-When you can classify each instrument in a band like a character in your average teen drama (ie: trumpets/jocks, saxes/over-achievers, euphoniums/rock stars).
-When you get into a debate with your music teacher/professor about the differences between the euphonium and the baritone (and yes, there is a difference).
-When you walk up next to one of your friends, and after a few feet of walking, turn and ask, "am I straight?" without giving it a second thought.
-The same as above, but you guide to make sure you're in line.
-You build an OCD habit where you don't function well when you walk unless you count each step in fours and you always start the first step with your left foot.
-When you know that a Neapolitan is more than just a kind of ice cream.
-When you can tell band jokes to your music teacher, AND GET EXTRA CREDIT.

swide When your walking and your hear a song and start marching in tempo with song. Not march, but each time "Stayin' Alive" plays, I walk to the beat.

*You hiccup in timeXD(yes, this happened. At a football game. brass were warming up, we were going to go tune. I was hicuping in time to the brass's warmupxD)
*"undress me" is used at least once a week, and is not referring to anything sexualXD
*Everytime you hear drum tap, you start walking/marching in time to them(Yeah, our whole band does this. At least, everyone in my band who can actually march. Those who can't are alternates thoughxD)
*You can't help but count time to your music
*You check to see if your car is in step with the others, and it takes you about five minutes to realize that cars do not have legs, and then you wonder why they aren't in stepXD(everytime I'm in a car. You would thnk I'd learn by nowXD)
*You can sing your part for every song, and when around other band members you start a noinstrument fight song or stands tuneXD(We did this at our last festivalXD And every other festival)
*You laugh when a non-band person walks into the band room during rehearsal and goes 0o0
*You can be caught marching through hallways or stores(Yup. i practice marching all the timeXD)
*You are always in step with the person next to you

when you prefer your instument over your boyfriend/girlfriend
when you want to learn how to play flight of the bumblebee on your instrument.
when you know more about your instrument than your band director does

pole-dancer888 When you start doing fingerings in the hallway when you prefer your instument over your boyfriend/girlfriend when you want to learn how to play flight of the bumblebee on your instrument. when you know more about your instrument than your band director does I can play the part of Flight of the Bumblebee that was in my book.... It was really fun! XD

Sir Caine the Blue You know you're a band geek when you arrive half an hour early to a game and your there before your band director. (wasn't me...but a friend of mine whose in band.) Ugh. I do that a lot too..... X3

Chrisserz You know your a band geek when: -you march in step with your friends in the hallways -you run in step with your friends during gym class warm ups -you mark time with other peoples show music -you keep time with other band's cadences -band camp is the highlight of your summer -you can recognize dinkles 200 yards away -you play your stand music for fun -you always roll step, or backmarch and many, many more. lolz. Dude, I do ALL of that!!!! That's insane. God, I'm a band geek...

Random people 2.Haveing people help you take your clothes off or put them back on isn't sexually simulateing 3. you know other instraments part just as well as your own Number's 1 and 2, definitely. I mean, you can't get in and out of those band jackets by yourself! It's impossible!

...When you're thinking about doing something outside of band and all you can worry about is what foot you're going to step off on. *literally happened to me*
...When popular topics you talk about with your friends include your band instructors, drum majors, and the new set you learned last Friday.
