Only just getting in here, where to begin, where to begin…ok how about in order:
1. @all - I just have to say while I’m not surprised hair came up as part of the bashing, I’m surprised it started with Roba. Seriously?! With all the crazy gravity defying hair out there we instantly think of a minor character? Hahaha you guys crack me up.
2. @Chibi K - LOVES the Seto rock and roll comic, that thing was super special awesome. Especially the “so grounded ending,” that was way cute.
3. @Ghost - I seriously hope your sister hasn’t REALLY killed people, that’s kinda scary. I mean yea I’d probably still love my brother too but we’d have some serious issues…*nervous chuckling*
4. @Apo - I only have a brother so you aren’t alone in the small family deal. I guess I have half siblings but it’s hard to feel they count when the one closest in age to you is 10 years older - oh yea and the never meeting them thing is also a damper on the whole kinship feelings too.
5. @Kits + Nightfure - First Nightfure, I sometimes write my posts on word doc (like now) before submitting them, and for some reason spell-check wants to change your username to lightface, which amuses the hell out of me, don't even know why, it just does.
Anyhow I don’t think either “kura” is Papa Smurf, I mean come on there are less than a handful of Kuras - and you really were only counting two - and like a hundred smurfs (though only 2 females, and one is a child, as if THAT’s not creepy). Even if you find the best kura to smurf match, I doubt any will lead to the discovery of a Pa-baka connection.
6. @Nightfure (I‘m about to start leaving this as lightface, auto correct is getting annoying ~_~) + Apo - I concur (with Apo) that the Pokemon version is WAY stupider, I mean at least the Yami and Ryou are one body. Although Team Rocket cracks the hell up out of me so I shan’t complain *huggles the James*…^_^
And adding in @Kits - YES! Clark Kent! Yup he’s SO well disguised *eye roll*. I have this one pic though I like, I won’t put it up (assuming I could find it atm anyhow) since it’s not YGO but it says: Super Strength - an absolute must for any guy wearing bright red leather boots and matching red underwear (outside his pants). So true, so true…^_^
Also, haha, YES, I love the whole growing thing with the Yuugis. That was epic hilarious.
Mkay ends annoying long essay…haha, now that I feel sufficiently caught up I’ll work up some epic bashes to add in myself, in short before I go though, a few things I find hilarious:
- Gravity defying hair (especially starfish shaped hair)
- The way Pegasus is actually in his twenties but comes off as a middle aged ***** (seriously when I was reading profile things and found his character was younger than Ayame from Fruba I was like wha?????)
- The way Seto abuses Yami/Yuugi because THEIR values are distorted
- The way Seto based a video game character after his brother and made it a girl (and the way Yuugi goes on and on about what a great thing this was)
ok, now you can IGNORE ME!!!

Oh wow, Roba was our first hair bashing after all. XD
All my half siblings are way older than me as well. o.o The youngest one is like... ten years older than me, and the oldest is around eighteen years older. But I do know them all, even though one lives in New York. ^^;;
OMG Lightface! XD *cracks up* That's awesome. But ya know, you can get it to stop auto-correcting that by just telling it to add "Nightfure" as a word to its list.
Wow, you sure know a lot of about the Smurfs. XD Papa Smurf was the only one I could think of.
Wheee, I love Jessie. <3 Though Brock is actually my favorite character.
So true for the Superman thing. XD
I know, I was so surprised finding out Pegasus was the same age as Mai! He was younger than I thought, and she was older than I thought. Even though shipping her with Jounouchi is practically canon, that would actually be illegal on her part. o.o Oh, and love Ayame from Fruits Basket. XD
As for the whole Mokuba in a dress thing, in the Japanese version, it was actually the Big Five who created that virtual game, and therefore the princess Mokuba. It makes one wonder why 4Kids decided to switch it to Kaiba making the game. It's like they wanted him to have a little brother princess fetish or something. XD;;

