He seemed to almost growl and he turned to face her full on.
"This isn't what I want. I'm asking you."

Memora blinked, slightly taken aback.
"I don't particularly care either way, Uncle Flurries. It's up to you."
A pleaser, that's all Memora was trying to be.

"Very well. It is late, I best return my brother's prized daughter before he has my head."
And with that he turned tail and headed back, not entirely pleased with himself for fleeing the company of an indecisive female. Normally this would be the perfect chance for -- what was he thinking?! This was his darling niece. Yes, home. Before he lost his head.

Memora watched as he began to walk away then slowly followed, remaining a full body's length behind Wind-Cast Flurries.
She dragged her long tail on the ground and looked about, she really didn't know where they were since on the way she had been distracted by her thoughts.
Taking more interest in the scenery this time, Memora remained uncharacteristically quiet.

He was lost in his own thoughts. Varying thoughts of a vast white space, unconsciously looking back to make sure Memora was there.
"You're quiet," he noted slightly as he slowed his pace. "Is something wrong?"

Snapping out of her mini-daze, Memora looked back up towards the fox-pony in front of her. "Oh." she blinked, "I'm just trying to figure out where we are." she spoke softly.
Memora was suddenly, well, overcome with an urge to... To what? Play?
She shook her head and then, giggling rather girlishly, dashed towards Wind-Cast Flurries and bumped him with her shoulder before she galloped off due west.

Before he could say anything Memora bumped into and dashed past him. She didn't know where they were but she was running off? What was wrong with that girl! If anything happened to her it would be his head on the fence post!
It didn't take him long to chase after her.

Memora peered over her shoulder, her laughter ringing in the air as she ran. It was probably dumb- running around like this- but she had always been able to find her way home, before.
The less visible things she inherited from her father were a keen sense of smell, better hearing than most foxes and, perhaps her favourite thing, her ability to run.

He had a short thought about how his brother and Letho had met. It was a night, like this? A chase? Although Memora was much faster than her mother she was still no match for his pure blood and soon after he caught up to Memora with a large grin on his face.
"My dear, I do believe you're running away from me."
He ran by her side, his grin not leaving. Boy, he didn't get to run like this often.
"But I seem to have captured you."

Memora glanced side-long towards her Uncle then came to a sudden halt, a grin on her face.
She didn't give him the chance to stop or turn and dashed off in a different direction- towards the forest where there were obstacles for them to dodge.

Oh ho ho, what a tricky fox he has here tonight.
If he hadn't been a fox he would have ran right into the bushes as Memora stopped and dashed into the other direction. As quick as he could he stopped and turned in the other direction.
"I am going to get you!"

Memora threw her head back and laughed, "Good luck!" she called back. Dashing into the forest and immediately swirving this way and that, avoiding trees, bushes and startled animals that hadn't the time to get out of the way.

He grinned and then slowly stopped, allowing Memora to settle into the distance. He watched, admired as she ran and slowly, he followed after her wondering how soon she'd notice.

Memora slowed and settled between two trees in a "V" shape, her body hidden mostly by the low leaf-covered branches. She peered around, listening carefully.
Was he not chasing her anymore? Surly he could run fast enough to find her in here.

Memora was a bright enough girl, he figured. It wouldn't take her too much longer to realize he wasn't chasing her. In fact, instead he had wandered over to a pond before the forest and sat gently on the grass, waiting.
