"Well..." Tansy laughed softly. "I guess we should go inside and see what we even have to make." She smiled as she turned and walked back to the elevator. She pushed the button and waited for it to come back up to the roof. When the door opened, she stepped inside and held the door open. "Coming?" She asked with a tilt of her head.

"Yeah." Ako said, snapping out of his thoughts. He walked into the elevator and hit the 'close' button before taking a spot against the wall. "I wonder if anyone's made it back yet. Hopefully they brought food."

Tansy laughed softly. "Well, we'll know in about two seconds." She grinned somewhat at him and tilted her head to the side and she rocked back and forth on her heels, waiting for the door to open. She hummed softly to herself and pushed some of her hair back behind her ear and smiled when they stopped and the doors slowly opened. She skipped out and back into the pent house. "Anyone else here yet?!" She called out with excitment.

Garret dropped the pot with a loud clang when he heard Tansy yelling. "Oh, crap.." He bent over to pick it up, and placed on top of the lit stove. "Hey guys. Where were you? I came in and nobody was here." He asked while filling the pot with water.

(Yay, they finally moved this to the front page!)
"Oh, hey, Garret. We were just up n the roof, Tansy wanted some fresh air." Ako explained. After hearing the clanging pot followed by running water, he figured Garret had indeed brought food. "You want some help? What's cookin'?"

Garret pulled out a box of Ramen packages from his messengers bag. "These. Want some? It's chicken flavor. " He tore open a package and emptied the contents into the pot. "It was about the only thing I could afford right now." Garret said with a laugh, "One of us needs to get a job." He shoook some seasonings into the pot as the water started to boil the noodles.

Shortly after Tansey and Ako enter the room, their resident gadget girl busts through the door in a fashion that would suit a televised sitcom. Gidget's dyed hair was tied in a high ponytail, and wrapped in a black bandanna. Her filthy overalls bounces with her as she ran. Ratchet, her cat, peeks his head out of a pocket in the front of her overalls. His white fur is immaculate in comparison to the denim he is surrounded by.
A huge smile across her face, she slides across the floor into a screeching halt in front of the other three. Her smile stretches from ear to ear as she flails around a harness made of leather and hook/loop straps. She holds it up to the angel and bounces as she rattles, "Tansy Tansy Tansy! I finished it! C'mon you've got to try it out!" Ratchet meows along with her as though backing her up.
Gidget stops her bouncing when she lays her eyes on Ako. A hint of pink colors her face as she fidgets with her hands and looks up at him with big, bright, teenage girl with a crush eyes. "Hi Ako."

Tansy was about to open her mouth to respond to Garret's 'get a job' idea when suddenly, she was confronted by the short pink haired female. She laughed softly as she watched her bounce and smiled brightly. "Alright, alright. What have you got this time Gidget?" She laughed softly as she brushed her hair behind her ear and titled her head to the side.

Gidget snaps out of her lovey dovey trance and focuses back on the task that brought her up in the first place. She belts out excitedly, "Ah right! Well, I was in the garage downstairs fixing up the water heater so it could last until the end of this millennium, when Ratchet came across a box full of leather and Velcro. I remembered that you still haven't gotten used to your wings yet, so I decided to whip something up to help you. This harness will keep your wings against your body so they don't have to be out all the time, and you wont have to ruin your shirts anymore. All you have to do is fold them against your body, and I'll do the rest."
She rips open the straps and holds it up before continuing on her rant, "The best part is that the Velcro is large enough to hold your wings against you, but not so strong that you couldn't flex a bit and rip them off in an emergency. Y'know, just in case you fall off a building or something. I mean, not like that would ever happen or anything. That'd just be silly, it's not like you're some sort of helpless girl. You're like some sort of walking miracle with big pretty wings and-"
Ratchet meows loudly at his person, perhaps letting her know that she is talking too much. Gidge halts for a bit, blinks, then resumes speaking, "So anyway, let's go to your room and try it on!"

Tansy blinked rapidly as she listened to Gidget's speech. If this... thing, would hold her wings against her... she could look normal. She bit onto her bottom lip as different possibilities ran through her head. She could walk down the street without having to wonder why everyone was staring at he. She would have to worry about how she was going to get her clothes on every morning. Tansy smiled b rightly. "Gidget! You're amazing!" She grinned as she stated towards her room.

Garret felt excited for Tansy. He hadn't known her previously, or that's what he thinks anyway, but she has been rather down. He never sees her outside, except today when he found out she had gone up to the roof. Garret wished he could regain his memories as easily as she had risen out of her coffin. Though if he wanted to learn anything about his past the process would be more difficult. He brought himself our of his thoughts, remembering their lunch.
He reached for the pot and his hand was encased in ice. It was a normal shaped hand, but more frozen. He pulled his hand back and in his surprised state accidentally knocked the pot of boiling water and noodles off the stove. "Dammit!" He spat as he stepped away from the mess. In his frustaion Garret then hit the counter top with his fist. "I can't control it yet." He mumbled, scrambling for towels.

Ako smiled and gave a little wave when Gidge said 'Hi.' He knew of her little crush, but also knew she was to young. He thought it was cute, but he was also a bit relieved when Tansy spoke and regained the girl's attention, glad to hear about the little mechanic's latest invention. It meant Tansy might be able to leave the hotel, maybe even spend more time with-
His thoughts were interrupted by the crashing pot, and he quickly dodged out of the way of the splash of boiling water. "Calm down, man. It's no big deal, just water and noodles." He said as he grabbed a dish towel from the counter. He started wiping up the mess, ignoring what heat the water still held.

Gidget jumps and squeals in surprise when the pot hits the floor just as she and Tansy enter the angel's room. Hearing his explative she closes the door quietly; leaving just herself, Tansy, and Ratchet in the room.
The cat hops out of the pocket in Gidget's overalls and perches himself at the foot of Tansy's bed. He kneads at the spread a bit, yawns, then curls up into a little white ball. He peeks his head up at the two females, paying particular attention to his person.
Gidget huffs and turns toward Tansy. After two months together, she regards her as the older sister she never had. That being said she proceeds to rattle on as she had earlier. "Ugh," she huffs, "Why do guys have to be so angry all the time. One spilled pot of noodles and he goes crazy." Her eyes go big with adoration as her cheeks bring up a hint of pink.
"That's why Ako's so cool. He doesn't get mad at anything. Nope, that's one guy who never loses his composure." She sighs amorously and touches her hands to her face, twisting her hips a little. Once again, Ratchet mews at her to bring her back to reality. Gidget's face returns to normal as she clears her throat.
"Alright then, just take off your shirt and fold your wings against your back as tight as you can get them. Then I'll handle the rest."

Garret picked up the pot. "Ako, that's not what i'm angry about." He said to Ako, setting the pot in the sink. If only the others knew exactly what he was going through. "I don't even know who I am." Garret sighed and held his hand that he had unconsciously frozen.

Ako stood to wring the water out of the towel and into the sink and saw Garret holding the hand that caused the trouble. "If it's your power, look around, you're in good company." He waved a hand at the penthouse, meaning he was talking about the others. "Tansy just learned to fly, I'm still learning my power, Gidge... Okay, Gidget's already got hers down, but she's weird like that." He smiled, hoping his attempt at a joke wasn't lost on the frustrated boy.