No offense to Nightfure but I'm not 100% sure I want my dictionary recognizing that as a word, hahaha. I can't think of anything I'm likely to typo that would accidentally get corrected to Nightfure rather than my intended, but you never know. I could go epic fail on the word nightmare at some point... razz
Oh man I was like IN LOVE with the smurfs when I was a kid, I won't deny it. Brainy was my favorite, and I hated Smurfette, honestly it's hard not to hate the only female in a sea of males because they make her such a type - and not in the good way. Although I did like Sassette, the only other female surf, she was a red headed little blue tyke, and then there were 3 male smurf children. But yea it's kinda weird because you have Grandpa smurf = one generation, Papa = another, ALMOST EVERY OTHER SMURF = another, and then 4 kids = the last. Not a very even age dispersion is there?! And how do they reproduce? But yea there was Vanity - oh shoot that MIGHT be a good candidate for a crossover with Bakuras here. There was Lazy (might be an ok Ryou candidate, there was also a chef but I dunno how much he liked to eat). That's the other thing about the smurfs, they were all career oriented - save for Smurfette whose attribute was feminineness. AHHHHHHHHHH - OK I AM SO GOING TO SHUT IT ON THE SMURF THING NOW!!! SORRY!! Haha, umm yea I'm still kinda fuzzy to my smurf memories if you can't tell? xd
I like Jessie too but I love James more, he's probably my favorite character. The last roleplay I was doing was a pokemon/YGO crossover and I was playing Grandpa as kind of a Professor Oaks type character - speaking of which I really wish that roleplay would start up again (silly people and their vanishing - hence my desire for the chat room style one, because it won't be forced into hiatus if people vanish).
She WAS older than I thought, and yea I was - and probably still am - fully in support of the MaixJou ship, but yea if you think about it, it IS kinda creepy. Oh well. And I loves Ayame too!! Though Kyo and Yuki are my favorite (was Kyo but when I read the manga I couldn't not love Yuki). Ayame places somewhere behind Haru and Momiji (again Ayame was third, after Kyo and Haru, but like Yuki the manga totally pushed my love for Momiji to extremes).

I only watched a couple episodes of Smurfs when I was little, but I do understand the obsessiveness. XD I was obsessed with the Rugrats. XP
James is so adorable. X3 And that roleplay sounds great. XD
Mai/Jounouchi used to be my main ship, until that fateful day I stumbled upon my first yaoi fanfiction, a Puppyshipping one, as it would be. As I got more into the series, and matured a bit, I started to see Mai and Jounouchi as more siblings than anything... like they really act like a vain older sister and an obnoxious little brother. It's cute, and I could definitely see Mai as an older sister to Shizuka as well. XD So though I'm no longer so fond of Polarshipping romantically or sexually (I don't hate it; just not too into it like I used to be), I do still love the relationship between the two.
I've only read the beginning of the Fruits Basket manga, though I've seen the whole anime series. Heard the manga is much better though, and that scene with Kyou transforming as the 'finale' to the anime wasn't as retardedly dramatic. I think Ayame is my favorite, with Kyou, Shigure, and Hatori up there as well.
Oh, 4Kids. XD

James is WAY adorable.
And yea, I don't necessarily get into the pairing, just support it I guess? I guess I also have to like it a bit because all the guys I've dated (all 3) have been younger than me (one only by a couple months, but the last by 3 years). So not QUITE that big - or illegal - of a gap but still, makes me feel better.
The manga IS much better although I have to say I don't like the way it ends. Won't say more than that. But up until volume 22 (23 is the last if I've got that right) it is pretty fabulous. And of course I wouldn't suggest one not read the end, it's just not what I would have wanted. And the big thing is that there's a quality about it that gets on my nerves, can't really say without spoiling it though so I won't... razz
I do also love Shigure and Hatori...and Rin kinda (who you wouldn't really know I suppose). I HATE manga Akito, like anime Akito. I delude myself into accepting that as the true Akito 4laugh
But yes, the transformation isn't anything like the anime, although there was one aspect to the anime version I did like better. It also doesn't serve as an "end" in the manga (as that's only volume 7 or 8 I think) so that's probably why the anime made it so dramatic when the manga didn't.

Nothing wrong with dating younger people, I say. XD Even the potential illegalness with Mai and Jounouchi doesn't bother me; I just thought I'd point it out. XD
I hated anime Akito, so I'd hate to find out how I'd feel for the manga one...
What part of the anime version did you prefer? o.o

And well manga Akito is just worse, trust me. Sorry if this is considered a spoiler, but Yuki isn't part of the manga version, and he kinda cracks me up in that bit in the anime. Actually Yuki and Kyo's relationship in the manga is even angrier and violent. For the most part I do prefer that though.

The smurfs don't have to make sense... they're just that awesome... And Papa Smurf's too... Papa Smurf-y to be a 'Kura *actually watched a few episodes this morning* ... And JK, feel free to ramble on about the smurfs XD It was interesting! :3
I love James... and Jessie's awesome, but she annoys me a bit... razz
I've only read the beginning of Fruits basket... It was cute, and my friend (who's a Freshmen in College) said that it was awesome because it was cute to the end XD I need to start reading that again... :/

Jessie and May were my favorites from Pokemon... If I were a character in Pokemon I would be May... May is my middle name and I'm SUPER into the contests and stuff now that they introduced them into the games =3
Would I get in trouble if I asked you guys to vote for my art in another thread....? I've seen others ask their friends for votes.....

The contests in the Pokemon games are fun, but not enough to like that region XD I liked all the really old Pokemon (first two regions: Jhoto and which ever one was the other... I don't think it was Hoen (sp) but whatevs XD )
And I wouldn't mind, Ghost, but that's up for Kitsune to decide... I think... :/
Oh, and if ya'll didn't already know, there's another character descussion up in the character discussion sub-forum... There's also a sticky for it in the main forum... Just thought I'd let you all know X3
