's hair before looking over to the window.
