Aylia Sickly Psycho Aylia Sickly Psycho Aylia Okay, I just recently finished reading a book on astral projection, so last night I was all trying and stuff you know? ((ignor idiot talk, I dunno what's up with it sweatdrop )) So I was using this procces the author explained in which the projector like relaxes herself and then uses mental imaging to like imagine yourself flying up a rainbow ((I know, odd sounding, but my head wanted me to use it.)), so I was trying and it was working really well. I could feel my body getting lighter, like I wasn't all in it, I did not get fully out yet, but it was very good progress. Now for the point of this post, when my obdy was lightening a lot, my toes started curling up and twitching and my hands were also twitching, my whole arm a few times as well. Is this normal? Or am I just wierd or something? I'm not sure if that's normal though I would expect many people to have that feeling. I want to try that now. I think I'm goingto get off soon and so that or read....if I can drag myself aeway from the computer....If you want to find a good book on Astral prodjection and don't mind a really creepy bi sex obsessed author, read "Astral Projection for Beginners" By Edain McCoy. It's got really good info....but she seems to like sex.....a lot..... Thanks, that shouldn't bother me too much. I've read some books by some very disturbed people before so I think I can handle it.It's rather interesting because I got to seriously tramatize my friends with the book. They were all really creeped out by her. sweatdrop xd lol, I take it your friends don't read books by people like that to often. xd

It helps so much. You can just concentrate on your voice and drown out all the sownds and thoughts I meditat just befor I go to bed. I think I'm going to start doing it in the morning too.

If you can't or don't want to chant you could hum too, that works. With a chant some people feel they need to concentrate on words to much.

I would practice in a room where you can lock all pets out of.

Yeah - but he will just cry at the door and stuff - for the most part he usually stays clear when there is something magical afoot. If we cast a circle in the room he will not go in it *at all*, he will sit down just outside it to watch us but he will never go in it. Heheh. I can use him as a thermometor of sorts - if he comes and sits next to me I know that there is something wrong with my circle...

Going thru oldish thread again I am. Ment to post this awhile ago, but I kinda went poof into the thing they like to call school. anyways Apparentally I astral projected for the first time around the middle of last month. I say apparentally because I have no recollection of the event, other than the fact that I was .....out of it shall we say?? Anyways, I guess i zoned out for awhile and there was no one home at all. scared my friends a bit. Now, I say this was an astral thingy, because my godmom, whos very sensative to these things and often has things wandering around her house(after the tsunami i couldnt be there for about a week, there were too many there) and she said she looked up and saw me standing in front of my room with this big grin on my face. she asked what i was doing and i just grinned more, waved and walked thru the door. she went to check on me, and I wasnt there anymore, so i guess i went back....home??? either way, i thought it was cool when i found out. so did she for that matter xp

I am glad your grandmother is sensitive to those things so you know you did it. I would love to freak out my frineds, but that's beyond the point. I think I scare them enough anyway.

I was trying to astrally project last night when I woke up straight after a dream, I could see myself walking downstairs, then outside into the night, I was on my way to the train station (which is 1/2 a mile up the road) then suddenly, as I was walking down the road, 1,2,3...I fell asleep again! 3nodding
How far can someone astrally project ?

I've astral projected halfway. I was half asleep, and my body was all vibraty. This had happened to me befor, although I didn't know wat it ment. I used to imagin the room was spinning or slanting... it was kind a fun, but anyway, this time, I figured what it was, and I imagined myself geting lighter and lighter. I felt my torso rise out, and I felt energies shooting through my body, it was kinda intoxicating, lol. it was cool. Im gonna try that again soon.

Just found this thread...astral projection has always interested me, mainly due to the fact that I think I've had some experiences in my childhood. I remember standing at the top of a neighbor's stairway and deciding to jump...but when my feet left the ground, rather than tumbling headlong down, I just kind of...swooped to the ground, and back up again. I tried to tell my neighbor what I did, and he laughed and insisted he had seen me at the top of the stairs all a long. He didn't believe me. I also remember being in the kitchen once while my parents were smoking (this was back when they smoked...which was...late eighties, maybe?) and I was tired of the smoke. I found myself in a horizontal position, flying through the smoke slowly at first, then faster, until I got into the living room. My clothes still smelled like cigarettes later on, but my mother told me that I had fainted. ...now if onlt I could figure out how I had done it...
