Meanwhile, Ahzi had crawled down from the walk and headed for a nearby pond. Taking a hollowed shoot of grass, he dipped down under the surface and used the grass straw as a snorkel of sorts. Well that was the plan, but the truth was he was still in the middle of his preparations, and was hoping Jen wouldn't find him yet.

Ahzi had hopped into the water, and was trying to stay hidden, but unfortunately his grass straw was not holding up well, and the water was pretty cold. He wondered how long he would last before he had to risk getting out.
